prologue: How it all started?

It was dark, as somebody painted the whole sky black. As far as eyes could see there was nothing but runes of buildings. The ground was painted in red with the blood of all the dead bodies laying around as the last human, Shiva was on his knees with a whole in his chest spurting blood from his mouth, in front of him stood the great asura RAHU. As Shiva was almost at the end of the rope, Rahu smirked and said, "what is it like to die as a mere insect that you are? ".

Shiva coughed and remembered about the day when it all started, it was very normal day, the sun was up and he was dashing off towards his office as he was getting late for work when suddenly the sun was blocked by a thick blanket of dark clouds, it was like somebody had found and turned off the switch of the sun. As Shiva was trying to understand what was happening when a crack suddenly appeared from between the clouds. A swarm of monsters started coming out after a loud rumbling of clouds. They started killing any and everyone they saw, before any one could understand what was happening, half of the people in the sight were gruesomely killed and half started screaming and running in panic.

Shiva started running towards the most safest place that came in his mind at that time, and that was the nearby lord Shiva's temple, to his surprise he was true and the Asuras couldn't come near the temple. But it was not just him along who had this idea as the temple was filled to brim with people. As he was starting to relax suddenly a projection appeared in front of everyone and that projection was of the great lord, the destroyer of all, Lord Shiva himslef. Everybody present there were at daze but at the same time they could feel the majestic and sacred aura coming from the projection, everyone kneeled down with there hands joined together muttering, "Har Har Mahadev". As the Lord started speaking everyone got silent as it was natural for them to do so and the voice of the lord was like a warm breeze in the middle of a winter night it was so soothing as it made you felt like you were a baby in your mother's arms.

When everyone came back to there senses lord said, "I know you all are confused and in pain because I can feel it, I can feel it all" As he continued, he further he explained that the beings that evaded our land through the crack were the army of the great demon Rahu who is the king of all demons and wants to rule the whole universe. And the lord also told us that it was not just happening in Bettiah but was happening all around the world and nearly half of the human population was wiped out from existence.

Further he told us that for the sake of humanity he will bestow upon mystic powers to some people to fight against the Asuras and called them RAKSHAKS, They could increase there power through training and killing Asuras. As time passed Rakshaks started taking back human territory and after few years humanity stabilized. Rakshaks who should be protecting the humanity became drunk on power and started fighting among themselves. Humanity was divided into many factions ruled by many powerful Rakshaks and started fighting their own battles but it was a reckless move and when they realised it was already too late.

humanity completely fell when the second wave came which consisted of the great asura Rahu and 7 Saptas who served directly under him. As they cut down everyone present in there eyesight the last man standing was the greatest Rakshaka, Shiva. He had a fierce fight with the the great demon but was defeated easily.

The great demon shouted, "Are you still alive? , did you hear what I just said?." Shiva open his eyes and saw the hole in his chest. He realised that all he did was for naut, he thought there were many things he could have done better. As he was thinking of all his regrets, he clenched his teeth and gathered all his remaining power and blasted it all on Rahu but to his surprise it didn't even left a scratch. He looked up and saw the face of Rahu, there was a large grin across his face as if he was saying, "was that all? ". Shiva sied and said," Is this the end of us? "as he crumbled in the ground due to over using his mystic power.
