Washing Together

Once Liu Xiaolan and Mu Yuchen have eaten, it was already dark outside their house. Thinking of it now, she once again forgot to buy something.

Even through washing herself in the river is not as awful as she would imagine, she still wants to be able to wash herself in hot water at home…

This time when she was in the city, thinking about it now she actually even saw a big wash basin which she could use to take a bath, but somehow she didn't remember that she needed one as well when she looked at it…

Now it's great, she has no water basin at home and it's dark outside… Oh well, at least she still has some water that she brought before, they can heat it up and use it to at least was their faces and hands…

Liu Xiaolan saw that Mu Yuchen was smiling while looking at her and said, "Little fool, come here and wash your face…"

Mu Yuchen walked towards her and saw a pot of boiled water. He looked at Liu Xiaolan, a little bewildered. Seeing her hand gesture towards the water, he thought a bit and was just about to push his face inside the pot.

"Little fool, what are you doing? Quickly stop…" Liu Xiaolan quickly stopped him. Truly a little fool, can't even wash his own face normally, what if he gets his hair wet?

Although it's pretty hot recently, even during the night, but he could still get fever if he went to sleep with wet hair. They didn't even have a towel to dry it off, let alone a modern dryer…

It was during times like now when Liu Xiaolan missed her old life. While it's nice to breath with fresh air without pollution, sometimes she really wanted to go back to the modern times and live her life comfortably…

Mu Yuchen didn't know her thoughts. Seeing that he did something wrong and his lady was angry, he quickly said, "I'm sorry, I won't do it again. Lady doesn't kick me out…"

Truly, what should she do with her little fool?

"Alright, I'm not going to kick you out little fool…" She said, after which she picked up a cloth and wet it in the pot. Liu Xiaolan thought about giving it to him, but in the end just took it quietly and washed his face with it for him. "Little fool, you can't just put your head in hot water like this, next time use this cloth to wash yourself with, alright?"

Mu Yuchen couldn't care less what she was saying. Being touched lightly on his face by his lady made him too happy to notice what exactly Liu Xiaolan asked him to do, but seeing her looking at him he nodded his face with a smile.

Liu Xiaolan looked at his behaviour and smiled helplessly. It didn't feel bad to take care of her little fool, but why did she feel like she was taking care of a child instead of her prospective partner?

Once they were done with washing, Liu Xiaolan took care of the dirty water and hung her cloth outside to let it dry during the night.

Liu Xiaolan went back inside the house and noticed that the little fool was about to drill into her bed again. She quickly stopped him and said, "Little fool, I let you sleep here last time because you were injured, but you're fine now? Go and sleep in the straw…"

Mu Yuchen looked at the straw she pointed at and his face darkened a little, but he still obediently went over and lied down. Seeing his uncomfortable face did make Liu Xiaolan feel a little bad for him, but they only had a single bedding.

It's not like she can magically get another one right now? Unfortunately for both of them but she didn't receive magic powers when she reincarnated in this world...

Liu Xiaolan lied down herself in her own bed and said, "Goodnight little fool, sleep tightly."

However, somehow she couldn't fall asleep. In her mind she kept repeating what happened today, and in the end it all came back to the uncomfortable face of her little fool lying down in straw.

Somehow thinking of him right now, she couldn't help but think if he was able to fall asleep. What if he felt discomfort lying on the ground in straw and couldn't close his eyes during the night? Wouldn't he be tired tomorrow?

Liu Xiaolan opened her eyes and lied down on her side, turning her attention towards Mu Yuchen. She wasn't sure if he was asleep or not, so she whispered quietly, "Little fool, is everything alright? Are you sleeping?"

Mu Yuchen suddenly turned his body to her side and said, "I'm not sleeping yet, does lady needs something?"

Thinking that it was weird that she would call him in the middle of the night, he quickly stood up and asked, "Is lady feeling sick? Should I go look for someone to help?"

"I'm fine, little fool." When Liu Xiaolan saw the worry on his face, her heart softened. Well, she already decided to give him a chance, didn't she?

"Little fool, it must be uncomfortable to lie down on the straw, come and sleep with me." She said, while her face blushed and her ears turned red instantly.

It wouldn't hurt her to let him sleep with her for a night, would it? He's like a big child anyway, so he shouldn't try any tricks on her. It's just lying down under the same guilt, she shouldn't make too big of a deal of it.

Mu Yuchen listened to her and instantly jumped inside her beddings. Thinking of sleeping with his favourite lady he was too happy and almost laughed, his eyes shining brightly.

"Lady, you can't change your mind now, alright? You've already said that you will sleep with me, it's not good to lie to other people…" He quickly said, thinking that even if his lady repented, he won't get out of her bed today anyway.
