Loop of Hearts

Time never plays right. My name is Akira Tsugaki and for the last few weeks I have experienced days that were longer than it should be, fixing what had already happened, for her. I wish to go back to the so called normal life, to the days when there were only 24 hours but before that I need to make things right.

Chapter 8

I have a minute to spare before the class starts and I get ready for the next period. Time is going faster these days, not really but it feels like that to me. I have been constantly thinking about these topics and coming up with different theories, that I zone out and do not realise how much time I have spent and I would be completely unaware of what's happening at the time.

Brrrr.... The bell rings and the teacher walks in. I mean this guy just walks in at the exact second when the bell rings. His name is Mr Nakamura and by far he hasn't been a part of my theories. Although I haven't completely ignored him of being related to the whole 'restart' but I have my guts telling me that he isn't accociated with it. Until now, all I know is that he is a normal dude who does everything on time and likes to be on schedule every single time.

If he is late for even a second, I would bet my chances of him being on leave. I just suspect many people now and I have to say that my senses have been quite better than before and I pay attention to almost everything I can see.

The period ends and Mr. Nakamura walks out immediately. He gave us homeworks but it was easy and I decided to do it now itself. The time at home I use to think about this phenomenon, even though some questions might have been cleared, there are still lot of things to be understood. Atleast for now, I need to focus on what is happening.

There. Finished! I completed the homework and put the notes in the bag. It's time to leave and everyone is packing their bags. So, this day is coming to an end. I look back and see Sumire already packed up and waiting for the bell to ring.

"Got practice today?" I asked

"What?" She seemed to be surprised.

"Well, yesterday you said that you didn't have volleyball practice. So, I thought today you might have. I might be wrong." I started a conversation.

"Ooh" Now she understood, "you pay good attention"

You have no idea.

"Well you are not wrong. I do have practice today, and since we have matches coming up I can't be late." She replies.

"Oh, I'll make sure to watch the match."

"That..will be great." She got silent. I guess the conversation had came to an end. This is awkward. Come on! I need to break the silence.

"I think it is time for me to leave" phew nice save.

"Yeah, ...I should also get going. See you tomorrow." She waves and goes off running.

"See..ya" she leaves the classroom before I could say goodbye. People are in a hurry these days.

"Suga! You coming or what?" I call out to Suga and it seems he is doing some paperwork along with Kaname. Suga turns and says, "Man, it will over in a bit."

I walk over to him, with my bag in one hand, "Class rep duties?" I ask

"Yeah, it sure is a hassle." Kaname says.

"Hello Kaname. Is Suga doing his job well?"

"Yeah. He is." She laughed

"You do know that, I'm right here." Suga said.

"Yeah, man. I will wait for you. By the looks of it, I'm guessing that it'll end soon." I look at the papers stacked up on the desk.

"Thanks, I appreciate it." Suga looks tired.

"I have nothing to do," I pull up a chair, "might as well help you." I take a seat near to them.

It's not like I have nothing to do but I need to get home at regular time and I don't want to leave Suga alone. So, the responsible thing to do is to help him. And this is also a great opportunity, as I get closer to the people associated with the 'restart'. This is looking good for me.... Atleast for now.
