Life of Ace Mikaelson (the originals fanfic

Reincarnated into the world of the supernatural after a boring life in his original world, our MC Ace is given some wishes and told to make things entertaining for both him and ROB. I own anything from the originals except for my OC and any OC characters I may create in the future.

Chapter 5: Three Years Later

After that first day of training with my mother, three years have gone by. In these three years, I have nearly completed all the spells in our family's grimoire, leaving only the most complex and challenging spells and rituals untouched.

Aside from our family spells, I have also made significant progress with the spells from the H.P. world, completing spells for all specialties from the first to seventh-year courses. It was initially challenging to conduct spells that required precise control, like transfiguration, but after many late nights and long hours, I managed to complete them. Still, I will have to create either a wand or a replacement focus for one as I realized why wizards from that world used one to produce their spells.

Using a wand or other focus requires less mental burden and less strain on expressing magic externally. I will have to create a focus for myself in the future, maybe make one out of my daylight ring once we get turned.

Apart from my progress in spells, Mother also taught me how to brew different potions that she and our family created, which also allowed me to start my journey on the potion path of 'Bewitching the mind and ensnaring the senses, bottle fame, brew glory and even put a stopper in death.'

A.N.: (If you know, you know, it's an H.P reference as a hint for those who don't)

My mother was shocked when she found me brewing a potion that she had never seen or heard of, and even more so when she learned that they were cures to the most basic illnesses that would plague the village from time to time, given that the medical knowledge in this period was shallow.

When my mother found out that I could create new potions, she would sit in on whenever I would brew them and record the process down into the family grimoire to add to the vast knowledge. Although it was uncomfortable sometimes to be stared at so closely for hours while I was brewing them, I knew that it had to be done at some point as it was our responsibility as the holders of the grimoire.

Mother also tried to teach me runes, but the rune magic of this world is honestly horrendous compared to that of the H.P. world, so I just focused on the latter as it would be a lot more useful to my plans.

Apart from my endeavors in my magic studies, I also trained physically, pushing my body to the limits daily as my werewolf side allowed me to recover by the following day. My training made me look like a 12-year-old, towering over my younger siblings instead of a typical seven-year-old.

Speaking of my younger siblings, in these three years, Klaus, Kol, and Rebekah have grown a bit, with Klaus and Kol being able to walk and talk fluently. However, Rebekah, although able to walk adequately, she still has that baby slur when she speaks, which makes her sound adorable.

As I recalled what happened throughout these three years, I heard the voice of my father outside of my room, "Get dressed and come outside now boy; it's time you learned to be a man." with that, he walked away as I heard his footsteps grow quieter into the distance.

I stood up from my bed and proceeded to get dressed; after I was finished, I walked out of the house to find my father standing with two wooden swords in his hands, waiting on me. He throws one of them at me, and as I catch it, he says, "I am going to teach you how to fight like a true warrior, and there shall be no room for weakness; you hear me, boy!"

"Yes, Father!" I reply firmly while adjusting the sword and getting into my best battle-ready stance. Once he saw that I was ready, he lunged at me and thus began our first sword training battle. This lasted for several hours until both of us breathed heavily, with me having black and blue marks all over my body and Mikael barely having a scratch due to his abundant experience on the battlefield.

"you did well for your first lesson, boy, but you still have a long way to go. Now go along and wash up; I have things to do," he said. When he finished what he had to say, he turned around and walked away to gods knows where. I let out a deep breath as I watched him walk away, and then I turned and made my way back to the house to wash up all the sweat accumulated while training.

A.N.:(A little short compared to the others, but wanted to finish the start of his training in both magic and sword. Over the following few chapters, there will probably be some time skips to get to when they are turned and when our MC will start his thousand-year journey. I have read your comments, and some of you have put forward some interesting ideas that I have been thinking of how to work into the story, so we will see how it goes.
