~~Inside Lei Jin's Inner Domain~~

"Master, we were able to finish the number of worlds required for the second World Array. However, we are not able to manipulate any connections between them ourselves. Instead we added half the number of worlds to another location that Master had previously shown this Disciple. And then spent most of the remaining time working on our own cultivations while helping our disciples in their cultivation." The eldest Disciple reported upon seeing her master reappear. 

"You've done well. I have a few things for you and the younger ones to witness. Xiao Ling and Xiao Dan are going to break through to the rule of 4s. However, as they are still weak and the Limitless Heaven Realm is new. I will be supporting their stability. You must all comprehend this mystery of reaching into the new rules. It won't be as easy as you think. You may learn whatever you can from this example and then you'll truly be able to push forward." Lei Jin said, motioning his hand for the two Xiao sister's to choose the best spot for themselves. 

"Master, it seems we have more brothers and sisters. Are they also like Sister Xiao Ling and Sister Xiao Dan?" The Second Eldest Disciple asked. 

"They are indeed. But I won't be performing the same method again. I only did it this time to see if it would be enough to help the other two break through. While it was ineffective. It was not their fault. After all, none of them saw me break through. So how could they help another? But in the end I have more precious little children. All of whom will grow into their own and become masters of the Limitless Heaven Realm." Lei Jin said, patting a couple of their heads. 

"Then… That means we can discuss the Dao with them as well! This truly is fortunate. With more peers we might finally figure out what our problem is." The 3rd disciple said, excited. 

"Oh? If you still have the problem after watching your sisters perform their breakthrough. I will… No, your sisters will answer the question. I'm positive that once they reach the rule of 4s they will discover the remaining profundities for themselves. If they can not answer, then I will do so." Lei Jin said. 

"Daddy! I'm ready to begin!" Xiao Ling said with a big happy smile. 

"I am too, Daddy! I'm going to break through now! Yay!" Xiao Dan said, excitedly. 

"Good! Then begin!" Lei Jin said.

Immediately after Lei Jin spoke, the two girls' auras became highly unstable. It was clear that they were experiencing a truly terrifying event. However, it was indeed how one was supposed to change the rule upon which they were using. 

"This… all of the links between their worlds have been severed. And they are using their strength to reestablish a new set of links." The youngest of the four disciples said. 

"It's like how master did it. But with such a small number of Worlds, it is much easier to follow what is happening." The Eldest Disciple said, paying close attention. 

~~Several Days Later~~ 

"Xiao Ling has finished completing the links of her first ring. The four worlds are in perfect sync with each other. And… I feel a familiar energy forming from the center of the four. I wonder… could this actually be the secret!" The Second Disciple said, with a look of surprise. 

"Don't be too excited. Until we confirm it really is that thing there will be no way to know for certain. That said, it is quite interesting that it might be that." The 3rd disciple said. 

Xiao Ling and Xiao Dan were tied with each other. In terms of speed that is. Xiao Ling still had 2 more worlds to deal with than Xiao Dan but it didn't matter much in the long run. The second ring of worlds had completed. Followed by the 3rd. They didn't have enough worlds to complete the 4th ring. The rule of 3s is a 1 to 3 ratio. While the rule of 4s is a 1 to 4 ratio. So where they had each ring of worlds it was four times more each time as opposed to the three times they had prior. 

The two finished aligning their other remaining worlds in the fourth ring. Not filling it completely of course but, they still had to start the process anyways. Once they finished their auras became stable and profound. However, they were… noticeably different. Like they were stronger but had to trade endurance as a result. 

"Daddy? Why is it I feel like I won't be able to use my power for as long? I'm definitely stronger but I feel… weaker at the same time." Xiao Dan asked, a little confused.

"The simple answer is that your overall strength didn't increase. You only made an exchange. This Realm functions vastly differently compared to the others. When you go up to a higher rule, you'll be able to more freely use your strength but it will last a shorter amount of time. To truly increase your strength you can only continue to add worlds and let them prosper. Aside from that. There is no way to increase your strength. But! Each rule has an upper limit of worlds you can have in a world array formation. So no matter what you will eventually reach a point where it is essential for you to advance to a higher rule." Lei Jin explained. 

"So that's why we were unable to fit the other worlds into the Array properly before breaking through." Xiao Ling said, understanding the situation. 

"Master… Disciple would like to try to advance to the rule of 4's." The four disciples requested, cupping their hands and bowing their heads. 

"Just like there is an upper limit, there also is a lower one. You have not refined a minimum of 84 worlds with at least 4 reaching the 9th rank equivalent. And that's just to reach the rule of 4s. So for the four of you it is not possible. I know you have been making an active effort. But unless you can successfully fill three rings you will not be able to handle nor manipulate your strength freely. And will instead suffer catastrophe." Lei Jin explained. Letting his disciples' hopes down easy while giving them the requirements.
