Crystal’s True Feelings
The team kept running and running and finally reached a place far beyond the Soul Murk. Crystal became even more frail than she was when they left the mist.
But as they left, the strange sky beyond them became increasingly clear as the Soul Murk vanished. They found a green sky with no stars or sun to light the day.
They kept climbing higher and higher, but the peak of the mountain was still quite far.
"I think... we're safe." Kin finally spoke.
The moment he said those words, he stumbled down in exhaustion.
Jawne and Erika also stumbled as they heard those words.
Everyone was exhausted and fell down. With drained Will, their bodies were tired and weary.
Jawne and Erika had already been munching on the stash of worm meat they had taken, but it was not enough.
"Cryshela..." Kin called out.
"Can you move?"
