/"You are most welcome ma’am,/" his gaze strayed to Michael who hasn’t said anything, /"can I ask how you came to be in the scene last night Mr. Brown?/"

/"I came to check up on my wife,/" he answered simply.

Hale nodded, /"your statement said you arrived at the time of the gunshot, didn’t you see anyone run out of the house or something?/"

/"When I heard the shot, I thought my wife was in there so the only thing in my mind was to see her, when I ran into the house, she wasn’t there but Craig was on the floor, that was the time she ran in, apparently, she heard the shot too./"

/"I see. Well, Mrs. Brown doesn’t have any suspect in mind which means her life is in danger, who ever that fired the gun last night will come again, he didn’t achieve his aim and will come to finish what he started. I advice you put extra security round the house until we have gotten to the bottom of this./"

Michael nodded, /"I will do just that./"
