EXTRA CHAPTER!

After meditation I started training with an open mind. Nature is like another home to me. I find all elements more beautiful than dangerous. I love nature for its uniqueness. Green leaves, tiny snow flocks shining in the sun, rainy days when the fall begins, the first flowers of the spring – everything is dazzling and so unlike anything else you have ever seen and will ever see in this life!

When the sun is shining, the birds are singing and the world seems to be absolutely carefree! There's nothing more compelling than a starry night, fresh air that has the smell of flowers, the sparkling water, fascinating fire under which best stories have been shared, the long grass dancing along the bird's chirps and the alluring diamond trees. No matter where I am as long as it is with nature I will always calm down.

I trained until nighttime and only came home for dinner when I was starving. I ran back while jumping over obstacles and climbing trees. When I reached home my mother was setting the dinner table for me. I washed up and sat on the table in new comfy clothes. "You are only 9 years old, you know? Working hard like this is not what someone your age should be doing. You should play and make friends. Talking to you makes it seem like I am talking to an old woman, not a little girl." My mom started nagging.

"If I am an old woman then what are you mom?" I joked. "Very funny." She said sarcastically. But it is true I am more advanced than kids my age. Everyone used to say it was because I was a genius, now they say it's because I am an abomination. I don't mind though I think I am an abnormal genius and those people who sneer over me are idiots.

MWAHAHAHAHA! I did an evil laugh in my head. "Stop making creepy faces and eat." My mom told me. I made a goofy face and started eating. I soon noticed the food mom prepared was a perfect diet that I needed if I was exercising. I thanked her and we ate merrily.

A year went by. I trained, learned new skills(cooking, drawing, biology etc.). I even started socializing again. Although most people hate or look down upon me, I don't care. Dillon and I hang out much more and our friendship has also gotten much better than before. Joe the blacksmith and Maple, the daughter of the owner of Creamy Dream, the best restaurant in town, are also my friends.

Octavia has caused some trouble in the past year but we beat every single one of her schemes. I have gotten stronger and improved much more than any of the supers. I have my 10th birthday in a few weeks, that means it is time for the….

RE-TEST!!

There is a re-test that is going to happen in front of the academy officials. If they are intrigued by you they can accept you powerless or not. In the entire history never has a powerless person ever been accepted excluding the fact that most don't even try. I am going to change that and get accepted into an academy. This is why my new training regime is more intense.

In my training I boost my physical and mental abilities. I do exercises to increase my agility, strength, stamina, speed and intelligence. I work under the most severe weather and learn to survive most elements. My training is labeled as 'Torture' or 'Inhuman' by anyone who learns of it. I often burn, electrocute, drown or bury myself to hone my body against such situations.

Dillon believes I am crazy to think this will work but she has no idea of my improvement. I can be labeled as above human and even defeat low level super! I will get into an academy to support my mother and prove others wrong about the powerless. I am Zero not because I don't have a specific element, It is because I can defeat all elements! I am proud to be Zero.

With the motivation of my thoughts I started doing 100 more push ups. I WILL BE NO.1!!!
