War Part Four

Ryuga put his right hand over his wound. "You know the only person to ever make me bleed was my brother. I've never felt a pain like this. This hole in my insides... I feel... alive!!"

Ryuga's energy started charging wildly and more powerful. "I FEEL ALIVE!!!" He started laughing wildly.

The ground was shaking now.

"You know what to do." Agaki said.

"Right." said Akasan.

They ran at Ryuga.

Akasan attacked his right side, while Agaki attacked the left and behind.

Ryuga was countering and dodging both of them. He kneed Akasan in the stomach.

Akasan was knocked back some. He winced but he kept on fighting.

Ryuga flipped multiple times in the air and spit out a huge lightning-charged pink fireball.

Agaki made a giant hand out of rock to swallow it up.

Ryuga flipped mid-air once more and then pounded to the ground, smashing the rock to pieces.

Agaki was above him now, he sent a beam of light at Ryuga, who dodged efficiently and dashed forward.

Agaki brought up spikes from the ground, aimed at Ryuga's neck.

Akasan then sped in on Ryuga's right side with his sword.

Ryuga shifted left to dodge the spikes, then held his right hand out at Akasan. His eye twitched.

Akasan noticed it. "A delay!" he thought.

Agaki moved his spikes out the way so Akasan could move further inward.

With a boost of speed, Akasan drove his sword into Ryuga's hand. It dug all the way into his arm, through the bone.

"He pierced me so easily!! What is this?!" Ryuga thought. He grabbed his right arm with his left hand and pulled it away. He started moving further left.

Agaki made more rock spikes come towards Ryuga's left side. He noticed and swung his left leg back, breaking the rocks.

Akasan made another move towards him, swinging his sword.

Ryuga's eyes widened. "You brat...!!" He grabbed the blade with his teeth and crushed it.

Akasan was caught off guard. Ryuga's eyes became so... beast-like.

Ryuga finally landed on all fours.

Agaki sprang above him, with his leg enforced with dark energy. He brought it down towards Ryuga's back.

Ryuga dodged left.

Agaki hit the ground with a crash.

Dark energy tentacles shot out of the dust cloud formed from the impact.

Ryuga was still on all fours, leaping and dodging backwards, forwards, and left. He made it out of Agaki's range, still on all fours. The hair on his head spiked, and his teeth were sharper than usual. His eyes looked unusually disturbed.

Agaki noticed it too. Beastlike. "Hey, what happened to that happy-go-lucky attitude you had earlier?"

Ryuga growled. "Shut up!! I don't know why, but that kid is unsettling!"

Akasan was a few meters behind Agaki, catching his breath. His sword was broken, but that didn't mean he couldn't still fight.

A pool of blood formed under Ryuga's right hand. He shifted his weight so he could lift it up and examine it. "My body is trained to withstand cuts by any blade! I'm a god!! Humans shouldn't have this sort of power!!" he thought.

Ryuga glanced at Akasan. "That blue energy coming from his arm... my soul feels like it's shaking!! What is that?!"

Ryuga stood up and looked at the hole in his hand. He bent down and grabbed some dirt and shoved it into the hole. He spit on it to make mud and then blew fire into his hand to dry it. He flexed his hand. The dried mud cracked but held its place. "Tch. Still hurts though."

Agaki couldn't believe what he was seeing. "This guy's durability... he was stabbed all the way up his arm!"

Ryuga looked at Agaki. "I've decided... I don't like pain. It hurts."

Ryuga disappeared and reappeared behind Agaki. But Akasan was almost just as fast. He punched Ryuga in the face and sent him off.

Ryuga blocked with his left arm but the force still moved him. He became even more annoyed. "Hey brat! What's that energy in your right arm?! I hate it!!"

Akasan looked at his arm. When he did, Ryuga was up-close to his face. He spoke in a dark tone. "I'll tear it off for you."

Ryuga grabbed Akasan's right arm.

