Chapter 12

He takes out a long and bloody... Knife. Looking at it, you get scared but then he points it's tip on your neck.

You look down and see the weapon shining with blood. You start trembling and try not to make sudden movements.

He smiles and says, "Repeat that again." "Wh-What?" you say stammering. "Repeat that again. What you said before." he repeats.

"The-The police will come to save me.. I just know it..." you repeat still trembling. The next second, you can't hold your fear and a small tear drops from your left eye.

He looks at your teary eyes and lowers the knife. "I didn't mean to scare you.. I just wanted a good friend.. And you seemed perfect." he says looking down.

You then realize that he isn't evil but broken. "Then why did you.. kidnap students or stalk them?" you ask.

"Because.. I want to be their only friend.. Only friend!" he shouts. You flinch at the sudden scream and then think, "This guy is a total psycho.. There is no point to reason with him.. I should just go with the flow."

"Ok.. I am sure you could've been the 'only friend' even if you hadn't kidnapped them.." you say.

He looks at you with wide eyes and murmurs in a low voice, "That does makes sense.."

You get a slight hope and smile. But then he says, "Oh well! I already came this far.. So no point to regret.. As they say, 'Don't cry on spilt blood'!"

You look at him with disbelief when he says, "And, you just don't understand.. I don't want you as a friend.. But a little more than friends..."

"Best friends?" you ask. "No.." he denies. You could just think of BFFs or... Lovers.

He smiles and pushes the chair on the ground. "Ow!" you groan on the ground. He bends down and removes you from the chair but not the ropes.

You sit crouched on the ground. But then he suddenly puts your hands up and comes closer to your face.

"H-Hey! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING?!" you shout. "I am going kiss you for now." he says smiling and came closer to you face still wearing the mask.

You turn your face to the other side but he pulls your face back in front of him. "Don't resist.. If you do, you can't imagine what I would do to you.." he threatens.

You shiver and stop resisting. He then smiles and comes closer.. closer and his lips touch yours.

....

BAM!!!!! the front door opens and the police walks in with guns. He then looks at you and grunts loudly.

Getting up, he grabs the knife and tries to jump out of the window but sees the police outside as well.

"Drop the weapon!" one of the policemen shouts. He keeps the knife down gently and suddenly faints.

They walk forward and check him out after removing his mask. You couldn't believe what you saw.

"Sis!!" Y/B shouts entering the room. He sees you tied up and traumatized. "Are you okay?" he asks removing the ropes from your hands and legs.

You simply point towards the kidnapper and Y/B turns his head. He also couldn't believe his eyes.

"Is that... Is that Kiyoshi?" Y/B asks. You nod while being speechless. Then you then get up and walk closer to Kiyoshi.

"What happened to him?" you ask one of the policeman. "It seems that he has bitten his tongue. Anyways, please step out and get yourself treated." the policeman answers.

You gasp as Y/B takes you out of the unknown place. You go out in the daybreak and find many police cars and Aoki too. He comes running and asks, "Are you okay?"

"Yeah... I don't think your friend is still there.." you say conveying the sad truth. "I know... We found the bodies in the garage." he says looking down.

"But.. How did you find me?" you ask. "Your friend, C/N called me through my friends. He informed me and I called the police at once. Dad also contacted his friend, who is policeman to look for you." Y/B answers.

"They started asking the people passing by and one of them seemed to know about this. The man had called the police before and told to go to this house.." Aoki says.

Just then you look around and find yourself in your neighborhood. "Wait... There is my house!" you say realizing. You turn back and look at the broken house.

You call C/N and he picks up immediately. "Y/N!! Are you okay?" he asks. "Yeah.. Thank you for helping me here.. I almost lost hope.." you say smiling.

"Did he do anything to you?" he asks. "Um.. He just pushed me on the ground and..." you pause.

"And?" he asks. "And tried to kiss me but just then the police barged in.." you say.

No response was heard for a while. A sudden and disturbing noise was heard from the other side of the phone.

"C/N? Are you okay? What happened?" you ask. "Argh! If I was there, I would kill that bastard!" he shouts on the phone.

"He is already dead.. He bit his tongue... And I am fine, so don't worry." you say looking at the dim sky.

C/N then calmed down and you guys chatted for a while. Once you return home, your mother and father hug you.

Finally you lie on the bed and fall into deep sleep. The next day, you decide not to go to school because of the fatigue.

Sitting at home, eating noodles and just playing video games was the best thing ever. You played with the same player from a few days back.

Just like that, you got famous in school for the case.

Till this case and buzz calmed down, about two months passed. You had also forgotten about the unpleasant experience with Kiyoshi.

One of the reasons for the buzz to calm was that exams were closing up.

No time for anything, you continue to study and study. Somedays, you had a study session with some of your classmates and some days you preferred to study alone.

The results paid off the hard work you did for seven or eight whole hours. And that is also how you gained the title of 'Topper' in your class. ;)
