'First step, I need a name, an Identity, … and a plan.' He thought.

"…. Meelis…. Zagan… yeah, that'll do." Meelis mused.

*Ding*

Immediately after, his system updated his information.

Looking through the updated information Meelis felt excited about his future plans and also contemplated how he would go about it.

As for the meaning of his name, well he definitely was not one of the Zagan's, hell he wasn't even a part of the Extra Demons, clans who are part of the devils yet not one of the 72 Pillars.

Again, he was just a regular low borne devil with no special bloodline or background.

Even worse, in terms of potential he'd be slightly above Sairaorg, in terms of Demonic Power, which means that unlike Sairaorg's potential which was so abysmal he could not manifest his Demonic Power or clan's bloodline, the Power of Destruction; he barely manifested any Demonic Power if at all.

To give an estimate of how low his Demonic Power was, if his amount of Demonic Power was the size of a cup of water, what other devil kids his age from clans, even the most untalented in the clans, would have Demonic Power the size of a small Pool you'd buy from the Dollar Store.

Despite these setbacks, however, Meelis was confident that with the skillset of powers he acquired from Noir, even the most untalented devil could at the very least reach the Super Devil rank.

Speaking of which, from the Memories Meelis acquired from his minimal academic knowledge he acquired of devil society, the Devil ranking are slightly different and more detailed than what he remembered from the Original Cannon.

In the cannons, devils from the nobility were classified as Low, Mid, and High-class devils (ultimate-class and special-class are special) according to their talent, nobility, and achievements, among other things. Usually, devils born under strong clans were just classified as High-class devils even if they were not inherently strong.

Here, however, the class is different from the strength class, so while a devil could be a High-class devil because of their clan, they could still be a Low-Rank devil because of their weak individual strength.

For both of these classifications, the same still held true, having achievements to your name, contracts signed, or otherwise trained really hard, could still raise your position in terms of Class and Rank.

As for where Meelis got his Super Devil Rank from, well that came from the classification of both his system, Noir, and himself. In the world of "Hidden Dungeon Only I Can Enter" The world itself has a ranking for things like Skills, objects, artifacts, and other things, here in DxD, no such ranking exists, but it seems like the Ranking system for "Hidden Dungeon Only I Can Enter" has adjusted itself to the strength categories of DxD.

The new Rankings would go something like this. Low Rank is F, Mid Rank is E, high Rank is D, Ultimate Rank is C, Satan rank is B-, A Longinus user (with their potential fully realized) is B, Dragon Kings are B+, Dragons like Draig and Albion, and Super devils are A, Gods like Indra are A+, and Ophis and Red are S+ to EX, the reason for that is they are the ceiling of the DxD universe, so if they push their limits and grow stronger the rankings would not make much sense anymore.

After finally sorting out all that information Meelis decided to get started on his plan for the future, which related to his name and plans.

Meelis finally got out his bunk bed and headed to the cafeteria to eat with the other kids.

-Scene Change-

After having breakfast Meelis got assigned his daily chores, which for him involved sweeping the small library they had.

While sweeping Meelis made a quick note of all the books in the library and tried to see which one could come in handy for him.

Sadly, most of the books are either the history of the devils or children's books. Luckily books about devil history did have some slight usefulness to him. He immediately read them when he finished his chores in order to double check his information and perfect his plans.

The reason for naming himself Zagan is not just because it sounds nice. The Zagan house is one of the 40 devil Pillars that went extinct during the Three Factions War. The reason for that was because of their dangerous Life Magic, which was only ever used by Lucifer's wife Lilith, ironically, the 'life' created by wasn't very sentient, but it could still be used for war in conjuring Fodder monsters to attack enemies or boosting the growth of crops to provide food for the devil race. It was because of these factors that the Zagans were wiped out by the Angels and Fallen Angels. Not because of strength, but for their strategic importance. 

Looking at that information, one would guess that assuming the name of Zagan would be a stupid choice, especially when he himself does not possess the Life Magic of the Zagan house, but if he does not possess it, then he should create it.

Unlike the Zagan's Life Magic, using his skills he could do everything the Zagans could AND more, this is where his plan comes in.

By assuming the identity of an illegitimate Zagan offspring, he could get special treatment from the devils and get closer to his goals.

After Meelis finally finished reading and doing his chores, he waited until nighttime when most of the people of the orphanage went to sleep and snuck out.

He immediately conjured his system and looked at his progress.

After thinking about it for a second he agreed

'Nice free upgrade' he cheered.

'I see so that's what happened.'

'So, the system detected the compatibility of (Discerning Eye) and integrated it to the system for ease of use and also did similar things with my other skills such as the LP meter. Apparently, it also added my own LP with Noir's.'

'As a devil with a nigh unlimited lifespan, I obviously should have much more LP than Noir, a human, but I am nothing more than a child right now, luckily, I have the mind of an adult, so I know of many ways to exploit my current condition in order to build up some LP to use.' He smirked to himself.
