Oasis navigated through his conscious realm via his spiritual avatar, searching for the source of Azura's energy.
His conscious realm was a peaceful place with beautiful mountain peaks and waterfalls flowing, with the big blue flames nourishing it.
Oasis could now accurately sense Azura's energy near the big flame.
As he approached the flame, he saw, just at its root, Azura's spirit essence trapped and being nourished by the flames slowly.
It was a sight to behold.
"What does this mean?" Oasis thought. "Can Azura be reborn, or can I absorb that?"
"I thought Azura's remnant had dissipated," Oasis questioned himself.
After a few hours, he exited his conscious realm, concluding his cultivation. The area frequently shook from the battle a distance away.
"Wow, she is sleeping peacefully despite the commotion outside," Oasis thought as he looked at Aya, who was sleeping peacefully.
Maybe she slept this peacefully because she felt safe around Oasis, or it was just the way she was.
Oasis slightly clenched his fist as his thoughts focused on the battle ahead.
"They have been at it for hours now. I don't think waiting for them to exhaust themselves will suffice," Oasis thought.
"It means that mystic beast is definitely protecting a treasure. Why are they so resilient?" Oasis pondered as he started moving.
Oasis used his wind magic to create a barrier that enveloped the camping area, leaving Aya safely inside.
"You will be safe here," Oasis thought as he moved toward the mountain with determination.
Oasis used the Dancing Phoenix technique, moving at incredible speed, leaving only a blur and a trail of blue flames in his wake.
!!!
"Something is approaching very fast," one of the two men thought.
As he slightly lost concentration, it seemed they had not detected Oasis's divine peak before.
Maybe it was due to their focus on the battle or their unstable cultivation, from Oasis's perspective.
The beast hit him with its tail, sending him flying toward the exit with such force that he was propelled through the air without control.
The beast they were fighting was a massive salamander, a B-rank mystic beast.
Its scales were like molten rock, and it exuded a terrifying presence, with flames flickering around its body.
The two men were dressed similarly to Shiro and Kagame, indicating they were part of the same group.
!!!
Oasis became alert as the person hit by the tail flew towards him, unable to control the force applied by the salamander.
From a distance, the man realized Oasis was closing in.
"He's just a brat. I'll use him to stop myself," the man thought, his killing intent now targeted at Oasis as he tried to unleash his energy to control himself and launch at Oasis.
Oasis felt the killing intent directed at him.
Without hesitation, he unleashed his mana, ready to cast his spell.
The other person could feel the change in Oasis's aura, sensing his killing intent.
"Brat, you're courting death. You're just a mere Tabula-Rasa realm; your spells will just tickle me," the man thought.
"Earth Magic: Death Spike,"
Oasis unleashed an earth magic spell for the first time, recalling what he studied about the use of earth mana and magic during his theory studies at Verdantial Academy.
But the spell he used was his own creation.
The magic unleashed a big spinning spike that absorbed the surrounding heat at its tip.
!!!!
"Damn, this is no brat," the man thought as he was launched towards the big spike.
Oasis passed through the man, leaving the spike behind him.
He didn't even look back as he continued moving toward the salamander, his speed unchanged.
The man saw a trail as Oasis passed him.
"Blue flames!" the man thought, shocked, looking at Oasis as he looked back where he was heading.
!!!!
Sqwelp!!!
His body launched towards the spike, stabbing him directly in the chest with blood spurting out and flowing through the spike.
"Dam... dammi... dammit," he spoke, losing his last breath.
Oasis continued his charge, unwavering, as the battle with the salamander loomed ahead.
"I cannot die like this," the man thought as he unleashed his spiritual energy, making his spiritual avatar exit his dying body.
"I will take over your body, brat! Ha ha ha!" the man spoke as his spiritual avatar floated towards Oasis.
!!!
"What's that?" Oasis thought as he stopped moving, seeing the spiritual avatar of the man coming towards him.
Oasis tried punching it as it moved at high speed, but his fist passed through the spiritual avatar, which then entered Oasis's head and thus his conscious realm.
!!!
"Whoa, what is this conscious realm?" the man thought as he got a glance at Oasis's conscious realm.
"That must be the core of this brat's realm," the man thought as he headed towards the big flame.
He stood near it, unleashing his spiritual energy to try to take over as he touched the big flames with his hands.
!!!
"Haaa!!!!" the man screamed,
"What's going on? I'm being absorbed!" he thought as, instead of him absorbing Oasis, he was being absorbed by the flames.
He made his last scream as his spiritual avatar dissipated and was fully absorbed by Oasis's conscious realm, leaving nothing.
"Did I just absorb that guy?" Oasis thought.
"He was trying to take over my body."
!!!
"What are these memories?" Oasis thought as he saw the memories of the man.
In the man's memories, these people came from a guild called the Starfall Consortium from Emberfall Kingdom.
They were sent by their guild master into Tir Na Nog to get the four greatest treasures of Tir Na Nog:
the Moon Blooming Lotus, the Pond of Eternal Youth, the Salamander Heart Lotus, and the Grimoire of Space.
Eight of them were sent to this place, all at the advanced stage of the Awakened Realm.
They used a technique to temporarily reduce their cultivation levels so they could enter Tir Na Nog, and they were all in groups of two.
"Starfall Consortium," Oasis thought, as it was the first time he had heard about it, and it was from a different kingdom.
