ALEXUS POV

It has been a month sense my mother passed. It has been hard I'm not going to lie but king helped me get through it. Today kings taking me to dinner...I know what your thinking and no we're not together we're just friends very close friends if you ask me. "Lexussss" king screamed from downstairs. I swear this boy doesn't give my name a break 🤣. Yes king I'm coming give me one second I'm doing my makeup I shouted. I didn't know what I was going to wear yet but I just know it was going to be lit.

30 minutes later...

KING'S POV

Lexus takes forever to get ready I've been waiting for this girl for almost 2 hours now and she still hasn't came downstairs. Why not hop on instagram to kill time?

"So who's airi king" Lexus shout whiles coming downstairs. That's just my ex she got issues man don't even trip I told her. "I'm not tripping off nobody boy just let you ex know her place" she stated. I sighed. Why does airi has to mess up everything good I have going on? What car do you want to take tonight ma I asked her. "Probably the lambo"she said. I've just bought a 2020 all black lambo.

Can I drive she asked. "You sure you could handle it ma it's dark". Boy stop playing me like I'm a child boy give me the keys she shouted. I gave it to her and got in the passenger seat. I pulled a blunt from out of the glove box and lit it. "You want to hit it ma?" I asked her. She took it from me and inhaled it twice. "The mugg hit different when your hungry" she said. I only could laugh. We arrived at the restaurant. Table for two I said. We got seated and the waitress took our orders. "So why did you and your ex break up king?". I sigh. She was sleeping with my worker and that's not pleasant to me. She looked shock as if she didn't believe me. What happened ma I asked. "Nothing I just can't believe someone would hurt someone as nice as you" she said. I smiled. Tell me more about yourself king I've been living with you for almost more than a month now and I know so little about you. "Well u know I'm 21 my mother and my daddy lives in Atlanta and I came out here because I just wanted to get away from all the drama" I told her. Which was the truth I came to Houston because airi and I couldn't get along and I just needed a break from her,well that break became permanent.

ALEXUS POV

I've really been enjoying kings company. We were all done eating and we were heading home. When we reached home I sat down in the living room . It started to rain and thunder. I might be 18 but I'm scared of thunder. "King can I sleep with you tonight because I'm scared of thunder?" I pouted. Girl your grown and your scared of a little thunder he said whiles laughing. Boyyy stop playing with me please can I sleep in your bed? I begged. "Yes you can Lexus go take a shower I'll meet you in the room. I went to take a shower and when I came out I lotion my body and throw on a two piece set.

As I was leaving out my room to go to Kings room my phone ring and it showed up as "NO CALLER ID". I was scared to answer but I did. "Hello" I said plainly. "You thought I didn't saw you with that dude at that restaurant so that's your nigga I know where you stay at and trust me it's not looking good for you and that new nigga of yours" the voice instantly came to my knowledge.Its trevon how did he find me? "This isn't call for trevon at all we broke up months ago why are you still putting me through this" I shouted. I'm giving you three days to be back at my crib or else I'm shooting up your crib he demanded. I was scared so I just hanged up the phone. What am I going to do life is going so great right now and Trevon is going to mess it up. I don't even want to face king right now because I don't want to put his life in any danger. "What's wrong mama why you look sad?" King said I looked up I sighed and told him everything. Ma I'm not going to lie to you but your ex is going to die because I can't have him putting me and your life at risk just for his happiness. "No king I don't want you doing anything stupid then I lose you" I said. Your not going to lose me ma I'm here for life I promise he said. He sent chills up my spine because I knew he meant ever last word he said. I ended up falling sleep on his chest.