Agaki sent his dark energy tentacles towards him, but Ryuga put up a forcefield around him and Akasan. "He won't bother me now. I absolutely must get rid of this nuisance. Even now, I feel it. It's going against my very existence."

Akasan was startled. He didn't know what to do, his mind went blank.

Ryuga pulled down on the arm, tugging it away. But it didn't rip off.

Instead the energy intensified, turning bright blue.

The blue markings spread up Akasan's arm, all the way to his right eye, changing it. The eye became a four-star pattern.

Ryuga was panicking. "What is that?!! The Eye of Creation?!!! How?!!"

Akasan's right eye had turned into the Eye of Creation. He felt like information was flooding his head.

He yanked his arm away from Ryuga's grasp and held his hand up. A bright blue ball of energy formed. It was blue with white glowing from the inside, like a blue star.

It got immensely hot inside the forcefield.

Ryuga stepped backwards on instinct. If he let the forcefield down now, Agaki was prepared to strike him. But Ryuga was feeling intimidated. He was sweating.

The energy was shaking the very roots of his being.

The star glowed brighter.

Agaki could barely see what was going on.

Akasan started floating above the ground, which melted into lava.

Ryuga was now flying as well. "W-What is this?!! What ARE you?!!"

Akasan said nothing. He pushed the blue ball of fire into Ryuga's chest. "SIRIUS STAR!!!"

Agaki got a bad feeling. He quickly flew up and backwards.

Ryuga had a huge grin on his face as the white light intensified.

The impact from Akasan's attack shattered the forcefield.

Wind started blowing violently from the source.

The ground shattered as shockwaves burst out, blowing Agaki away slightly as he resisted.

A blue fiery explosion erupted. The hot wind rushed up into the sky as the colder winds came down, creating a stout tornado on the ground.

Then the blue energy dispersed, destroying the tornado, and everything else around it before quieting down.

Agaki was amazed. He'd never seen such a thing. "Akasan... that was you?! What the..."

Jasper walked into Nyx's chamber. "My Lord, your food has arrived... hm?" He noticed Nyx's hand was clutching her throne tightly.

He hurried up to her. "My Lord! What's wrong? Is there a problem?"

Nyx grabbed Jasper by the shirt and pulled him closer. "Where is my daughter?"

Jasper remained calm. "Andromeda? She's on her planet in the Andromeda Galaxy, where she's been for the past few hundred years. Why?"

Nyx let him go. She relaxed and started chuckling. "Send a message for me for her to return home for a while. Tell her she'll want to come back. I found Sirius' descendant."

Jasper's eyebrows rose. He bowed down and then turned to leave. "I see. At once my Lord."

---

When the dust cleared, Akasan was unconscious on the ground, back to normal.

Ryuga was about a hundred meters away from him, on his back. His entire body was burned and wrinkled dry, like a zombie.

Agaki hurried to Akasan to check for a pulse. He was still breathing.

Agaki let out a sigh of relief. The ground was still intact, but it was very hot.

As rain started pouring down, steam rose from the rocks.

Agaki picked Akasan up and placed him at a safe distance away. He made a shield out of the earth to protect him from the rain.

Ryuga opened his mouth unnaturally wide. He took a deep breath in, filling his mouth with rain. He swallowed then exhaled. He stood up.

Agaki looked over, startled. "No way!! He's still alive after all that?!"

Ryuga wobbled a little bit, then started hopping in place. He opened his mouth just a little to speak. He spoke in a weak sickly tone. "Much. Better. That energy is gone now."

Ryuga started hopping a few more times. "I've lost weight. I feel light all of a sudden." His eyes were still closed. His hair was thin, and flowed down the back of his head like an old man. His entire body was charred to a near black-brown, and his face was wrinkled dry. His eyes were charred closed.

Ryuga spoke again. "Ah. My wounds have been burned shut. This is great." He stopped jumping.

Agaki came out from the shield and prepared to fight.

