Unexpected Encounter
Year 1790, where vampires ruled the four lands. In a world where vampires and humans tried to live together in harmony, things were always bound to change and some things were always bound to remain the same. Like how humans will always be the number one blood source for the vampires. In the land of Woodlensia walked a girl, her big blue eyes looked ahead of the dark alley as she hurried her steps so she could get home quickly. The night was dark and quiet. She heard something hit the ground behind her and turned to see nothing, she sighed to herself before turning ahead of her only to hit something or someone.
"Look who we have here," said a man who appeared before her.
"What a beauty," said another man who she had not noticed before.
'Vampires.' Thought Lana to herself. Even though it was dark she could tell the men were vampires seeing how fast they moved. One of them was taller than her and one was just about her height.
"Why don't we have some fun before we go, I mean look at her," said the who had just appeared. He seized her up and down, "It would be a waste letting the beautiful lady go just like that." Lana felt her heart sink knowing the meaning behind the man's words but the question was how she was going to escape from them. She took a few steps behind while cautiously looking at both of them.
"Don't worry it's going to be fun." Said the tall guy while taking slow steps towards her.
Lana knew she was going to end up dead if she didn't think fast but again what was she supposed to do she was nothing but a weak human and she didn't stand a chance against these vampires. She looked at both men as they continued walking towards her. She turned around, running away from there. She ran as fast as she could as her life depended on it, she continued to run without glancing behind her. After running for what seemed like forever, she stopped to catch her breath, her hands were on her knees as she grasped for air, she heaved a sigh of relief when she looked back to see that no one was chasing her. She raised her head only for her neck to be gripped tight.
"Thought you could escape from us, how naïve." The man laughed.
"Please let me go," Lana pleaded as she tried to remove the man's hand from her neck.
"We will, that's if you're willing to cooperate with us." The tall man said while running his hand across her face.
"My beautiful lady don't worry you'll be fine," The short man said sarcastically as he sniffed and touched her hair, he licked her face, pressing his body against hers. Lana felt disgusted and helpless, she wished they would just kill her and spare her the torture but she knew that was just her wishful thinking.
"Please please let me go..." a sob broke out at the end.
The man brought his lips next to her ears saying, "why are you so eager to get away from us, I said we were not going to hurt you yet here you are asking me to let you go." Anger could be detected from his voice and he got more infuriated seeing her tears. He tightened his grip around her neck before pushing her down on the dirty ground. He hovered above her and started kissing her face while the other man stood by the side laughing as he watched the scene that was unfolding in front of him. Lana tried to push the man away but her efforts were useless. Just when she was about to lose hope, the man on top of her was yanked and sent flying before he fell on the ground. The other man went to attack the man who had suddenly appeared out of nowhere but the man easily dodged the attack and reaped the short man's hand from his body which had the man screaming in pain.
"Weaklings," said the man with a chuckle .
"Now scram before I reap your heads off." The two men quickly fled the place without even glancing towards the girl.
"Are you alright?" asked the man as he looked at the frightened girl. Lana was brought out of her thoughts after hearing the man speak. Getting up from the ground, Lana forced her scared self to speak,
"I-I... am fine Sir."
"These lands aren't safe for a young girl like you to be moving around at night," the man's slightly deep voice filed the quiet alley and Lana felt herself getting drawn to it. He moved to stand in front of her which had her heart going wild. "care to let me know where home is my dear?"
