Campsite Dungeon

Ok, so my Dungeon is a single cave, with the entrance right by my core. I can grow some moss. Maybe attract some small animals to feed on it, get some energy, and expand.

"Hey, system, is my Core safe sitting out in the open like this?"

<Affirmative. Humanoid species often take Dungeon Cores, relocating them to an area more convenient for access. This allows Cores to develop at an increased rate, and allows growth of the Dungeon. Your Core cannot be destroyed without direct Divine Intervention>

"Wait, someone will take me from my comfortable, isolated cave and force me into servitude for the masses? Create a single large rock surrounding my core. Ensure it is completely hidden from sight, and cannot be easily moved."

<Materials used.

Materials - 4/5>

Hmmmm. Ok, new idea.

"Grow a thick carpet of moss on the floor, as much as you can with available Biomass."

A small section of moss grew up near my rock, about 2 square meters. Something told me it would make a comfortable bed to lie on. Strange. Where did that thought come from? And what is a bed? Wait, camping! I remember camping. You look for a shallow cave, with a dry and safe place to rest. You also need-

"Create a small circle of rocks near the entrance, with a stack of sticks next to it!"

I felt a strange pulling sensation.

<ERROR. Insufficient Materials>

"Hmmmm. Just the circle of rocks then, if you would."

And suddenly, my small cave resembled a miniature, unused campsite. And now all I needed was someone to come and use it for the night. Free energy! And with any luck, they'd bring wood in for the fire, and leave scraps behind for me to absorb into my system!

And so, I waited.

-

And waited.

-

And waited.

-

And waited...

-

...

-

Seriously? How long do I have to wait? It's been bright and dark 15 times! On the plus side, nobody was bothering me or harassing me. And the system came with this strange game called solitaire. But you could only play the same game for so long before eventually going mad with boredom.

Wait! What was that?

...

Snuffling?

Some kind of creature! Finally! maybe it'll bring me new resources!

A hairy, smelly, mud covered thing entered my cave. It was shaped mostly round, with four legs and a pushed up protuberance on it's face. Weird bone pieces stuck out the sides of it's (mouth?), and it snuffled along the ground, moving unerringly towards my faintly glowing moss.

"What the hell is that thing?"

<New Lifeform Detected. Scanning...>

<Mammalian lifeform - Tusked Wild Boar. Omnivore. Preferred diet - Sweet plants, small insects, scavenger of meat when available>

Ok, so not a humanoid. Wait, sweet plants? Does that mean- DAMMIT!

-

The pig ate my moss. Every piece of it. All that Biomass consumed in a few seconds. Following which it sharpened it's tusks on my stone, and then defecated in the corner. Lovely.

<System notice - .1 Energy gained. 1 Biomass gained>

Ewww no! Don't pick up the pig shit! It's- Wait 1 whole Biomass?

"System Status!"

<System Status>

Yesssss! More Biomass means more things to make. Wait, my Biomass cap didn't lower?

<Negative. As explained, BIOMASS creations will respawn after a short time unless reabsorbed into the Dungeon Core>.

Huh. I guess I should prioritize gaining energy and Biomass from the local fauna then. Maybe I can lure something into the cave and have it live here?
