"So... What happened to the artifacts?"

Even though it'd been a few hours since Kairen woke up and had a conversation with his brother, Aaron still kept peeking at and examining him from time to time.

"They returned back to normal once you lost connection."

"I don't think they'll ever let me go close to them again..."

Kairen chuckled helplessly.

"Even if they do, I won't!"

"... That's mean."

Kairen had to find a way to persuade the commander and his brother again. 

'What can I do now? Should I just idly sit and wait for SMF to finish the preparation? But well, there is really nothing else to do.'

The war was long over, Philomns was destroyed, Samuel hasn't shown up yet, and everything was calm. Things were actually so peaceful that Kairen sometimes doubted if it was real.

'Will things go well, I wonder.'
