Oasis and Elder Tyron continued their conversation, Zane felt a pang of self-doubt.
"Is my age just for show? I'm older than him, but it seems I'm the younger one," he thought, observing the exchange between Oasis and the Elder.
The carriage moved swiftly, the equinores pulling it at an incredible speed, making the landscape around them blur into a seamless motion.
The runes on the carriage glowed softly, absorbing mana from the environment, ensuring a smooth and comfortable ride.
Elder Tyron turned to Oasis with a thoughtful expression. "Oasis, I have a gift for you. Ask me one question."
Lancelot's eyes widened slightly, his thoughts racing. "Asking a question from an Enlightened Realm cultivator? This kid's luck is incredible."
Oasis took a moment before asking, "What do you know about the True Yang Body Constitution?"
Lancelot's expression shifted to surprise, his brows furrowing.
"True Yang Body? I've only heard about it," he thought, a mix of curiosity and bewilderment on his face.
Zane, too, was taken aback. "What is a True Yang Body?" he wondered, his thoughts mirroring Lancelot's confusion.
Elder Tyron's reaction was immediate.
His eyes widened briefly in surprise before he quickly regained his composure.
"What did you just say?" he asked, his voice calm but intense.
"I don't know where you heard about it or read it from," he continued,
"but I've lived for 500 years and have never encountered anyone with that body."
"However, two things are said about those who possess the True Yang Body."
He paused, allowing the gravity of his words to sink in.
"It is said they cannot use water-related techniques and spells. Their fire techniques once they are awakened, cannot be extinguished, only sealed."
"If they reach a high realm, their fire can rival that of an Elder Fire Dragon or a Phoenix. Additionally, they are resistant to any fire-related techniques."
"Does such a person even exist?" Oasis asked.
"If I get stronger, I can even scorch a dragon. Not bad," he thought, knowing in his heart that he possessed the True Yang Body.
"The world is vast," Elder Tyron continued, "so I believe we cannot create a story from nothingness."
"Rumors come from something, and even if they are exaggerated, there is truth in them."
Oasis met Elder Tyron's gaze steadily.
"Out of everything you could have asked, why did you ask about that?"
"You could have asked something that could enlighten you or make you stronger," Elder Tyron remarked, a hint of curiosity in his tone.
"Just curious," Oasis replied calmly, maintaining eye contact with Elder Tyron, his expression serene and thoughtful.
Lancelot watched the exchange, still reeling from the unexpected depth of Oasis's question.
The weight of the conversation lingered in the carriage as they continued their journey, the swift movement of the equinores propelling them closer to Verdantial Academy in Luminaris City.
Three days passed as they traveled, and they finally reached Luminaris City.
Surrounded by a vast, shimmering lake, Luminaris City was a sprawling, vibrant metropolis.
Even from a distance, the hustle and bustle of the city were visible, with wooden boats navigating the waters and people moving about in throngs.
The carriage moved across a grand wooden bridge that connected the land to the city.
The sound of the wheels on the wood mixed with the distant calls of merchants and the chatter of the city's inhabitants.
"Finally, we've arrived. This city is beautiful," Zane said, taking in the view.
Oasis nodded in agreement, equally impressed by the sight.
Elder Tyron wasted no time.
"Both of you, get out. We've reached your destination. The academy is in the heart of the city," he instructed, his tone firm.
"Don't look at me like that. Move." He turned to Lancelot. "Lancelot, we are heading back to Lunalith."
"Yes, Elder," Lancelot agreed as Oasis and Zane were unceremoniously dropped at the entrance of the city.
Without hesitation, Lancelot and Elder Tyron departed, leaving the two young men to fend for themselves.
"Damn it, that old man," Zane muttered.
"Let's get moving," Oasis replied, urging Zane forward.
The marketplace was alive with activity. Vendors shouted their prices and sales, trying to attract customers with the promise of good deals and unique items.
"Don't worry, they'll be fine. We must not pamper them too much."
"If it weren't for the incidents happening in the kingdom, we would have ditched them halfway and left them to reach here alone,"
Elder Tyron said to Lancelot as their carriage made its way back to Lunalith.
Back in the city, Oasis and Zane walked through the huge city gate, presenting their token passes to the guards.
"Luminaris... Father said this city isn't under any of the great families," Zane explained to Oasis.
"It's owned by the Lumina Family. The Lumina family is on par with the Evergreen family in terms of strength."
"They monitor the great families and are very powerful. It's said that in the academy, your background doesn't matter. Only your talent and skills speak for you."
"Oh, not bad," Oasis replied, intrigued.
After hours of walking and talking, they finally reached the entrance of the academy.
The Verdantial Academy was separated from the city by another expansive lake, adding to its grandeur.
"We've been walking for hours already. How big is this city? It reminds me of Sylvaneth City," Zane said, exhausted.
"No guards, interesting," Oasis thought as they approached the gate and noticed the absence of guards.
Thump!
Zane, who was slightly ahead, bumped into an invisible barrier at the entrance.
"Damn it! Why didn't anyone warn me?" Zane exclaimed, rubbing his forehead.
Calmly, Oasis removed the token they had received from the academy and presented it at the barrier.
With a faint shimmer, he was allowed access. Zane followed suit, and the barrier permitted him entry as well.
Inside, the academy was bustling with activity.
Disciples moved about on various errands, the layout of the academy sprawling and intricate.
The buildings were majestic, with large courtyards and open training areas.
Pathways lined with trees and flowering plants created a serene atmosphere, contrasting with the energetic vibe of the Discliple.
"This place is massive," Zane remarked, his eyes wide with wonder.
Oasis's gaze shifted to the distant mountain peaks visible within the academy grounds.
"Mountain peaks?" he said, astonished.
"Why does this place look way bigger than the city, but it's inside the city? How is it possible?"
Zane shook his head, equally bewildered.
"It must be some sort of spatial manipulation or an illusion. I've heard of powerful formations that can create vast spaces within smaller areas."
