Number 6

A couple weeks rolled by very quickly the team slowly started growing together. Everyone was working on things they could improve on. However, the biggest weakness for the team was the lack of Stamina. As of right now only having 6 people would hurt them in the course of an entire game. Tatsuya could only hope that Kaito would eventually join the team, giving them a third person and another person they could rely on. Increasing their chances of beating the GoM's. The other thing is the lack of a coach. Although he was comfortable with creating training menu's he still wanted to make sure everything was being done properly. He couldn't control the entire team by himself, in the end he met with his father.

"Dad, I have a favor to ask if it's permitted." Although Tatsuya knew his family had supported him in the past. His dad was becoming less and less supportive because he thought it was affecting my school life and ability to make friends. But he did see the talent his son had, and it would be a complete waste if he didn't actually use those talents. So he decided he had to be harder on his child and make him understand his shortcomings. Tatsuya was very thankful for his dad because he knew he cared for him. If it wasn't for him and Akira he would have been a loner the entire time.

"Of course, it's rare for you to actually ask me a favor." He could see Tatsuya was even hesitating to ask him this favor. So naturally he was concerned.

"Do you think you could get the school to hire my personal trainer?" The room grew silent and the concern on his dad's face disappeared.

"Tatsuya do you realize what you're asking? You're asking me to abuse my position and make your school hire someone. This is unheard of." Tatsuya remained silent but determined and stared at his father with conviction. He already asked why waste this chance.

"Yes. But the school really needs a talented basketball Coach. With a good coach I believe we will win the championship. Pausing for a moment his dad thought back to all the conversation that he had with the trainer.

"Does that mean you found a third that your trainer was talking about?"

"Correct. Although, he's not on the team yet. I believe it's only a matter of time. He's definitely showing a strong interest." Eventually, sighing he could tell his dad was giving up.

"Alright, I'll pull some strings for you. But this matter never leaves this room. Do I make myself clear? Now I have some phone calls to make." Getting up from his chair his dad leaves the room and begins calling.

"I have a mission for you..." at those words Tatsuya escaped quickly he no longer wanted to be a part of this conversation. The less he knew the better.

"Everything's coming together. I have my triangle and my coach. All that's left is an information gatherer."

A/N: I couldn't remember the name for when three good players get together (Durant/Westbrook/Harden) I wanted to use that term but I couldn't remember it.

Practice proceeded like normal, when a lady in her early thirdies showed up with deep blonde hair running down to her waist. She took a seat on a nearby bench and watched them practice.

"Who's the babe watching?" Ryo nudges one of his fellow first years.

"Get back to practicing!" Tatsuya yelled, making sure everyone was doing their drills. Before he walked over to the female.

"Hello, Coach."

"Hello, where is the third you were talking about? I know you're good but you shouldn't lie to your dad about that." She reached but squeezed Tatsuya's cheek. He flinches in pain.

"What the hell was that for! He just isn't on the team yet! Anyways, introduce yourself already. Everyone gather up, I have something important to tell you." Everyone quickly finishes their current drill and makes their way towards the bench.

"This is Akari Takahashi, you may refer to her as Coach from now on. She's the one who has been training me since I was young. I highly suggest listening to her and taking her advice seriously. Anyways Coach." Making his way towards his teammates Tatsuya left the rest to her.

"As Tatsuya said I'm Akari Takahashi and as of today I'll be your new coach. The school hired me the other day and this is the first chance I had to come down and help you all. I used to play professionally before I retired early. Until recently I was Tatsuya's personal trainer as he said. Well enough about me. This weekend we will be having a practice game against Tokyo Academy."

The two 3rd years paled. Memories of their defeat last year flooded their minds. Hints of panic spread those the other first years. "Coach, is that wise? have you heard at what kind of team they are?"

Sei, who was secretly watching came crashing through the door where Kaito was sleeping. "Kaito! They are having a practice match against Tokyo Academy!" *crash* Falling out of his chair Kaito landed on the ground.

"Why?"
