Underground (II)

The dusty underground was revealed to my eyes as I crossed the door and entrance. The place itself looked dark and shady but it was really the best place for anything whether it is buying, selling or even entertainment. 

This place is not actually under Avala but on one of the southern islands. The entrances are dark as they hide the magic that teleports us there. The leader of the underground keeps the whole place in harmony and makes sure the dispute is at minimum. 

The leader is a mysterious man that no one knows and has not seen. All the matters are handled by his assistant Alex Hazard. But even he had to take orders from the leader. There are rumors going around about this invisible leader, that he is in a world that doesn't end. But here's the thing: no one really knows the meaning behind it. 

I walk the stairs downwards and officially enter the playground. Walking the same path as I had a million times before, I entered a bar. The intoxicity entered my nose as soon as I entered. It was empty for most part and only little murmurs were heard in the quiet room. 

I go to the bar top and say to the bartender "a secret please." 

He looked up from cleaning and nodded. The drink came in front of me in just mere minutes. I put some gold coins on the bar top. It was more than the drink is worth. The bartender looked at me and raised an eyebrow. 

"Let's see the information in the stars."

"This sir." He was shocked but continued "But you have to tell me your name before I can take you there."

"Kaan...Kaan Mabuz." 

"All right. I will come and get you in a few moments till then please enjoy your drink."

I nodded and the bartender left towards an inside room. I twirled the drink in my hands and just sat there waiting. But the wait wasn't long as the bartender came back with a serious look. I finished the drink in his absence which was not long. 

"Sorry for the wait sir, please follow me."

I get up from the small chair and follow the man into one of the inside rooms. As we enter I look around but I see no one. The bartender headed to the bookshelf and pulled something causing a secret door to open. 

'Leia has made a lot of improvement since the past months.'

I walked towards the hidden room and entered. The whole atmosphere changed as tons and tons of books surrounded me. And there was a single desk in the middle where the guilt master of the greatest information and merchant organization sits.

Leia Barlow of the Nightflags guilt was just sitting there doing her work while the other members were running and taking records and stuff and doing their work in a lot of haste. I moved around and observed the books and records. No one stopped me. 

Even Leia didn't bother to look up from her work. I took a book titled 'Group Name List Volume 5' and started reading. It was the record of all our allies. There are a total of 6 volumes till now. Quite a lot but all the more good and necessary. 

I checked everyone's data and got more insight for the revised plan. 'Edward and Skyler have to be sent to get that. I need to talk to them about this huuuu.' 

Flipping through the record I saw an unfamiliar name.

"Leia, who is Prof. Pride?"

She looked up and saw me, then the book and then continued writing while also replying "A person from the empire who came to ask about you. He said he was your helper."

"I don't know him."

"I know. But he left an address." 

"What is it?"

The short curly Beige brown hair was scratched and the grey eyes looked at me, her tan skin shining under the light. 

"I can't tell you just yet."

I just blankly stared at her. She looked away from me and then looked around and then said "Everyone out."

The next second all the things were left and everyone exited the room. It must have been a huge hassle doing all this but then the members got a little break from the work. Leia got up from the desk and she looked small but that's probably because of the height difference. She stretched and then came to me. 

"So can I ask the question instead of you." 

"I thought you were the guild master who knows everything."

"Even I have to not know thing to learn. Put the book and come with me. You smell like wolves."

She walked off. It's her habit to start a random conversation to just end it randomly. I had no choice but to just follow her. A book was pulled and another room was opened. It was a bedroom but with clothing racks everywhere. A disguise center. 

She took some clothes out and laid them on the bed.

"Change." She exited the room. 

"huuuuuuuuuuu...." I was utterly tired and defeated. 

I changed into this new clothing. It was a simple white shirt and brown pants. The shirt had some white silk thread flower patterns. There was even a robe with it. I ruffled my hair and tamed it as nicely as possible. I looked at myself in the mirror and was satisfied by my looks.

'can't lie she has a good dressing sense.' 

I walked out the room and saw her lean against the book wall. She opened her eyes and looked at me.

"Much better. Now what do you want me to do My lord Ice king?"

I just stood there in utter shock. My allies don't know I am The Ice king and Kaan but somehow most of them had figured it out.

"H-how."

"People can change the appearance but not the voice and as the main customer of my guilt I will never forget your voice my lord." She replied nonchalantly as we walked towards the desk.

'One uses smell, one uses voice and then what my mana? ya probably Edward can. Can I really hide from them....'
