Chapter 6 - Subspace Creation

Class as usual at Mímameiðr Academy. All recruits attend their class for weeks now. Each of them started to get to know each other and they did it harmoniously. All the Rankers get used to each other and become close. As all the First Year's Rankers walked in the hallway, They approached by one of their classmates. "Hi Kaan, Instructor Rabia is looking for you guys. She's in our class and please meet her right away", said their classmates to Kaan. "Thank you for the message, we'll head there now", Kaan replied with a smile.

Few minutes walking, Kaan and the Rankers arrive at their classroom and Instructor Rabia is at her table in front of the class. "Please have a seat Rankers. I have a task to brief all of you", Instructor Rabia starts her conversation. "Recently we received a report that a new low rank dungeon emerged on the outskirts of our city. Since it's a low rank dungeon, the task is handed to the First Year's Rankers. However, to ensure your safety, The academy will dispatch one instructor and a team of Second Year's Rankers to be on site standby", said Instructor Rabia.

"Each team will proceed with their designated task. The First Ranker Kaan will take charge of the raid team and make sure everyone is safe. As for the other Rankers, I need your utmost cooperation to assist Kaan as the team leader and please look at each other's backs", Instructor Rabia reminded the Rankers.

"Instructor Rabia, can I know how the academy determines what dungeon rank is assigned to which year Rankers?", asked Byzantium the Fourth Ranker. "As we know the low rank dungeon assigned to the First Year's Rankers assisted by Second Year's Rankers. Next is the medium rank dungeon assigned to the Second Year's Rankers assisted by Third Year's Rankers. Lastly the high rank dungeon assigned to the Third Year's Rankers assisted by the Academy's Instructors", explained Instructor Rabia.

"That is all for your task briefing. Now get ready for your preparation. All of you have about one week before the dungeon gate opens", said Instructor Rabia. The Rankers then have a discussion regarding their preparation for the dungeon raid. Byzantium offered to bring lots of potion to reduce using heal during their raid to preserve mana consumption.

Balto The Third Ranker suggests everyone to prepare body armor to increase defense stats. Cassavetes The Fifth Ranker on the other hand, offered to bring various types of medicine as precautious. Maaza The Second Ranker offered to bring ration for their raid.

Listening to all these items makes Kaan wonder how they can bring all of this. With so many things they need to hold or carry in luggage, it actually will slow down their movement. Worst case, it will become a hindrance when they need to fight monsters.

Kaan hasn't included all the equipment needed yet. All of this will restrict their movement during the raid and it can cost their lives. As The First Ranker, Kaan is responsible for his team's safety and he needs to find a solution to this issue they are facing.

Looking at this stuff, Kaan is thinking of a way to make things easier. How to travel lightly but at the same time having all necessary items and equipment with them. "How can we have all items and equipment put together at one place and we only have to bring only that thing?" asked Kaan to The Rankers.

"Maybe we can put everything in some sort of wagon or maybe some luggage" answered Maaza trying to provide Kaan with some of her suggestions. "That's not a bad idea", Kaan answered with a smile. "What about some space, where we can put our belongings in there and attach it to something for example our school emblem here as a gate or a portal connected to space where we placed our belongings", explained Kaan with his hand mimicking a round shape.

The Rankers seem to agree with Kaan. "Let's meet up here at school again after two days. I will try to come up with some mechanism where we can use some space to place our items and equipment", said Kaan with a big smile.

At home, Kaan tries to understand space existence, how he can create an alternate space dimension from reality. He tried to figure out if there is a vector that can connect reality to the alternate space and attach it to the school emblem functioning as a gate portal.

By taking into account how his teleportation works, Kaan embeds the same method by linking it with the school emblem as a medium. The thing with Kaan's mana is it reacting to Kaan's freewill of imagination. The clearer Kaan imagines how the magic should be, It will immediately take its form.

At first Kaan imagined a gate link to the school emblem. Once a white pentagram appears, he focuses on the gate design and trajectory to appear in front of the caster as grimoire. Finally he created a subspace thru vector link with the school emblem.

Now appears in front of him a glowing grimoire with subspace connecting to reality. Kaan then places his cup inside the grimoire and closes it. Then he quickly went out of his house, touched his school emblem and chantless summoned his grimoire. Pentagram takes shape then reconstructs the grimoire in front of him. When Kaan opened his grimoire, the cup he placed earlier was still there and he took it out effortlessly.

With unimaginable joy, Kaan jumps around happily. He laughs so hard as he manages to create a subspace that will make travelling so convenient. "I just need to make a little adjustment to the subspace so that The Rankers can easily use it too", Kaan talked to himself with a satisfied smile.

Later that night Kaan in his room making some adjustments to the subspace. He inscribes the keyword inventarium to open the grimoire and closing it as a book will deactivate it. To secure the subspace so that only the summoner can cast it, Kaan makes it unique to it's caster mana.

Next day Kaan meets with the Rankers at the agreed location in the academy. Everyone is carrying their equipment, items, supplies and all the listed preparation. While loading his medicine to the wagon, Cassavetes asked Kaan, "Where is your load Kaan? Or have you done with your preparation?".

With a joyous smile, Kaan replied, "I have solved our weight issue. Come everyone gather around here". Kaan touched the Rankers school emblems and inserted the inscription of the subspace on it. "Now said out inventarium", Kaan teaches the Rankers to summon their private subspace.

The Rankers were so shocked when a grimoire appeared in front of them. "Now fill up your items in the space inside this grimoire", said Kaan with a curious face.

"This is so convenient. This will save us a lot of time and we can travel fast without worrying about weight", Cassavetes expressed his excitement. "As expected from our talented leader", exclaimed Balto with satisfaction.
