A or B ? Now or Later ? Pay fastttt

Marie seemed to have a weird feeling , she suddenly seemed to be weightless and felt she could fly - or at least float about .

She looked around and saw that all around her there was nothing but pitch blackness --- No wait , there was a small door floating in the void , just her size , not an inch more not a cm less .

Curious , she knocked on the door only to find the air twist and in a whoosh she was on the other side of the door . In front of her sat a black hooded figure . In the hood , 2 orbs glowed brightly ... but that was it , there was no nose , no mouth , no ears , no flesh at all ... as if the hood only had a pair of eyes and nothing more .

Though the eyes shined eerily , they seemed to have a calm and unhostile aura to them . Atleast they did not contain the greed and anger that she saw in those masked men . Growing courage she drew closer and wanted to ask the cloaked figure where she was and how was she to get back home .

" Excuse me ... "

" ... "

" Excuse me Sir ! "

" ... "

" EXCUSE ME GOOD SIR !! "

Marie suddenly closed her mouth , not knowing if she pissed off the cloaked figure . But the mysterious being seemed to have not heard her . It continued to stare at her calmly .

It's calmth seemed infectious . Marie calmed down as well and sat quietly in front of the figure .

After an unknown amount of time , the cloak rose ever so slightly and parted into three parts , forming a body and 2 hands . Each hand held a lumionus crystal ball .

" Choose infant , does yee wish zo see ze past of yee , or does yee wish to see ze future ? "

Hearing the hood speak without a mouth , Marie was surprised beyond measure . When she got over it , she remembered that it seemed to have given her a choice , to see some kind of past or some kind of future ...

" The past ? Can I see the past then ? I want to see dinochaurs and giant dragon butterflies ... " yelled the 5 year old girl . [ Who else mistook dragonflies for a different kind of butterfly ? ]

" Yee can see ze past , and zhat past shall be of yee self . Since yee express interest in Era of flighzess birds , yee shall recover memory of yee previous life in Zhat age "

As Marie stepped forward eagerly , the hooded rose to its full height , stretching out a 3 rd arm from its back which presented an empty ragged palm .

Before Marie could ask what it meant , she saw a contract unfurl from the void and in were written some strange symbols which suddenly transformed to English . Though she had only started reading english 2 year back , she still could understand most common sentences , so when she looked at it she saw that it read

SHOULD YOU INFANT , CHOOSE TO BUY A DEAL , BE IT PAST OR FUTURE , YOU MUST PAY FOR THE PRIVELEGE .

2 ) HALF OF YOUR FUTURE GOOD DEEDS AND MERITS OF THE NEXT 1000 STAR DEATHS . "

" Eh ? I need to pay with my good deeds ? what does that mean ? Can I not pay with money ? "

But when she reached into her pockets , she found nothing inside , not even the toffee wrapper she forgot to dispose of .

" Little Infant , good deeds are earned when yee help people wizh no inzenzion zo get rewards , like money or candy ... "

" Usually when I help someone , I get praised for doing it ... are you saying that you will take the praise as a payment ? "

The hood gave a slow but noticeable nod .

Marie felt that spending all of it was not probably wise , so she would rather choose to spend half . That way she could get atleadt praises for half the good deeds she would do in the future . Of course , what she did not understand was that the price would be still be the same , as the period over which she would be paying would atleast be a 12 digit number ... just that she would not feel the pinch directly .

Though she still did not understand how she could pay praises or how the praises she already received would be taken , she choose option 2 .

When she choose it , a light emerged from the crystal and entered her head . What she saw next then made her shriek in surprise .
