Chapter 4:Will you fight or perish like a dog?

Biting his lip to steady himself, Joa's heart sank because now his escape was a lot harder.

The ship itself is not that big and should be close to the cannons.

The guards themselves, although they had a dirty and cold aura, it wasn't even close to Tames's aura.

So he and James should be the only beyonders on the ship.

So if you're extremely careful and manage to escape, you'll only have to deal with a few armed guards...

Of course, all that if he manages to free himself from the chains and manages to reach the cannon room but after that what?

If he pulls off the plan, he would be sinking the ship and killing all the people on the bottom....

Would he be able to live with himself after killing all these people?....

He was still chained, but now that Joa was free, the rest of the people were looking at him and didn't know what to say.

Until another man got up and spoke to him..

"Sir, what do you think you are doing? Didn't you see how that monster devoured that poor man? Do you want to die like this?" - Said the same man pointing to the pile of meat next to Joa.

Joa looked at the man, paying attention to his appearance. He was a 30-something man with greasy black hair that was receding and green eyes, he had a light, unkempt beard and he was very dirty like everyone else.

"No, but I also don't want to stay here praying that that unfortunate guy doesn't get hungry and decides that eating one wasn't enough... Besides, I don't intend to be sacrificed to an evil god, so I'm leaving"-when he said that, he looked at the others who were listening to the conversation of course, it's not that they had whispered so everyone heard it.

"Listen everyone when I try to escape I am going to blow this ship to pieces and you are going to drown so I give you 2 choices:

First I release you and we unite to reach the cannons and blow up the ammunition room sending everything to hell.

Or the second choice, you stay here to die drowning like rats since I'm not going to help someone who won't save themselves"

When Joa said that everyone hurled insults at him.

"Are you crazy? You're not just going to kill yourself, you're going to kill us all?"

"Are you an idiot? Are you threatening us?"

"Who the fuck do you think you are to say that?"

"Do you seriously think you'll be able to get to the room, they're going to kill you"

Looking at the crowd he finally answered.

"I'm someone who refuses to die without a fight so if you haven't decided yet I'm sorry but I'm not going to save your asses..."

Turning his back on them, he began to climb the stairs, but before reaching the fifth step, a woman spoke.

"Wait sir please I will help you so please release me and my little sister"

Turning around to see who spoke was the blonde woman with the girl in her arms.
