Chapter 7: Running into my arms

I chuckle. So he has a sarcastic side to him as well, huh. " That's right." I say agreeing with him. My tea cup clings against the plate as I put it down. "One last thing, from now on I'll be calling you Alex."

" Understood, Blake." He nods as if what I said was common sense. Something many of my ex-hosts didn't have.

Since we woke up at the crack of dawn, I had time to spare before my CEO duties called me in. I asked what host wanted to do, go out or stay in. He chose to stay in and browse the internet on the phone he found belonging to Alex. I took this time to chat with my host, to observe him as usual. We also had a simple lunch at 11:00. Like that, the hours passed until 11:30, when assistant Jie called.

" We'll be down in a minute." I say as I put down the phone. " Host, it's time to go."

" Okay." He hops off the couch.

While the elevator was going down, I turn to my host.

" Alex."

" Hmm?"

" You need to hold your boyfriends hand, or I'll get lonely." I grin playfully.

" O-oh right. Um here."

I intertwine my fingers around his, pulling him closer to my side.

We walk hand in hand to my car, or rather... it looks like a limousine, but it's not as long as a typical limo. It's in between the two.

" Sir." All three of my subordinates- Mike, the driver, a skilled driver slash bodyguard trained for emergencies; Jean, the bodyguard, ex-special force military whose job is follow me around everywhere protecting me; and assistant Jie, in charge of my everyday personal life and work- greet me.

I nod as Alex and I get in the car. The driver and bodyguard are in the front, with the assistant and us in the back.

" Head to the Seahprie main mansion. We'll drop off Alex first then head to the company."

" Yes, sir."

I start playing with Alex's fingers, they were white , long, and slender.

He started fidgeting, unsure if he should fling his hand away or not. He leans in to whisper, his warm breath blowing against my ear. "What are you doing?" He says as my fingers softly run over his knuckles.

I lean over to whisper back. "I'm touching my lover, is there a problem?" Teasingly, my lips touch his ear.

" Ehem." Blushing, clearing his throat he turns away from me.

After that, for the next peaceful 15 minutes he didn't try to take away his hand from me.

" We're at Mr.Seahprie's house, sir." The driver says.

I step out first and extend a hand to help Alex out. I hold his hand with one hand and pet his hair with the other.

" Remember to ask your father if you can move out to live with me. And message me whenever you want, I'll always answer okay?"

He nods shyly and mumbles, " Got it." softy.

I bring up his hand to my face. Kissing it I say, " I'll see you later, love."

I watch as he goes into the mansion. Turning back to the car I see assistant Jie trying to hold back a huge smile.

" What?" I raise an eyebrow at her.

" Nothing, sir. It just seems you favor Mr.Seahprie." She grins. Oh yeah, she's seen the lovers of Blake come and go. And he's never treated them tenderly as I've done with Alex.

" I do favor him. He's the last lover I'll have in this life." I say getting back in the car. Quite literally since I'm only staying for 5 years in this world.

She follows after me. " I'm glad you've found the one for you, sir."

Schedule recap:

At 1:00 is meeting with the marketing department, lasting an hour and half.

3:30 is a meeting with the our branch company, CEO of Ander Entertainment and it's representatives.

6:40, is a business dinner with CEO of DewllSmith, our recent partner, to celebrate our cooperation on the successful real estate project.

True to my schedule, my day was full of meetings and paperwork. The paperwork was easily completed, but the meetings were annoying. I'd rather fight a dragon than mingle with elites.

I was currently on my way to pick up my host.

After being quiet the whole day, all of the sudden, host mentally contacts me.

' Blake, it shouldn't be long until you come pick me up, right?'

' Ten more minutes until I reach the front gate. Why? Did something happen?'

' I'll explain later. I'm running to the front door now, hurry up please.'

' I'll be there soon, be careful.' I sit up.

" Mike! Speed up!"

" Yes, sir!" He jumps up in surprise, since I've been quiet since the start and then I'm yelling all of the sudden.

In less than five minutes we reach the front of the Seahprie's main household.

I hop out the car before it comes to a full stop in front of the main door. I run up to door.

As I'm about to knock it gets pulled wide open from the inside. Someone rushes into my arms.

" Safe!" He breathes out with a giggle at the end.

Catching his breath, he was about to pull back, but I pull him flush against me. I push his head to my shoulder as I snake my other hand around his slim waist. My eyes dart across the space I can see inside from the front door, but there's no immediate threat.

" Uhh." He takes a second, but eventually wraps his arms around my neck. This made me smile, he's getting more comfortable with my presence and touches. I pull him up, " Woah wait a-" He says as I guide his legs to wrap around my hips.

I walk back to the car with him wrapped up around me like a octopus. I place his ass on the truck. I stand in between his legs as his arms are on my shoulders. " Can you explain to me now?" I say stiffly.
