Fetching Grandfather

Chapter 13

"He really is happy knowing that you want something for your life" Sherah said to her daughter Shera.

"Let's prepare for welcoming grandfather" said Shera.

"Change your clothes first and let's wait for your father. He will accompany us in the airport" said Sheriah.

"Ok mother" Shera replied. She gets back on her room to prepare herself. She just change her clothes then returned to the dining area to wait for her father. When she gets in the dining area she see her brother and mother waiting for her father. After twenty minutes her father came.

"Oh! My baby girl is home" said Raizen and hugged her daughter tightly. "So how is your training?" he added.

"Its fine and I finished it already. Uncle Lang and Uncle Ling said that after one month they are going to introduce me to all our subordinate for the succession" Shera said while getting inside the car of her father to fetched her grandfather.

"That's good to hear, congratulations for passing the succession" Raizen replied while smiling happily.

"By the way sis the lab develops a lot of new medicines since the last time" Shiro said.

"We discover a lot of new medicinal herb in the lab this past few months" Shera said.

"How come you discover this amount of medicinal herb for just few months?" Shiro asked in amazement.

"The reason for that is simply because I use my knowledge in my past life" Shera said to herself.

"It's my secret on how I discover those things" Shera replied while smiling.

At the airport the old man is very happy seeing that his two grandchildren are present in welcoming him.

"Shera how is your training?" asked the old man.

"It's good I learned a lot and developed my skills and abilities during the training" Shera replied.

"That's good to hear, now I can rest assured to myself that all my hard work in my early years will go in vain" said the old man to Shera.

"Grandpa I promise that I will do my best to be a perfect heir" Shera said.

"Child, no need to be perfect just do your best" said the old man dotingly.

"How about me grandpa?" Shiro asked while smiling mischievously.

"Brat, don't think just focus in studying for now. You will manage the business that the family had" said the old man teasingly.

"Ow! You can leave it to Shera" Shiro said uninterested.

"Leaving everything to your sister. Are you planning to be a free loader?" the old man asked unbelievable.

"Hey grandpa I'm just kidding. I will assist my sister that's for sure" Shiro said while laughing.

"Hmmmmp …better be like that" said the old man.

"By the way Dad where do you want to eat?" asked Raizen to his father.

"Let's just go home now" the old man replied.

"By the way Shera, are you sure you're not interested with the Voltaire's kid" asked the Old man teasingly.

"Hmmp, grandpa don't say bad words" Shera replied grimly.

The old man smile but didn't respond.

"Speking of Voltaire I heard that the same day the wedding get cancelled is the same day he returns to US and never returns home" Raizen said.

Sheriah hit his husband arm "Owww, honey why are hurting me?" asked Raizen.

Sheriah glared at her husband. Raizen zip his mouth afraid that if he still continue she really will get mad at him. He just scratch his head.

"By the way when is your start in attending school again Shera?" asked the old man.

"Next week grandpa" Shera replied.

"Good but after a month you are going in the US for succession" said the old man.

"Yes grandpa" Shera replied.

"Just prepare yourself our subordinate will not be easy to handle. I suggest to strengthen your will more" suggest the old man.

"Don't worry grandpa I'll do that" Shera replied.

In the US.....

"Sir I heard the next successor of Carillo will be introduced one month from now. They are one of the richest family and their businesses are really growing" said Michael.

"Hmmmm…. we need to meet the next successor so that we can secure them that they will partner with us in business. We also need to be a part of their next biggest project that they are working. I heard that they developed a lot of new medicines which has high value in the market and as of now they are still looking for someone to be one of their partners with it" said the handsome man sitting in the swivel chair of his office.

"By the way Sir Zander, the daughter of the Maximillian didn't approach your family after canceling the wedding. Based on the investigation she seems to disappear for almost six months but yesterday the spy informed me that she did return to her home" Michael added.

"Hmmmm…. I don't believe that small family doesn't have a hidden agenda in cancelling the wedding. Continue monitoring them, we need to be very careful to those people who are trying to get attached to my family" Zander replied.

"Hmmmmp that disgusting woman who is forcing herself to me. She thinks highly of herself but at least she still have awareness of her status" Zander said while looking at the picture in front of him. It is Shera's picture when she is wearing her heavy makeup and green hair with three earrings and black clothes like a punk.

Zander's brow twitch and his eyes are full of disgust. "This ugly woman wants to marry me in her dreams. She also had the guts to cancel the wedding on her own which makes him the laughing stuff of his friends. This woman dare to piss me off, hmmmm later I will deal with you" said Zander to himself while looking at the picture in front of him while smiling wickedly.

"Sir another thing Ms. Lera Sebastian is requesting to meet you. She is in the waiting room while holding the food she prepared for you" Micheal said.

"Another annoying woman, tell her I'm busy and never let her in next time" said Zander.

"Ok sir" then Michael turn away. He closed the door and goes to where Lera is.

Women are just annoying flies who goes around him whenever they see him. They just love to attract his attention but actually just love his money. They really never cared for him truly.

He never once had any relationship to anyone although he is already twenty-eight years old he never held any woman in his arms. He didn't also know why but he didn't find attracted to any woman.

He stand and look at the window in his office. He can't find satisfaction even if he has everything in his hands. He felt bored that is why he accepted the wedding the woman wants. He didn't care who he will marry because he really see it as a business negotiation only. Speaking of business the compensation given by the Maximillian family is not ordinary. The business they gave him has higher value although the woman's family is ordinary but they take them seriously. What they gave him is more than he is expecting.

He get his cellphone inside his pocket and dialed the number of his best friend who owns a private investigation company.

"Hello Ryan, Yes it's me Zander. I want you to investigate someone for me" Zander said formally. "The Maximillian family in Larun country, the family of the woman who insist on marrying me. Stop you're nonsense just do what I told you. Ok informed me when you are done and I will pay you anytime" he added.

He turned off his cellphone and look at outside.

In the Maximillian house…..

"Grandpa are you planning to still work at the Company?" asked Shera.

"Yes but after the transfer of succession I am planning to retire to give you full control of all the business" said the old man.

"But Dad isn't it too much? Shera is still a high school student for her to be in full control of a large Company is too much for her" said Raizen.

"Don't worry father grandpa has his reasons why he did it. Grandfather I will not let you down" Shera replied.

"That's my girl" replied the old man proudly.

"But I am just concerned about you" Raizen replied.

"I know father and I appreciate it and thankful for that. I can just ask your assistance whenever I think I find it too much for me" Shera replied consoling his father.

Raizen felt touched with what her daughter say.

They eat happily together and spends time watching movies with his grandfather.

Shera is lying in her bed while looking at the ceiling of her room. Time flies too fast ever since she was reborn to her past self. Now there are lots of changes happens since she decided not to marry the Eldest young master of the Voltaire family.