Ryuga cracked his neck a few times to both sides. He made a short grunt. His purple energy was still just as strong as ever, along with the flaming lightning. He finally opened his eyes with a little force.

"The life force of a god is insane..." Agaki said.

Ryuga disappeared. He reappeared above Agaki, who moved out of the way before he hit the ground.

The ground shook when Ryuga crushed it.

Agaki rearranged the rocks to turn into spikes. He sent about fifty of them at Ryuga, who dodged them all and then disappeared again.

Ryuga appeared behind Agaki, who didn't move.

"You're mine!!" Ryuga said. He swung his left leg into a roundhouse kick aimed at Agaki's head, but the kick never reached him.

Agaki pierced Ryuga's right abdomen with a dark energy tentacle.

"H-How did you..."

Agaki turned around. "Pretty fragile now that you're pretty much a burnt raisin huh?"

Several more dark tentacles came out of the ground and held Ryuga in place.

Agaki waved his hand over the rocks in front of him. "That last attack that you were so focused on dodging. I hid some of my dark energy arms down there. You have a tendency to only run above or behind someone so I figured that this was the best strategy. I can't beat you at hand to hand combat. You're too strong."

Ryuga's breath became an icy mist. "It's cold..."

Ryuga couldn't move. He tried. The rain made a layer of ice over Ryuga's head from it freezing the second it hit the cold air.

"Don't bother moving. I made sure all the molecules around you stopped moving. That means the temperature around your body is at absolute zero, so you can't move. Frustrating isn't it? I picked it up from one of my best friends."

He took a step closer as Ryuga continued to struggle. "Speaking of friends, do you remember mine? You fought them not too long ago right?"

Ryuga said nothing.

"You were laughing earlier. Do you find fighting funny? Do you find war funny?"

Agaki laughed some. "The crazy thing is, this right here, is kinda funny. How you killed Tenma, who was a fire user, and Akasan just completely annihilated you with a fire attack? Funny right?"

Ryuga managed to get words out. A smirk was on his face. "Completely... unrelated..."

Ryuga raised his eyebrows. "Unrelated huh? You're right. You got burned with blue fire, not red. My mistake. How about this, I'll give you something you can relate to. Maki. The name of the girl you put a hole through."

A tear ran down Agaki's cheek. "She was an earth user."

He waved his hand over the ground again, making an axe out of the rock. "And Ako, the other girl you were about to kill, is a weapon user."

Agaki swung the axe, chopping off the leg that Ryuga had in the air. He let out a muffled grunt of pain.

"Did that hurt? I hope it did." He chopped off Ryuga's left arm as well, getting another pained reaction from him.

"You know by now Kuro is a lightning user. So am I." He electrocuted Ryuga, watching his muffled screams.

Agaki stopped electrocuting him and got closer to his face. "You gods think you can just do whatever you please. Well guess what? You lost. I can't get my friends' lives back. So I'm going to help end yours." He took a step back. "I still haven't gotten you for Tenma."

Agaki made the rocks on the ground form around his right arm. "This'll work." He swiftly punched a hole in Ryuga's stomach. He could hear the cracking of Ryuga's bones and dry skin.

Blood started to gush out, but it froze solid in the stagnant air. Then he made a thin needle out of the ground and held it. "It's not my place to kill you. That body of yours will die soon anyway. If I put you in a near-death comatose state, you'll just die from that charred body. Akasan deserves your power, not me." He put the needle in the back of Ryuga's neck.

Ryuga's eyes rolled in the back of his head as Agaki let the air molecules move again.

Ryuga fell back onto the ground.

Agaki walked back over to Akasan. He picked him up in his arms.

He started heading to Arbok City.

Agaki looked up into the sky. "Tenma, Maki... that's the best I could do... may you two rest in peace."

The rain started clearing up, and the sun came out.

Tears streamed down Agaki's face.

"We lived to fight another day."
