KING'S POV

I decided to go get me and shorty some food because a nigga was hungry. I pulled up to Popeyes and order me and shorty some food. Shorty really looks likes she's  scared. I just hope she let a nigga change that. You can see she had been broken I want to help her. I pulled into the trap and got out. I've got plenty niggas after me so I got to have security every where I stay at. I dap up my head security and walk inside. I met my nigga Ace and Corey just playing the game. "Yo money ain't gone make if y'all just playing games all day" I said. "You've been gone all day nigga we had nothing to do". Man I've meet this lil shorty and her old lady just died I've been to hospital with her ever since I said. "Nigga you haven't talk to a girl sense Ari crushed your little heart" Corey said which was true. I had this ex name Ari she slept with one of my workers. I realized I can't trust nobody. Alexus seems different to me I don't know why. "Aye I'll be back I'm going to check on shorty". Nigga don't fall in love to quick on us Ace said. We all laughed.

ALEXUS POV

The doctors told me I would be discharged today. I'm sitting here because King told me he was going to get food. I don't understand why this nigga is so nice to me. I don't know what I'm going to do because I can't pay my mommas bills because I have no job. "Hey" King said snapping me out of my thoughts. "Hi" I said plainly. "I brought you something to eat ma". I couldn't help but notice all his jewelry this boy must be rich. I can't eat right now I'm to stressed. "Tell me what's on your mind mama I'm listening". My momma took care of me she did everything for me I just got fired from my job before you called me. How am I suppose to go on ? I said as a tear slip from my eye. "You can stay with me as long as you need to shorty that's no problem" he said. I was shocked asf I just met this nigga now he wants me to move in with him. " No I couldn't do that I just met you I barely know you for all I know you might want to kill me" I said. He look at me with a strange look. "Ma why would I want to kill you? Come on let's get out of here I'm going to show you where I live at and if you want to stay u can and if u don't I'll rent you a hotel until you get on your feet". This man is really to good to be true. As I signed my release paper he just stared at me. "I'm going to follow you" I said to him as I hopped into my G-wagon. This was my graduation gift from my mom. I'm really going to miss her😔.

30 minutes later...

We pulled up to this gated community. Wow this nigga really living big I said to myself. We pulled up to his crib I kid you not my mouth dropped open.

This all you? I said as I hopped out my car. "Yeah it something slight". Something slight nigga you living better than me I thought to myself. As we walked inside I just looked around "master King you're home and you brought a guest.  Do you need anything?"one of the ladies said to him as we walk through the house. "Ma u can stay here I'll have the downstairs and you have the upstairs I won't bother you I promise". I can tell he meant well. Why not let him help me? I thought to myself. Okay I sighed but no funny stuff. He laughed. I'm serious King I'm not one of those girls 🙄I said to him. "Linda come show her where's her room please" he shouted. The maid came running and showed me my room. I had to be dreaming. SOMEONE  PINCH ME.

Wowwwww I said. The maid gave me a phone. "If u need anything just call and I'll come" she said. I laid down in the bed and just sighed. Suddenly my phone began to ring it was Angelia FaceTiming me. "Heyyyy girly how are you?". Not so good Pooh my mama passed. I said to her trying not to cry. "Oh no mama where are you? I'm coming over". I've met this amazing guy he has been by my side the whole time of my mother's death Angelia he even let me stay with him until I get on my feet because I lost my job to.  The whole time I was speaking her face was like this "😱".whats his name Alexus. "His name is King you know him". "Yeah I know him that's Corey's friend I'm coming over". Noo let me ask him first girl I said "KINGGGGGGGGG" I shouted he came running up the stairs. "What happen ma" he said looking scared asf. "Can my friend come over?". I don't know about all that ma. I pouted. Give him the phone Alexus. I gave it to him "King don't play dumb like you don't know me" he looked shocked. "Ohhh Angelia I didn't know it was you". I ended my called. I didn't know you were friends with my homeboy wife King said. "Me and Angelia been friends from I was in diapers" I told him he laughed. Man they good people. I could agree on that.

KINGS POV

"Alexus come down stairs there here" I shouted. I let shorty moved in with me because I didn't want that stupid ex of hers trying anything. I know it's not any of my business but I still cared. Alexus came running downstairs. "Boy don't scream my name like that you scared me" she said I laughed. Corey and I went to my den and chopped it up. 

"So how come shorty staying with you?" Corey asked me. I don't want her stupid ex bothering with her man you know I don't get down like that I said to Corey he nodded. She good peoples though when I met her she wasn't that thick though you got a lot of meat on your hands Corey said. We laughed together. Man ain't nobody even looking at her in that way I told Corey. Nigga you wasn't going to have her in your house if you didn't like her a little bit stop capping. He wasn't lying though I did like Alexus a little bit but I wanted to make sure she was okay. Me and Corey talked a little bit more before we head back to the living room. Angelia and Alexus was talking. "King later on can you come with me to get my clothes please?"Alexus pouted. "Yeah mama of course I said". Man We gonna head out Corey said. As they left I sat on the couch with Alexus. So tell me about your self Alexus. I'm 18 I jus graduated I wanted to started my hair and lashes business but everything took a left turn my mother told me my daddy left when I was 4 so I really don't have any family she said. Woww this girl has been hurt in many different ways I said to myself. "How old are you?" she asked me. I'm 21 I said to her. She laughed. "You sure your a rapper? Because I know what Corey does and you look like you  do it too" she said I laughed at her. "Yeah ma I'm the leader In what Corey does I just didn't want you to look at me different". I wouldn't look at you different unless you give me a reason to she said to me. I could already see I'm going to fall in love with this girl. Come on let's go get your clothes I said to her. We hopped in my brand new hellcat 2020

You must like fast cars she said. I do i hope you're not scared. Scared of what boy? I could drive a stick she said. I look at her shocked asf. You big cap I said to her. I'm going to let u drive back home let me see what you can do. She laughed "Ight bet" she said. We pulled up to her mommas house she went in and got her clothes she came outside with three big suitcases. How much clothes this girl got? I asked to myself. I hopped over into the passenger side so she could drive. "Don't  get scared now" she said. Girl ain't nobody scared let me see what u can do cause I know you capping I told her. We were on the free way and I kid you not this girl was whipping my car better than me. "Take it easy shorty u proved me wrong" she laughed. I just laid back and lit my blunt and chilled until we reached home.
