START OF A NEW LIFE

I was lying on my bed but couldn't sleep because of the nightmares I had since I was a child this dream would never go whatever happened and it always haunted me .

In my dream I could see man moving in the fog at night and I could hear alot of whispers in the fog then after walking for sometime he stops and says some words in Spanish like Open the gates of " LA VIDA DESPUÉS DE LA MUERTE "

meaning "THE LIFE AFTER THE DEATH " and suddenly a giant door ( Their are some words written at the top of the door that I couldn't read because of the fog ) would appear before him and he goes inside then suddenly with a sound of thud the door disappears .

Then suddenly I woke up with cold sweat like always that dream would always haunt me and never leave me alone I never told mom about it because she was always busy with her work and I didn't want to worry her .

So I quickly got up from bed changed into college uniform and went downstairs for breakfast mom was already waiting for me at the dinning table .

Did you sleep well mom asked while passing a plate to me .

Yes mom I had a good sleep last night the bed was really comfy I replied with a faint smile .

Aww that's good I'm do glad you could sleep well so hurry up and complete your breakfast and then I'll drop you at college she said with a bright smile .

Yes mom .

So after breakfast we got into the car and after sometime we finally reached at the college .

Okay honey now you go and do make new friends okay love you she said with a smile .

Yes mom I will and love you to .

Then she left for work .

I was really amazed by the size of the college it was really big and alot of kids my age were roaming here and thier some were rushing inside the college while some were roaming in the garden in front of the college .

Okay Max remember that you have to enjoy your life here and make friends and achieve good grades and make your mom proud of you I said to myself while patting on my back .

So I entered the gates of the college entrance hall and ohh my it was huge so many kids were rushing here and thier and thier I saw a big map at the wall near the entrance door and even the map was really confusing with the help of the map I was able to get to the principals office .

I knocked at the door and went inside the principal asked me to sit and I told him about my new admission so he called a teacher and he sent a girl to the office .

She was really pretty and she came inside with a bright smile on her face then sir asked her to ascort me to my class and she agreed happily .

She looked at me with a big smile and then we went outside the room .

So you are new here she asked with a big smile .

Yes and I'm sorry I had to trouble you next time I'll take the copy of the map .

That map is really confusing she said while laughing and don't worry I was assigned by the teacher to ascort you to class but I couldn't find you there and now I have seen you so it won't be a problem next time .

Ohh I see well thanks I said with a faint smile .

Then after walking in the corridor for sometime we finally reached the class .

Okay so this is our chemistry class we always have our first lecture of chemistry I'm sure you would have the timetable with you she asked while opening the door of the class .

I nodded and went inside .

When the teacher saw me he smiled warmly and asked me to introduced myself .

I nodded in agreement .

Hello everyone my name is Zain Maxwell and I'm from loss Angeles and it's really nice to meet you all .

The class looked at me with weird eyes like I had killed someone so I quitely went towards the back seats and there was oy one seat empty at the back I was about to sit when that same girl waved at me and asked me to come sit with her she was sitting at the front seat .

I was a little hesitant but she really wanted me to sit with her and couldn't say no as she helped me find my class so I agreed and went to sit with her .

She looked really happy and after the lecture ended I was gathering my things and was about to leave but the I remembered that I was new in this place so I tapped gently at her shoulder while she was packing her bag .

Hey sorry again but can you ascort me to my other classes also .

She smiled and said well you see I have a name and you can call me by my name .

Hi my name is Ellie nice to meet you Zain she said while moving her hand forward .

While we were walking in the corridor Ellie looked at me and said so this means we are friends right .

Suddenly I started to laugh I- I'm so sorry I was just kidding off course I'll be your friend after all you helped me a lot today .

She looked at me with a warm smile and then we went to our next class .

It was a long day and at lunch she even sat next to me in the cafeteria while most of the girls and boys gave me weird stares .

What's wrong with them why are they looking at me like that I asked her while sitting on the chair .

Ohh it's nothing it's just that your looks are really attractive and all the girls were amazed when you entered the class and the boys well they are irritated with the attention you are getting but don't worry once they found out you are a good guy they will like you too she said while smiling .

The after lunch we had few more lessons the finally college ended and mom came to pick me up .
