Walking by Minjoon's side, we enter a large chic and modern high-rise building built with mana reinforced glass and white stones. It was shaped like the letter E, and had 15 floors in total. Everything inside the building was one of four colors; a shade of blue, white, grey, and black. The black was minimal, while most of the furniture, walls, and decorations were navy blue or white.
Blue was chosen as a correspondent of the Guild Masters power. Ice, was his power.
" Guild Master!" A man comes running up to us, beaming with a sunshine like smile.
" What?" Minjoon stoically replies.
Not minding the cold reply of his leader, the man continued. " The newcomers are having their last training session. Vice-leader wanted me to call you over to check which ones you think are good enough to join your team."
" Alright." Minjoon nodded and turned.
" Ah, wait! Um…" He glanced at me with weary eyes. " Who's this man?"
" A friend." Minjoon narrowed his eyes.
" Understood." Seeing his leaders cold aura skyrocket he instantly bowed his head respectfully.
A smirk settles on my face for some reason, as I glance back at the man before I walk after my lover.
We exit the main building and go behind it. In the land owned by the guild, a large dome was built for the members of the Froster Guild to train. We pass through the back gardens as we make our way to the training center.
' The flowers look pretty.' Minjoon mentally tells me as he gazed at the rose bushes near us. His fingers brush past the red flower petals.
I gently grab his arm, bringing him to a stop. " Let's enjoy it for a bit?"
" Later." He shook his head. ' We need to go meet the sister and the male lead.' He telepathically explained.
I nod in understanding. 'We'll come back later.'
' Let's have a picnic in a flower field where the public won't recognize this face.' He hums lightly in a good mood.
' Whatever you want, we can do.' I chuckle.
' Let's bring simple sandwiches, sweets, a ton of pastries, and strawberries. We can go in the early afternoon to enjoy the sun.'
' I'll look for the perfect place.' I ruffle his soft white hair. He leans into my touch, squinting his eyes in happiness.
" So cute." I pinch his cheeks. " Ow." He slaps my hands away. He turned away, huffing, and marched to arena without waiting for me. I crackle as I jog up to him.
He doesn't like his cheeks pinched. I think he has a sort of complex about looking younger and cute because of his original body.
He pushes open the door with no regard to the noise it made, startling those inside.
" Guild Master!"
They all stop what they were doing and nod their heads in respect, as according to Korean customs.
" Hey leader, you're just in time. The selection's going to start soon." A lady holding a sword and in red sportswear walks up to us. " This is?" She questions Minjoon, glancing at me.
" A new member of my team."
" Oh, so there's now two spots left empty on your team." She nods to herself before stretching her hand out to me. " Welcome to the Froster Guild, I look forward to working with you. You can call me Hannah."
" It's a pleasure to be here. I'm Drake Ross, call me Drake." I shake her hand with a professional smile on my face.
" Well, Drake, leader, right this way. We'll be starting soon. The newcomers will be selected by the teams that want them, then they chose the team they want to be in. Duals can be used to test newcomers." She explained walking by my side as she lead us to some chairs situated on the side to observe.
" That's enough. Start." Minjoon interrupts Hannah as she was blabbering about stuff in the guild.
" Yes, sir." Hannah bowed and scurried off to talk to the students, for she was their trainer.
Minjoon looked up at me, face blank yet his eyes spoke miles.
I swing my arm onto the back of his chair as I lean towards him, not touching him but enough for my figure to hover over his. There was no one sitting close to us, so we had space to talk.
" What's wrong, sweetheart?" I whisper.
" Don't get too close to her." He whispers back.
" Of course. As my master wishes." I smirk at him.
" Good puppy." Playing along, Minjoon pats my short hair as he rolled his eyes at me.
" Then this pet expects a reward later. You'll be a good master, won't you?" My voice deepens with desire. I lick my lips as I'm thinking of all the dirty things we can do later. The places in his apartment that I haven't bent him over just yet…
Minjoon flicks my forehead, bringing me out of my daydream. " What puppy? You're a thirsty wolf."
" Aw, but I'm only thirst for you, babe. No one else."
Minjoon rolls his eyes again and let's out a chuckle he couldn't hold back. He brought up his fist to his mouth and pretended to cough to cover up his smile.
' Enough, there's too many people here.'
" Later it is then, you promised. No take backs."
Minjoon turned to me in disbelief at my audacity. " I did not promise any-"
" Ding ding!" Hannah tapped a mic in the center of the hall. " We will be now starting." She kindly informs us with a smile on her face before starting her speech. " Team leaders of Froster Guild, these awakenes have trained their butts off these past four months. They are ready and willing to enter the dungeons. To prove their abilities, we will test them today."
Dropping the smile and becoming stern in front of the ducklings, she shouts at the newcomers. "Candidates, in formation! PVP first, then the leaders will choose potential candidates they wish to have on their team. You may choose to accept or decline any offer extended to you. Today's your debut, make it worth something." She winks at the group while pointing at the cameras surrounding them. This will all be broadcasted on the Froster Guild's TV channel and website.
' Advertising to get investors and the public's favor, smart.' Minjoon expressed his approval.
' Yeah, expect the feed is live, the unexpected-'
' -is to be anticipated.'
' You're looking forward to complications?' I raise an eyebrow in Minjoon's direction.
' Past couple missions didn't have any superpowers or the like, I quite like this mission. Can't wait to explore.'
' Explore the world? … Or the awakenes brains?'
' What???' Minjoon took his eyes off the current mock battle to stare at me in confusion.
' Sorry, I was getting crazy scientist vibes for a second. Never mind~'
Minjoon simply shook his head and sighed. Not even dignifying me with a comment, he turned his attention back on to the arena space. The previous battle had ended and a new one was starting.
" That's your sister." I say out loud. People will start thinking we're crazy, exchanging looks but never talking.
" Yes." Minjoon observes Hwang Ji-Yoon, his sister, as she nervously walked onto stage. She looked around, and when spotting Minjoon she instantly looked down at her feet.
" … This is gonna take some work, Huh?" Minjoon muttered seeing her reaction. " Good thing I'm good with people."
" You are?"
" Well, you would have known had you let me do anything without holding my hand." He glared at me, playfully (I think… hope).
I raise my hands in surrender. " Alright, alright, free reign to you in this mission." It's his third world experience, I should start letting him take the lead in his missions.
" Seriously?" He squints his dark blue eyes at me in suspicion.
" Dead serious." I nod.
" No nagging at me either." Minjoon crossed his arms.
" I'll try."
" Alright~"
" Ack!" A voice interrupts us.
Minjoon quickly stands up, knocking his chair back.
Hwang Ji-Yoon currently had her arm locked behind her, with her face in the ground.
I place my hand on his shoulder when he stepped forward. " Joon, this is her fight, you can't interfere."
" Remember what you just promised?"
" … Okay."
The second I let go, Minjoon walked towards Jiyoon.
