Chapter 26: Ascending to a new Realm

Soren went up to his room, where he saw his phone sitting on the dresser, and then he went and picked it up while turning it on for the first time in 10 years, and upon the screen flashing white before showing the chinese logo for the phone brand, Soren was met with his home screen, where the only 2 apps being his banking app, and the group chat app. Soren then clicked into the group chat app, and began reading about what everyone's current topic was.

[: Yo @Mad Sabre Three Waves… You think you can come to my house, and steal all my panties!?... Are you not afraid of my husband coming and killing you? :]: soft feather

Upon reading down from that message, Soren found out that Song Shuhang had grown quite powerful over the last 10 years, and this was already expected, as he had read some of the novel before he died. Song Shuhang was now a Ninth Stage Tribulation Immortal, and could rip open the voids of space with his bare hands, making him the strongest in the group right now. After reading the long conversation between Mad Sabre, and Soft Feather after that first message, was quite funny, as Mad Sabre was begging Soft Feather to delete the messages, while Soft Feather refused to do so, and even went as far as pinging Song Shuhang, as to let him know he was needed in the chat, and this made Mad Sabre go crazy as he frantically began spamming the chat as to try and cover up what had just happened, but a little later down the line, Mad Sabre was muted for spamming by Yellow Mountain.

'Hehe… It's like I never left': soren

Soren then noticed that Mad Sabre's ban was up, and he began talking in the chat again, and once again he went back to begging Soft Feather to delete her message, while trying to bribe her with everything he had. Soren had gotten quite tired of the constant notifications he was receiving, so he muted the notifications, making his phone go silent once again, but all the messages were still coming, and while looking around, Soren noticed that he had a special button that only the admins could have, and upon clicking on Mad Sabre's name, he found he could mute or kick him, making an evil smile creep up on his face.

When all the observers saw this message, they all began to fill the chat with welcomings as well as questions, while Soren's username was pinged with each message they sent, once again filling the chat with spam.

'Son of a bitch!... I should have stayed silent': soren

Soren quickly made a move to stop the constant pings that seemed to start heating up his phone, and sent a single message to the group chat that immediately stopped all the messages from coming.

[: Next person to ping me will be skinned alive and used as cultivation materials! :]: creation god soren

After reading the message, everyone stopped pinging him, but continued to ask questions.

[: Soren, where have you been for the last 10 years? :]: medicine master

[: I was in another realm… Nothing big, but I'm back now, so do you guys mind informing me on what happened over the last 10 years? :]: creation god soren

Soren then began reading as Medicine Master explained everything that happened, and after an hour, Soren had a rough grasp of everything. Soren found out that Song Shuhang had skyrocketed on the path of cultivation and became a Ninth Stage Tribulation Immortal, as well as got himself 3 wives, and one biological kid, while his other was adopted, but the thing about the biological kid, is it's only related to him because his blood was infused with her, while the strangest thing about the kid is that she's a cyborg.

'So Song Shuhang has reached the peak of this realm… I wonder if he is going to ascend': soren

When Soren had gotten back from his trip to Shokugeki no Soma, Ava had given him a notification that he put off for the meantime, but after taking the time to wait for Medicine Master to write out everything, Soren looked into the notification and found out that his scan had been complete, and Soren was informed that there were 4 more realms above the current one they were in.

I have found a total of 4 major realms, and 10,000 smaller realms hidden within this universe… In fact, this realm is the weakest of the 4 others, while all the 10,000 smaller realms are more like pocket spaces that Tribulation Immortals left behind before ascending to the next realm}>

Upon scanning each realm, I found out the name of the realm, along with its level of power… Right now, you are currently in the All Heavens and Myriad Realms… This is the 5th realm, as well as the weakest of all 5, the highest one can reach with the amount of Spirit Energy in the air is Ninth Stage Tribulation Immortal… Next is the 4th strongest realm, known as the Heavenly Way Immortal Realm, where the Tribulation Immortals can call upon the Heavenly Ascension Lightning Tribulation, and as long as they pass, they will ascend to this realm, and the ranks continue as such…

Ninth Stage > Tenth Stage > Eleventh Stage > Twelfth Stage > Thirteenth Stage > Fourteenth Stage > Fifteenth Stage > Sixteenth Stage > Seventeenth Stage > Eighteenth Stage

… But most don't refer to these levels by numerical value, and instead they call them by these names instead…

… Then there is the 3rd realm known as the Divine Dao Immortal Realm, and this realm could look at Earth, and destroy it with a flick of a finger, while the planets there all dwarf Earth by thousands of times, while the smallest planet there is about the size of the sun here… As for its cultivation levels, they are the same as the previous realm in that they don't refer to them in numerical value…

If you are wondering, you are currently at the Creation God level, and on the verge of entering the Destruction God level, while the Destruction God is nothing like the ones from Dragon Ball, as once someone reaches this level, they emit destruction energy from their body, and if not controlled, they will die, so be careful when breaking through… As for the last realm, It is recommended that you learn the laws of Life and Death before coming here… This realm is known as the God Realm, and is by far the strongest realm in this universe, as just a simple palm wave would destroy everything in sight, and the reason you should learn Life and Death laws is because this realm is constantly emitting them, and the constant clashing between the life and death energies will kill you… There are only 3 levels in this realm, and only 4 beings currently reside there, as only they can withstand the constant flow of life and death energy clashing with each other…

