Opening one of the novels I began reading, in my 28 years of life i was always busy with a lot of things but whenever i had any free time with me i read novels, i began reading the last chapter of a novel which was released today.
The novel is set in a world which is at the same level of earth. One night 7 towers appeared in all seven zones or the continents of the planet out of which monsters came and went on a rampage killing everyone present near those, the hot weapons and all were totally useless against those monsters.
There are 100 floors in total and each floor contains millions of monsters which need to be clear.
The gods of the world got bored and instead of fighting against each other personally they decided to use their recipient and give their powers to them in order to compete against each other and clear the 7 towers which were controlled by demons on their opposite.
The world enlarged and other worlds too merged with the planet and along with the towers, gates also emerged which are referred to as dungeons from where different monsters emerged.
Among the game of gods, the demons planned to overtake their rule secretly through this and the game that was just started for entertainment became a serious matter of life and death of everyone in the world.
The protagonist of the novel is a kind hearted man who is too good for the world.
In the last chapter he fought with the final boss and successfully killed him but lost his teammates in the fight. After killing the last boss he was offered by the gods to be like them but he declined it saying.
"I am a human, I lived my life as a human and want to die being the one"
And enjoyed a peaceful life with his heroines.
"Motherfucker"
I cursed reading the ending of the novel it was a really boring and brain dead novel with no good thing at all, I questioned myself why in the first place I started reading this novel. Looking at the reviews and comments all said it was a waste of time.
I closed his phone and looked at the night sky illuminated with stars and a full moon hanging on the top it was a truly mesmerizing scenery and would have been a lot better if there wasn't the rotten smell of dead bodies.
I got up and just as i stood up i found a snake slowly coming towards me, i got startled and tripped on my steps falling directly into the river.
Before me realising i was dragged with the flow of water i was in a panic at first but as i was starting to get drowned I took deep breaths and kept my eyes closed to calm myself down, after my mind was calmed down i stopped my struggle and kept taking deep breath to make my body more buoyant and turning my body to the direction of the shoreline i swam towards it.
It was really hard but thankfully i was near the shoreline, as i got near it i found a branch of a tree ahead and caught it with my hands. With the help of the branch i slowly got out of the water and reached the land.
I coughed up water and took a rest while i was on my back.
After half an hour or so i got up from the ground and looked around, it was near the road surrounded by mountains,
"I am lucky that i didn't get flown into a forest or something"
As i thought how lucky I was I walked towards the highway and saw headlights flashing in the distance.
