Mana Virus V2

{Sire, new data from various specimens have been gathered. I will be transferring it to you now. In addition to that, we have unearthed a very large mana crystal unfortunately, it has only 2% energy accumulated} Zion who was under the huge Holon falls was alerted of new updates.

"The crystal would be useless for now but other information is perfect, we can now start to recreate these ancients as cybernetic organism but we need a stable amount of mana and energy to initiate this project. As of now, energy is not a problem but gathering mana and storing it is a big hassle." Pure Mana can be stored in Mana crystal which can be harvested from dead beasts or mined but because of the rarity of beast developing crystal in their body it is rare to find such crystals. On the other hand mining is not yet wide spread throughout in this era, still occasional miners find these crystals which could be called fortunate because 90% of the found crystals in the ground have stored energy in it. And because storing mana efficiently was not invented yet, mana crystal with energy on them are more expensive. The process of storing mana in a crystal is not yet fully known, so far data from there books suggest that exposing mana crystal directly with mana will slowly store mana into it but it was very inefficient as you have to spend ten parts of mana to store only 1 part(10:1), another way is naturally letting the crystal and overtime it will accumulate mana from the surroundings but it was very slow process that would take hundreds of years.

But Zion with the help of solar panels and the cybernetic nanobots they can store it easily and efficiently. That is why they carefully hide the area were they put the solar panels to avoid discovery from others, and even Zion's subjects including Rygorn and his officials did not know of it. The only thing they know is that it can harvest electricity that is used to some of the devices and machines they are currently are using.

"Azraelle, I have already completed in analyzing the virus properties and it's potential use. We can now use it to further our evolution, I would be out for a couple of days. Any major decisions you can ask Commander Rygorn." {Affirmative sir}

Lake Holon.

There are 9 scattered lakes above Lake Holon. Zion named them from the 9 main Gods of Egypt. Atum, Shu, Tefnut, Geb, Nut, Osiris, Isis, Nephthys, and Set. These small medium and large lakes was situated scattered on the mountains surrounding Dark Forest, The created river, falls all over the mountain but merged into one large river that also created a very huge lake situated just at the edge of Dark Forest in turn the Holon lake created an intricate river system going through Dark Forest they called Holon River(Comparable to Amazon and Nile River).

At the edge of the lake near the water exit into the Holon falls. Zion stood envisioning the city that all of them dreamed of, the city would be the stepping stone to a more bright future. He then looked at his hand holding a vial. "How much more after this could I unravel." Zion was excited and Hopeful, there are still too many unknown enveloping Mana. He drank the vial then sat in a Buddha position.

After a few minutes, his body convulsed and twitched from time to time. His many was chaotic making the nearby beast ran in fright. What he drank was the upgraded version of virus which he created himself. The original virus could unlock the maximum capacity of pure mana, while it destroys the body over time. But this virus could enhance Zion and Azraelle even without enhancing it but Zion had another Idea. He modified the virus to cooperate with the cybernetic nanobots and hopefully aid him and his version of the virus would not harm organic lifeform anymore instead it will take a portion of mana from the host to survive. His new weakness of taking a portion of mana was very negligible because at the first place, the virus can unlock pure mana doubling or even tripling it while it will only take a portion of it.

After a few hours of chaotic mana discharge, Zion's Mana and aura stabilized still he was not yet finished. It took a couple of days for his body to adapt to the new upgrade and on the last day, there is a significant change. His blue aura was constantly changing to black and back to light blue like a beating heart but at the end his aura stabilized and return to it's original color of light blue.

He opened his eyes, and looked at his body observing for any changes but he was still the same as before, still he felt different. There was a substantial increase of strength and mana capacity, he can also feel there is something new to his body but could not think of what was it.

"What is this." His body was so vigorous that nanobots in his body seem to escape from his body. Dust like particles got out of his body and hovered around him, he can control them. He have a feeling that his nanobots upgraded or evolved again, so he tried controlling it towards the nearest tree.

Cybernetic nanobots could survive without their host for about a couple of minutes but beyond that they will die, and even if it can latch onto another lifeform it will just prolong it's lifespan for a few hours till it will eventually die.

After a few experiments, Zion discovered that his Cybernetic nanobots can live indefinitely even outside his body. Also, he can communicate with the bots as long as signal can go through. Because the bots now has enhance it's mana usage, it can multiply in a tremendous amount.

"It, could double or triple the mana of it's host while it only took a small amount of it to survive. It's limit is only that unlocked pure mana could not be unlocked anymore, so it could not make infinite mana from mana itself. What the Virus does is unlock the stored mana and if another mana was stored from outside source again, it will unlock it again. Additionally, Zion make sure that the virus only take mana for it's energy, so if it has no work, the virus will consume very little to none.

Zion looked at the tree that he experimented on and it was glowing in mana because of the virus. "EUREKA" Zion shouted in excitement as a very brilliant idea popped on his mind.