<{They are still quite weak, but they would be able to tank a few attacks of a God… It's just that they will be severely injured… I estimate that it will take you around 5,000 years to become strong enough to beat the Gods if you don't mess around, but accounting peaceful relaxation time in worlds with little to no power, you will need around 20,000 years to beat them}>

'Hais… So I can't be a slouch, but I can try to work overtime to get more time for myself… Ava, how can I enter the next realm?': soren

<{It is quite easy, as you can go there yourself… All you need to do is call upon the lightning tribulation, and after going there once, you will always be able to make a portal to come back and forth}>

Soren then decided that it would be nice to say goodbye to the people from the chat group while telling them about the ascension path that would lead them even higher, and upon telling them, everyone began getting excited as they started cultivating more, so they could reach the Ninth Stage, while somewhere in Mad Sabre's house, Song Shuhang held Mad Sabre by his collar, while Mad Sabre was bruised and beaten and holding a white flag of defeat. Song Shuhang was reading the group chat and noticed Soren talking about ascending to a new world, and he thought that it might be interesting, so he decided to try it out later for himself, as he was indeed a member of the death seekers who put their life on the line to further themselves on the dao of seeking death, so Song Shuhang's lightning tribulation was quite something, as those who witnessed it thought they saw a mad man laughing in the face of death. Soren then went and told Gine that he would be out for a few hours, and he would come and get her when he was done, and after convincing her that it was dangerous to be around him with what he was about to do, Soren went out into a desert like wasteland where there was no sign of civilization for hundred of miles, and then he released his aura that began to cover the entire world as the world began shaking and trembling due to the pressure it was under.

[Come at me you stupid World Will!]: soren

Soren said as he looked up in the sky, and saw some dark thunder clouds start to form, and elsewhere, all the hidden cultivators felt fear as they knew that this was the aura of another cultivator, while normal people just thought it was due to an earthquake. And while Soren was calling upon the tribulation lightning, in a whole new realm on it's own, the sky began to blacken as all the cultivators took notice and all stopped what they were doing, as they knew what was happening, and all of them thought it's been quite a long time since someone had ascended, and they were quite interested in who it was. Back with Soren, the clouds began to form a funnel over Soren's head as the dark clouds began to start glowing with a golden color, before Soren was struck once on the head.

[What the hell was that?... Was that supposed to hurt?]: soren

<{That was just the first bolt, and for your information, hundreds of Cultivators before you have died to that first bolt, as this tribulation is meant to weed out the weak who only reached the top from the help of their families… While only the strong and the lucky are meant to ascend to the next realm}>

[I see… then hit me with everything you have!!!!]: soren

Soren was then struck once again, and this time, the bolt seemed to be twice as strong, but it was not even felt by Soren a single bit. Then once again, Soren was hit, and the bolt was twice as strong as the last one, then once more, and again, and again, and soon, Soren was struck 37 times, with each bolt being two times stronger than the previous strike, and Soren felt none of them, as his cultivation level was just too strong for the next realm. After the 37th strike, Soren saw as a golden portal appeared over his head, and then he felt as if a sucking force was picking him up off the ground, as it then took him into the portal, and into the higher realm, and soon, Soren was shot out of the dark funnel in the sky, as his body was shot into the ground.

[Holy fuck!... They really are trying to kill you… If you survived the tribulation, then you are manhandled in such a way that you would die if you were on your last thread… Such a wicked World Will]: soren

Soren said this as he began pulling himself out of the ground, and dusting himself off, but soon he noticed that he was surrounded by a bunch of people, and even though he didn't have a proper concept of the levels of strength, Soren would guess that they were around the Sky Immortal to Peak Immortal level, while one who stood out more, and felt stronger would qualify as a Heavenly Immortal, and just before Soren could speak, the strongest one spoke. He was an old man with long gray hair, and a long gray beard while he had thin gray eyebrows, and he wore a long dark blue robe with black accents, that was being tied together with a black cloth belt, making him seem like one of those ancient cultivators.

[Hello young Tribulation Immortal… My name is Feng Shi, and I am a Heavenly Immortal… Would you mind telling us what it's like in the lower realms, It's been quite some time since any of us have been down there]: feng shi

Upon hearing the old man speak, Soren felt like this old man was too senail to recognise Mt. Tai, but seeing as Soren had just appeared through the Tribulation portal, it would be assumed that he was a fresh Tribulation Immortal, so Soren decided to play nice and answer them.

[Well… You see, young one… You may not know this, but once you ascend, there is no going back until you reach a high enough realm that you can rip open the space between realms, so we are all stuck here until one of us becomes an Immortal King]: feng shi

Soren then had a smile appear on his face, as he now had someone who could answer all his questions, or at least a great amount of them, and all it would cost him was some answers in return, which was quite common.
