"Ms. Bai," Nie Shufen's voice caressed the air, causing Bai Shihan to startle slightly at his unexpected call. Her heart raced for a moment before she managed to regain her composure.

"OH MYY!! You startled me, Mr. Nie," Bai Shihan exclaimed, a nervous chuckle escaping her lips as she let herself relax.

"I am sorry. I really didn't mean to, Ms. Bai," Nie Shufen's apology was quick, his sincerity evident in his tone.

"It's alright. Why were you looking for me, Mr. Nie?" Bai Shihan inquired, curiosity lacing her words.

"Oh! I almost forgot. Actually, earlier when I had a talk with the director, he said that instead of shooting the trailer again, he would like to go with the same one," Nie Shufen's voice carried a hint of excitement, his words piquing her interest.

"But.." Bai Shihan hesitated, her thoughts momentarily clouded.

Nie Shufen picked up on her uncertainty, his keen observation not missing a beat. "Don't worry. Actually, the company had already made the announcement of the female lead being replaced. So, people are quite curious about the new actress. The director decided to use the same clip, but with a few hazy glimpses of your face. Since you are so beautiful, people will be curious about the new female lead, and it will help us capture more audience attention. So, he would like to ask you if you are willing," he explained, his voice carrying genuine eagerness.

Bai Shihan felt her cheeks warm, a rosy hue painting her features as she processed his words. 'Did he just say I am beautiful?' she pondered, a shy smile tugging at her lips, her own self-doubts momentarily forgotten.

Nie Shufen couldn't help the rush of adrenaline coursing through him. 'Oh God, save me! She is so beautiful, and now she is blushing,' he thought, inwardly flustered. His gaze remained fixed on her, his usual composure replaced by a look of awe and admiration.

"No problem. You can surely use the clip," Bai Shihan responded, her voice carrying a mix of bashfulness and consent.

Nie Shufen's gaze lingered on her, captivated by her presence. His eyes seemed to be locked onto her, unable to look away.

"Ahem..." Bei Suzy, who had been observing them, cleared her throat mischievously, effectively breaking the enchanting moment.

Bai Shihan excused herself hesitantly, her blush still evident as she made her way out, leaving the two to their playful banter.

Bei Suzy walked over to Nie Shufen, amusement dancing in her eyes. "I think I need to hide the news from the media. I have to urgently contact the PR team," she feigned urgency.

Nie Shufen's confusion was palpable. "What do we need the PR team for?"

"The most famous actor has turned partially blind... What will the fans think if they know that the actor they admire can only see Shishi in this colorful world, full of beauty," Bei Suzy teased, her tone light-hearted.

A light flush crept onto Nie Shufen's cheeks at her words. "Stop it. Don't you have anything to do?..." He paused, his thoughts racing. 'Did she just say "Shishi"? When did we grow this close?' he wondered.

"Shishi and I are friends now. Let me tell you, you have a great choice. She is a really good girl. You are lucky to have found her. I would love it if she becomes my boss's wife. Though, I am not sure if she is equally lucky too," Bei Suzy continued her teasing, her playful smile not wavering.

"You are right. I am indeed lucky to have found her. The moment I see her, I want to look at her more," Nie Shufen's admission held a touch of vulnerability, his feelings laid bare in his words. "I do not know about her, but you are definitely not lucky. Because I am your boss. Now go and check out things with the director. It's late, everyone would be going back home now."

Bei Suzy wisely chose to make a swift exit, knowing when to back down from her teasing escapades.

As the group filed into the hotel to finalize their check-out, Bai Shihan found herself lost in her room, thoughts still swirling around Nie Shufen's compliment. Gazing into the mirror, she murmured, "So, this is the face Nie Shufen found 'beautiful,' or I would rather say 'so beautiful'..."

Her contemplation was interrupted by the ring of her phone, pulling her out of her reverie.
