However, the rules governing each universe differ, and ROB can only provide three useful things, albeit not the instant cheat advantages the protagonist hoped for. Endowed with the granted powers, the protagonist is transported to another world, inhabiting the body of Petra living in the same year amidst a great war. Now embodied in Petra's soul, our protagonist struggles to survive in this harsh world. But it's not merely survival they seek; it's also about transforming an ordinary existence into a colorful adventure, ultimately becoming a legend.

Eugene Daily

Talking about towers, according to the book, there are 12 towers in the world. Each tower originates from a different location and holds intriguing stories within.

The emergence of a tower occurs when there's a surge of energy leaking into the human world. Typically, there are signs such as natural disasters or blessings of nature occurring around the tower.

Although not physically appearing on Earth, their entrances remain hidden in various locations worldwide, and challengers must overcome these challenges to enter the tower.

Currently, six towers have been completed since the emergence of The First Challenger, which shook the supernatural world. This greatly piques my interest and makes me want to challenge one of them before they're all conquered.

So, when the summer vacation arrives, I plan to ask Lily to accompany me on an adventure to one of the places believed to contain a tower, according to the clues from the book.

"Eugene?" The teacher's voice from the front of the class snapped me out of my reverie. As I glanced in her direction, Mr. Sinohara gave me a look that implied a request not to ignore him during class.

"Sorry, Mr. Sinohara..." I slightly lowered my head, apologizing to him.

Inside the classroom, there was a bit of surprise as I, Eugene, who was known to be quite aloof towards people around me, suddenly heard chatting with a friend. I am handsome, and some girls in the class seem to be captivated by my appearance. They glanced at me with a faint blush on their faces as I spoke.

As I looked around the classroom, my eyes caught some surprised expressions and a few girls who seemed embarrassed. Ah, just the usual, standard reaction.

Suddenly, a girl from the back seat dared to say something. "Eugene, you know, I like your hair. It looks so soft."

I turned to her with a blank stare. "Thank you," I replied shortly, leaving her slightly confused.

"Hi Eugene-kun, do you want to go to the bookstore together later?" another girl asked with a sweet smile.

I smiled thinly, but then shook my head. "Sorry, I have other plans."

Seeing that, several other girls who were previously excited looked disappointed. They knew my reputation as a 'Lady Killer' who wouldn't hesitate to break their hearts with sharp words.

The class continued smoothly, although some girls still occasionally glanced at me hopefully. I chose to stay focused on the lessons, even though the attention from the girls was somewhat distracting.

After the bell rang, I packed up my books and prepared to leave.

"Eugene, wait a moment!" called out a girl with a trembling voice.

I turned to see her with an unchanged expression. "Can I help you with something?"

"Ah, it's nothing... Just wanted to say goodbye," she said with a hesitant smile.

I nodded and replied kindly, "Goodbye, hope you have a good day." After I responded like that, the girl blushed deeply and seemed a bit bewildered as she hurried off in the opposite direction.

After saying goodbye to everyone in the class, I decided to pick up Lily from the next class over. However, before I could get there, I saw her already standing in the hallway with a sweet smile on her face. She was playing with the keychain attached to her hip bag that I had given her when we went out for fun over the weekend.

"Lily," I called out with a gentle smile as I approached her.

"Eugene!" Lily jumped towards me enthusiastically, showing off the keychain attached to her bag. "Look! I bring this everywhere. Thanks again, Eugene."

I smiled at her enthusiasm. "No problem, Lily. I'm glad you like it."

The two of us walked out of the hallway towards the bike parking area. As we walked, I asked, "What are your plans for today?"

Lily grinned. "I thought we could go to the bookstore first, then maybe have lunch at our favorite café."

"I agree, that sounds like a good plan," I replied, recalling how we often spent time together at both places.

We continued walking, joking and laughing, enjoying each other's company as usual. It felt so comfortable being around her, and I felt lucky to have a friend like Lily.

We finally arrived at the bookstore, and we immediately went inside, ready to explore the shelves filled with interesting books.

"Is there something you're looking for here?" I asked as we wandered among the bookshelves.

Lily shook her head. "Nothing in particular, I just like to browse."

We continued to stroll around the bookstore, enjoying our time together and sharing our interests in literature. Until, unintentionally, we ran into someone who annoyed me.

Our steps froze as we crossed paths with a girl who was poorly disguised. Rias, one of my childhood friends, stood in the middle of the bookstore with a comical disguise. She wore a large hat with dark sunglasses, and her clothes were too big for her. She stood out prominently among the other visitors.

"Ah..." I exclaimed in surprise, while Lily covered her mouth with her hand to stifle her laughter.

Rias, clearly taken aback at seeing us, tried to remain calm. "W-what are you doing here?!" she exclaimed awkwardly, trying to cover up her poor disguise.

"I could ask you the same thing, Rias," I replied sarcastically. "And what's that you're holding?" I asked, pointing to the romcom manga she was tightly gripping.

Rias blushed deeply. "Uh, this, um... I, uh, was just browsing!" She tried to explain, but looked very awkward.

Lily murmured beside me, trying to hold back her laughter. "I think this is your favorite manga, isn't it?"

"O-of course not!" Rias quickly denied, but her face grew even redder.

I smiled, enjoying this funny moment. "You know, Rias, you don't need to disguise yourself like this. We know it's you."

"H-how did you know it was me?!" Rias asked in panic.

"Because you're too conspicuous, Rias. Your disguise is truly pathetic," I teased, while Lily couldn't hold back her laughter anymore.

Rias sighed in frustration. "You two are really incorrigible," she complained, tapping her forehead in annoyance. Since the bookstore was quiet and the clerk was asleep, Rias removed her disguise with magic, and suddenly appeared as a beautiful young woman. Her skin was fair, her blue eyes sparkled, and the most striking feature was her waist-length red hair, with a strand sticking up on top of her head, resembling an ahoge.

The last time I saw her, she was slightly shorter than me, but now, with her figure standing right in front of me, my estimate was she's about 172 cm, while I myself am 180 cm tall.

Rias glared at me with a frustrated expression. "Why do you always show up at moments like this?" she sighed, clearly displeased.

I responded with a flat tone, "Coincidence, it seems."

She huffed in frustration. "Of course, coincidence." Her eyes conveyed clear disapproval of my response.

"Hey, since you're here by coincidence, there's something I want to ask," I said, immediately met with a harsh response from this female.

"Why do you always ask me? Aren't there other people you can bother?" Rias snapped irritably.

I shrugged. "Who else can I ask for help so intriguingly other than Rias Gremory?"

She rolled her eyes, clearly annoyed. "You're really..." but before she could continue, I cut her off.

"Come on, I know you're hiding something," I said with a sly smile. "What about the fallen angel you haven't dealt with properly? And what's the deal with the Holy Maiden suddenly appearing in this town, near Issei?"

Upon hearing my question, Rias immediately narrowed her eyes and stared at me sharply. "You really don't know when to shut up, do you?"

I just smiled. "No, I know when to speak, especially when it comes to big issues like this."

"Damn it, Eugene," Rias muttered with a mixture of frustration and surprise. "You really haven't changed."
