Adam's face was serious. But Crystal could see regret, disappointment, and vulnerability in his eyes.
She sensed that Adam's features had turned helpless and weak since their last meeting.
Even his vitality and power seemed far weaker than before.
"Oh...? Even a dragon is humbled. What has happened, oh mighty one?" Xulamar spoke.
"The gods that had planned to fight Fate and Destiny... has been defeated... The ones that I thought would survive this calamity... had died. Xulamar... you were there during that era! How did so many gods die?"
"...I do not know what battles my master took part in. When he ascended as a Divine Vessel, he told me that there are powers so powerful that he could not reveal them to us. All he told us was that because Fate and Destiny were listening, the era was decreed to be their rise..."
