Life Of A Young Author

Klein, a high schooler who has been locking himself in his room ever since he lost his best friend. His mother never bothered pushing him to go to school. Since he had nothing to do, he started writing novels online. He got a lot of 5 stars reviews but somehow his book is never 5 stars! He needs to look for the comment with no 5 stars! He continued writing until his fifth book was published online. Suddenly, a reader of his reaches out to him and wishes him luck with his new book. It was normal to him but when he checked the person’s account, he saw their past comments. Turns out they had commented a lot on his book and he reads every comment written by them. He was shocked to find the person pointing out his mistake and their opinion on his book. Not a full 5 stars review! Never once he felt hurt by review until this person appears. K: Do you mind if I offer you to be my assistant. K.DMed.ME: O.O? And that...is how Klein made his first friend. ~ Warning: Contain(s): slight bl Not so good English triggering topics ~ Criticism are welcome in the comment section!

"Romance?! Hoho! You ask the right person!"

It's our favourite time in school which is recess! Han had to drag Klein to his class to ask Woo Young about their topic last night because Klein forgot about it. Do you believe it if I tell you that Klein was sleeping when Han went to get him just now?

"Well, first! Let me know the relationship your friend wants to write about was between what character! The main character and his childhood friend, a side character and a popular girl or maybeee the prince charming and the magical creature!"

"The last one existed?" Klein asked.

Han just shrugged before realising that Woo Young is waiting for their answer with shining, excited eyes. He gave Klein a nudge to make him answer the question. Klein had to look up to the ceiling and he knew very well the kids in the class were actually listening to their conversation.

"A…cat and a…cat?"

Woo Young sweatdrops while Han gives Woo Young an awkward smile. He should've known that this guy hasn't decided yet what character he wanted to be in a relationship with in his story! He pushed Klein to sit down in his seat while he explained things to Woo Young.

"Ah! Your friend hasn't decided yet! Then he probably didn't intend to write romance and just wanted to add some romance in their novels! I recommend a cute romance between the mc best friend and maybe the mc's siblings? If the mc doesn't have siblings, maybe mc's other best friend or classmate would!"

Klein thought about it for a while until he decided to accept the recommendation. When Han accompanied the author to the cafeteria, he saw that his boss was deeply in his own world. In order to get his attention, he had to do the secret technique.

He poke Klein's cheeks several times.

"...What?"

"Got some ideas now?"

"I need to create another best friend for the mc. He has no siblings or another friend."

Han wonders why this character is so pathetic that he doesn't even have friends other than that one character. Well, after all this time, the other character that interacts with the main character is not his friend but just an acquaintance?

"Since my novel is about school life, let's befriend a delinquent."

Enough with being shocked at the fact that the character had only one friend, Klein is going to make his new friend a delinquent?? What is this weird set up. And he knew very well Klein likes to write something that he has experienced so does this guy ever befriend a delinquent?

"Why delinquent??? Have you associated with such students before?"

"Not yet. Let's go stalk some school delinquents after school."

Σ(ʘ□ʘ||||)

His assistant just stood there frozen while he bought the bread he wanted and went back to his class. No way his friend just dragged him to stalk some delinquent just from a novel.

JUST FOR A NOVEL!

Did he feel regret being his assistant?

Yes.

But is he curious about how this is gonna go?

Yes.

After school, Hana saw Klein energetically gather all his stuff and run out of their classroom. That action did not only shock the girl only but also the whole class. Han, who just reached the class to pick up his adopted introvert, saw everyone watching Klein through the window.

He just happily runs out from the school gate which makes Han run out to catch up.

He did not get paid to do this.

He successfully found Klein hiding while trying to watch something under the bridge. Han had to switch his phone on and open the camera for Klein to use. Well, remember that our poor author had bad eyesights. The camera could help him a little.

"Three students getting beat up by our school's top delinquent."

"From third year, Class E, Edward."

When Klein heard Han introducing their senior to him, he wondered where the hell did he even get his name from. Scratch that, he had to write down what happened. Klein turned around to look for his notebook while Han tried to get his phone back from Klein's hand.

"What are you two doing here?"

They turned around and saw Edward already standing in front of them. Han wanted to run but Klein is stunned at what he's seeing right now. The delinquent had a normal voice not scary like those delinquent in the anime.

"Oi! I am asking you-"

"We're sorry! My friend here is just stopping here to look for his stuff!"

Not a bad lie but the delinquent still sees that Klein is staring at him. Klein saw the delinquent holding a plastic bag full with a cup of instant noodles. He found the god! He feels like bowing down to his fellow comrade but Han pull his hand to stand up.

"We will get going-"

'Growl'

Edward and Han both sweatdrop when they hear Klein's stomach growl. He knew those uniforms point out that those two are his juniors so he guessed it's fine to bring them to eat somewhere. Edward brings those two to the nearby truck food stall and buys some food for them.

'I think this is the blessing I got for trying my best when I write novels.'

Klein chews food happily while the other two eat in discomfort. After their food is finished, the seniors look at them again and ask about their intention for going there just now. Klein, who is calling Edward his lucky charm in head, answers the question on behalf both of them.

"I want to know how it feels to have friends who's a delinquent."

"I feel like a test subject."

'You are though.' ◕‿◕

Han doesn't even want to know what Klein is thinking. The day was too eventful and it's not Klein who's complaining today but our poor Han do. He felt like this was the karma for disturbing Klein's peaceful life before.

Klein: He's suitable for my imaginary sister.

Han: (^▽^;)

Woo Young: how would you describe this imaginary sister of yours?

Klein: Imaginary.

Hana: Not that kind of description.

Klein: Oh. Like Hana.
