Time had passed by and a lot had happened in two weeks

His eyes never left the area, but doubt started to creep in upon seeing no movement. 'I could have sworn I sensed it moving there!' But reality seemed to have played out differently. No matter how long he waited, no movement appeared, and he had no choice but to sheathe his sword.

"Come on! Let's keep moving!" he commanded with a frustrated groan. He kept glancing back at the area as they left, 'Hmpf! I won't let you slip through my finger again!' he vowed. 

His eyes sparkled with determination. 

The group disappeared into the darkness of the tunnels. Unbeknownst to them, right beside where Solen had lashed out and pierced the rock walls, a pair of yellow eyes appeared, inches away from the holes, before scurrying away.

The whole beast seemed camouflaged against the wall and did not look like a beast at all. If Solen were here, he would be astounded by the beast's camouflage ability. No wonder they were not able to find it!
