"Konoha Sword Style: Fall!"
A surge of violent energy ripped through the air, sweeping up fallen leaves like a meteor crashing down. In an instant, the formation of three Rain Village ninjas was blown apart.
"Lightning Release: Lightning Beast Tracking Fang!"
As one of the first lightning techniques Tetsuya mastered, the Lightning Beast Tracking Fang wasn't just flashy—it packed a serious punch. While it consumed a fair bit of chakra, its auto-tracking ability made it a nightmare for weaker foes. The lightning wolf, crackling with electric ferocity, tore through the air and swallowed one of the Rain ninjas just as he was forming hand signs.

"Well, that changes things. Now it's one versus two!" Tetsuya sneered, his eyes gleaming. "Rain Village trash, come on! Entertain me a bit, and maybe I'll let you die quickly."
Sharp kunai laced with explosive tags whizzed past his face, detonating in a blast behind him. The sudden assault snapped Tetsuya back into focus. His blade movements became sharper, deadlier. If his mentor, Yuhi Shin, saw him now, they'd surely be impressed by his natural talent in swordsmanship.
Meanwhile, the battle on Mikoto's side lacked the same intensity. The moment she activated her Sharingan, the fight was over before it even started. Under the guidance of Yuhi Shin, her skills in genjutsu had reached terrifying heights. Even Tetsuya occasionally found himself falling into her illusions if he wasn't careful.
As Mikoto calmly sat by the campfire, watching the battle unfold, she made no move to intervene in Tetsuya or Muto's fights.
Damn!
Tetsuya ramped up his speed, determined to finish things quickly. He didn't want anyone stealing his kills.
"Konoha Sword Style: Empty Strike!"
In the blink of an eye, a brilliant flash of his blade tore through the air, carving a deep gash into the chest of one of the Rain ninjas. The lifeless body collapsed in a heap.
Without missing a beat, Tetsuya hurled several kunai while retreating swiftly, avoiding any surprise counterattacks.
"Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet!"
A B-rank technique and a spectacle to behold, the massive water dragon coiled in mid-air before crashing down on the last Rain ninja, swallowing him whole.
"How... how is this possible? Why... why is there a monster like you in Konoha?" the defeated ninja gasped, lying helpless in the muddy grass, fear filling his eyes.
"Rain Village is just too small," Tetsuya said coldly, wiping his blade clean. "The world of shinobi... it's much bigger than you could ever imagine."
With a flick of his wrist, Tetsuya's kunai flew, ending the Rain ninja's life without hesitation.

"Muto!" Tetsuya called out, glancing at the dense swarm of bugs buzzing nearby. "Leave one alive. We need answers."
He shivered slightly, realizing how close Muto's insects had come to finishing off the remaining Rain ninjas. A few seconds later and they'd have been stripped to the bone.
"Leave one alive?" Muto echoed, controlling his swarm to wrap the remaining two Rain ninjas in a tightly woven cocoon of bugs.
Looking at the peculiar bug ropes, Tetsuya let out a soft whistle. "Damn, Muto. Never knew you had a talent for tying people up so... creatively."
Maybe he should find time to have a proper discussion with Muto about this. After all, mastering these knots could be important for... future endeavors.
"Alright, spill it. What's Hanzo's real plan sending you guys here? Don't hold back," Tetsuya demanded, kicking the two Rain ninjas to the ground. The cold glint of his kunai hovered dangerously close to one of their faces.
"Don't try to deny it," he added, his voice low. "You answer my questions, or this will be your last chance to live."
"You'd... let us go?" The Rain ninja stammered, cold sweat dripping down his face. The kunai was barely an inch away from his eye.
"That depends on how valuable your information is," Tetsuya replied smoothly. "Don't even think about lying. Just picture your sweethearts back home. If you die here, you'll never see them again."
Tetsuya's words struck a nerve. The Rain ninjas exchanged uneasy glances, their faces betraying their inner turmoil. His smirk deepened.
"Got it. You both have someone waiting for you, huh? Think about it: if you die here, she's gonna marry someone else. Be in someone else's bed. Raising someone else's kids."
"Shut up! Stop it!" one of the ninjas screamed, his eyes widening in panic. The thought seemed to break something inside them. After a moment of agonized silence, they lowered their heads.
"We'll tell you everything," the first ninja said, voice trembling. "I'm Kamikawa Itsuki, and this is Aoki Tsubasa. We're here under the guise of taking the Chūnin Exam, but the real mission is to gather intelligence on Konoha's current strength and report back to Rain Village."
"That's all we know. I swear."
"So, it's about gathering intel, huh? Looks like Hanzo's got quite a few spies crawling around Konoha."
Tetsuya twirled the kunai in his hand lazily before stopping. "One last thing—out of the nine teams from Rain Village, where do you rank?"
Itsuki hesitated, then admitted, "We're... average at best."
"I see. Thanks for your honesty," Tetsuya said with a nod. "As thanks, I'll make sure your deaths are quick."
Slash!
In one swift motion, Tetsuya slit the throats of both Rain ninjas. The two slumped to the ground, lifeless.
"You... you lied..." one managed to choke out as blood pooled around him.
"If I showed mercy to every enemy I faced, what would that say about the Konoha ninjas you've killed?" Tetsuya's eyes darkened. "In this world, those who kill must be prepared to be killed. It's as simple as that."
---
"Hey, Muto. What's with that look?" Tetsuya asked, returning from looting the bodies, his mind still buzzing from the 121 slaughter points he'd earned.
Muto gazed at him with an unreadable expression. "Nothing, really. Don't overthink it, Tetsuya," he replied. "I was just thinking—you're definitely a guy with... stories."
"Alright, alright. Whatever you say," Tetsuya grumbled, not sure what to make of the whole vibe. Even Mikoto's expression seemed a little different now, like she was seeing him in a new light.
Wait. Was it because that Water Dragon Bullet was too cool?
