Assessment Result for Ranking in School
Chapter 9
Shera didn't mind Juro's remarks to her. She know herself very well especially in the past. She really an annoying spoiled brat. Not until she ends up tragically did she learned her lesson very well. So this time she will do her best to prove to her subordinate that she is worthy of their respect.
"Uncle Ling when will I start my training?" Shera asked. She didn't plan to waste her time here. Every moment counts her family needs protection especially in the future. She is not God but she is still willing to become the pillar of her family.
"Oh! You want to start now. Then begin to basic here is the list of what you are going to do at first. Then I will tell you step by step the improvement of your training. Even when you are young we know already that you possess a strength which is different from others and your special abilities needs enhancement. You also have high sensitivity to pain and danger. Now it seems it is doubled. Did you practice secretly before you call us?" Elder Ling asked.
"No, I just got into an accident. That is why you think my sensitivity is higher now" Shera explained.
"Hmmm…Ok" Elder Ling gives her a list of her schedule every day.
"By the way I am going to return when the result of my assessment is released and collect my spoils of war. Then I am going to return the very same day" Shera said.
"Ok, no problem. Now do you have any questions regarding your training?" Elder Ling asked?
"None I am satisfied with it" Shera replied.
Juro is speechless because the little girl didn't mind his word.
"Then proceed to Lang he is waiting for you outside" Elder Ling said.
"Elder Ling, what happened to her? She seems a little bit different" Juro asked.
"I don't know exactly, but I heard her mother and brother that she had an accident that almost killed her. I already assigned people to investigate about it. Dare to mess at the heir of Carillo and Maximillian" Elder ling said angrily.
"What! You mean someone tried to kill her" Juro said while his face darken. Although she didn't like her attitude but he never want her to get into danger.
"Inform me Elder Lang if you gained any useful information about and I will also use my network to investigate about it" Juro said.
"Ok" replied Elder Ling.
When Shera see Elder Lang, he is actually eating outside the door.
Shera smile at the old man.
"Hey Uncle Lang what is that?" Shera asked curiously.
"Oh! Just a regular fried chicken" Elder Lang said.
"I thought the Doctor says that it is not good for your health" Shera said.
"I know but I don't eat it regularly. I eat it every after a month" Elder Lang replied.
Shera laughed wholeheartedly.
"By the way Elder Lang when can I start my training for medicine?" Shera asked.
"Here is the list of your schedule for the training and I will add the difficulty depends on your improvement. I know you had a photographic memory. So I want to know whether you are capable in medicine. Is that ok with you?" Elder Lang asked.
"Yes, its fine. By the way after one week I will return to know the result of my assessment then I am going to return at the very same day" Shera replied.
"Ok, any complaints regarding your training schedule?" Elder Lang sked.
"None, it's fine with me. I will tell you if I have anything I want to change" Shera said.
"You may take your rest for now. Tomorrow we will begin your training, ok" Elder Lang said.
"Ok" Shera replied.
"You can go back to your room now. The same room when you are younger. We just renovate it for you to be used" Elder Lang added.
"Ok" Shera replied.
When Shera see the familiar rooms she has she felt overwhelmed. "This are the things I give up for someone unworthy. Now I learn how to value what I had than to seek something I don't. Enhancing my abilities than seek for approval for something I am not" Shera sigh.
She take a bath and change her clothes. She easily falls asleep after she lie down on the bed.
Shera woke up late in the evening. Inside her room has a small refrigerator which contains a lot of food so she didn't go out and just eat what it has. Then she relax a little by reading something about medicinal herbs before she fell asleep.
In the next morning....
At five o clock Shera wake up of her alarm. The start of her martial arts training is five o clock for jogging and a lot of exercises for her body. After that she will rest and eat for lunch, then she will proceed in the laboratory for studying medicinal herbs and anything about medicine up until five o clock in the afternoon. Then she could rest and do what she wants to do. That is her daily routine for the rest of the week.
The time comes when the result of assessment is going to be released.
Shera fly back to her family and wait for the result to be announced in the school meeting during that day. Her family fetch her from the airport then they proceed to the school.
At Seiki High School.....
The meeting has started when they came but still they arrive in time. The result is Shera got into the top ten. She is top six for the entire school. All the teachers and her fellow students are shocked with her results. Others complain that she cheated but the facilitator that time defend her by witnessing that she didn't do it. Then in the end it is proven that it is her own answer. Those who framed her are scolded by the Principal.
Then Laurence approach her when her family was preparing the car.
"Shera, I lost in the bet" he said seriously "Here is the document that contains five percent of the company shares from my family" he added while his face is flushed red.
"Thank you, I thought you will complain" Shera said when she receive the documents.
"I am a man of my words. It's my immaturity why it happened to me. I hope you could forgive for insulting you. My parents almost disown me and they punished me for losing the shares of our company" Laurence said solemnly.
"Hmmmmm….. value what you have and take care of it or else someday you will regret it" Shera said meaningfully. "Don't worry I accept your apology" she added.
"My Dad told me to find a job while studying so that I will know how hard to earn money or else he will abandon me" Laurence said sadly.
Abandonment from those powerful families are very common especially those who have a lot of children in a family. So the child for each family need to become talented in different aspect.
"How about helping me to manage the shares you have given to me?" said Shera.
Laurence was stunned of what he heard "Aren't you afraid of me taking back my word about the bet?" he said.
"It's up to you if you dare to betray me. I have lots of means to get back at you" Shera replied naturally.
Laurence felt goose bumps all over his body for some reason. The Shera in front of her give him a sense of unfamiliarity. He felt something different from her. She gives her a vibe a tyrant leader.
"What am I thinking? May be I watch too many soap operas at home" Mumbled Laurence at himself.
"Are you sure you don't want to accept my offer?" Shera ask. She has reasons why he asked him because in the future Laurence will be one of those prominent figure in the business industry. He may be mischievous and full of himself but he is extremely talented. Although he cannot be compare to Zander but he at least has abilities and skills. He is also the one who make great contributions in their company that made it to the top ten richest company internationally.
Laurence grit his teeth "Ok I accept your offer" he answered seriously. Instead of bearing the shame and humiliation of applying to regular jobs at least working on their company is more beneficial.
Shera smiled at him "I will draft a contract later and will send you to your email. I have important matters to attend to so let's meet some other time" she said then offer him a handshake.
Laurence accept it then go on their own ways.
But before Shera run off to her family she bumped into Ezrah.
"Hello Shera, How have you been this days?" Ezrah said cheerfully.
Shera smiled warmly "I'm good! I'm just busy dealing different matters about my personal stuff" she answered.
