The Mission, Part IX

Frost fell unconscious.

Hikaru looked back to check on him. "It was easy to find this place because of the big explosion. Almost as if you wanted to be found..."

Ven held his hand in front of him. "Above all other elements, water will always reign supreme. It snuffs out fire, it erodes rock, it conducts lightning, and when heated, it becomes breathable air. It only takes six centimeters of water for a human being to drown. And with my abilities, my water pressure is enough to completely crush a human body in less than a minute. That's the power that got me to becoming the Third General."

Hikaru gave off a blood-red mist. "Water, hm. That's not too much of a problem, though I see how it could be for some people. You'll find that it won't be much effective on me."

Ven shot out hundreds of thousands of needles of water. "And how is that so?"

Hikaru's arm blurred. Much too fast for Ven to see. However there wasn't a drop of water that hit the ground, or Hikaru.
