"To your left!" A man dressed in red armor yelled, swinging his sword towards his right, allowing his blade to slice the head of a goblin charging towards him.
"Hai!" The woman with long blonde hair responded, in her hand, a blue staff with a white crystal ball at the top. She aimed it at the group of goblins, sending a powerful jolt of lightning towards them.
Behind her were more people dressed in strange outfits, each of them, stabbing and slicing at their enemies. It took them a total of twenty minutes for them to clear out the entire goblins roaming about the area.
Soon, the cave was scattered with the lifeless bodies of these goblins, leaving only the heavy panting of the individuals who had just slane them.
One of them, the man who seemed to be two times the size of everyone present, suddenly said, "Looks like it's all over, did everyone make it alright? If you're injured, speak up before we move further".
"Yes, I think…".
"I'm fine".
"Eh? What about the kid? Wasn't he just with us? Or am I missing something?" A lady asked, looking left and right as she desperately searched for one missing individual in their midst.
"Shit! You mean the computer dude? You've got to be kidding me!" Another dude with a galax haircut raged, slamming his staff on the wall, "I knew we shouldn't have brought him along… where the hell did he go too?!".
"Let's be calm, he couldn't have gotten far not to speak of running into a monster"
….
"Ahhhhhh!!! Stay away from me!!!" Kim Jung cried, running as fast as he could, his feet sped against the ground, while he hugged his bag close to his chest, fear hitched on his face.
He had black long hair and unusual dim golden eyes that seemed almost out of this world. Wearing a tracksuit and red slippers, he slid on the ground, hiding behind a yellow glowing crystal that grew from the ground.
Panting, Kim rested his back on the crystal, his eyes closed as he made sure not to make a single noise.
He and his party were in the middle of their dungeon raid when Kim suddenly found himself lost. He tried getting back, but then ended up in a situation where he had no idea how he was going to get out of it.
Bang!
The sound echoed in his ear, causing him to flinch in fear while the falling rocks hitting the ground continued to echo.
'Breathe! Breathe! Breathe!' Kim whispered in his mind. Slowly, he began to peep, ready to take a look at what was following behind him. The moment his eyes caught hold of the huge snake looking beast, he pulled back again, his chest heaving even heavier.
'Yeppp! That was definitely the boss, I'm screwed!' Kim covered his hand with his mouth, making sure to hide his little shrieks.
'I should have stayed with the team'.
The cavern echoed with the faint drip of water from stalactites above, creating a chilling ambiance. The giant snake, its sleek body coiled like a deadly spring, moved with a sinister grace.
Each sinuous motion sent tremors through the earth, while its iron scales emitted a low, ominous scrape against the rocky floor. As it prowled, its forked tongue flicked out, tasting the air for any hint of its prey. Then, just as it prepared to make another silent turn, it caught sight of Kim's leg protruding slightly from behind the shimmering crystal.
The realization dawned on Kim like a heavy weight settling in his stomach.
'Shit!' He immediately pulled his legs back in.
Fear gripped him, paralyzing his movements as he watched the predator's calculating gaze fix upon him.
His heart pounded against his ribcage, the sound deafening in the oppressive silence of the cave. Desperation clawed at his mind, urging him to flee, but his limbs refused to obey. All he could do was huddle against the cold stone, hoping against hope that he would remain unnoticed.
The silence grew even louder, but even a fool at the moment could tell if they waited any longer, they'd be dead.
Without thinking twice, Kim grabbed his bag and was ready to flee into the small inner cave he had spotted just a few minutes ago. Just when he was willing to jet up from the ground and run for it, it appeared-
The head of the giant snake suddenly popped out of the side of the crystal, both their eyes met, predator to prey. Kim, stunned, froze up in fear as his limbs refused to move even though the monster he had been trying to escape from was already positioned near him.
'Move!' He yelled in his mind, 'Run! Run! Run!!! If you don't run you're dead! So run! Why aren't you Running!'.
With precise speed, the snake beast opened its mouth and launched itself towards Kim. It was so fast, Kim could barely tell until the tip of the snake's fangs was close to his head.
With his eyes widened in both fear and confusion, he uttered, 'I'm dead'.
And almost immediately, another voice echoed from behind him.
"You idiot! Duck!!!"
His body reacted, for that brief moment, Kim knew what he had to do. He pushed his head back, bending his knees for his body to collapse to the ground while he watched the snake's head speed past him.
The man who had called out to him, was standing at a far distance, a spear swarmed with energy was grasped in his hand, ready to be launched.
"Gooo… Samirapharus!!!"
Booooooom!
The spear was sent flying towards the snake. All it took was one hit, and the head of the snake was split into two while its body went slamming against the wall.
With the spear still connected to the head of the snake, its body began to disintegrate and all that was left of it in a few seconds was a red crystal that fell from its corpse.
"Kong! Are you alright?!"
From the side of the cave, more of the man's friends showed up, running as fast as they could to catch up to him.
The man laughed a bit, "Yeah yeah, I'm good. Can't believe I just one shot a E ranked boss monster like it was nothing".
"Damn bro, you could have just waited for me you know…. You even used my spear." The galax dude pouted, running towards his spear to pick it up and also the red drop that just happened to be in front of him.
"That's crazy though, one shotting a monster that's roughly the same rank as you, Kong, you're amazing." The woman spoke, looking around to read the cave even more.
"Hehe~" Kong scratched the back of his head with a nervous laugh, "What can I say? I just wanted to help the kid I guess".
"Oh right the kid, where is he though?" Another woman asked, slowly shifting her gaze at where Kong pointed to.
There, she could see Kim, seated on the ground, his head facing the ground and his hand covering his face. His mind was a rollercoaster of emotions as he knew he was so close to dying and yet, he couldn't do a single thing about it.
Before she could move from where she was to approach him, a sudden blue shining template showed up in the middle of the dungeon.
[The G-67 dungeon has been cleared, dungeon will be erased, in 5…4…3…2…1]
With a flash of light, every single person who was present in that dungeon suddenly found themselves standing outside, surrounded by trees and bushes. Right in front of them were small energy waves, indicating that a dungeon was once there.
