(Part 5)

Third delivery of the last over, the crowd in craze cheered and whistled. Jules delivering the ball whispered, "Bind spot form 4."

A leg cutter aimed at the mid pitch, Xavier tapped his bat carefully. Immediately at the moment of touching against it, Xavier moved the bat away as the ball changing its direction went into the wicketkeeper's hand.

"Oh!!" went the crowd and the fielders, as they grabbed their foreheads on the missed chance of a wicket.

"Close." Cassiel blinked.

"Good job, good job!" Beruni clapped his hands passing the ball to Rio who wiped it passing it back to Jules.

"Now I see…" Xavier smiled, "You both are working together aren't you?" he turned to Beruni who furrowed his gaze grave, "What?"

"Nothing. You won't like hearing it like this, so I guess I'll just show you."

A silver beam flickering around Xavier, it instantly enveloped his whole body in a flare. His hairs blazing silver glinted with a red star burning amid his forehead. Beruni and Feyz gasped stunned.

Jules tracing his sight gulped, "A… Realm user?"

Delivering the 4th ball Jules uttered, "Blind spot form 4."

"It won't work." Xavier whispered. His perceptions perfected to their utmost potential. He judged his own blind spot moving back and evading the entire delivery. Going above the wicket's impact the ball went into Beruni's hand.

"Haha! Xavi, Xavi read it all!" Adam raised his fist towards the sky soon clapping his hands against Mikael's.

Xavier beaming spoke, "Beruni Saud, the one who can read blind spots is you right?"

Beruni squinting his gaze frowned, "So what?"

"Nothing, it was amusing to know that you were one who had been misleading us since long. But you can't inform your team mates about our weakness in between an over which leaves you at a disadvantage. Except for one and that is Jules. He can read your mind very clearly. In other words there is an ability that connects you both in a way where he performs as per your instructions. So by any chance have you both probably achieved 'Unseal' or 'Dominance'?" Xavier unveiled the mystery like an open book.

"Aren't you probing in too much? Why don't you watch out for yourself rather than worry about us?" Beruni retorted provoked. Xavier smiled, "It isn't about probing. In a match each and every single one of us is studying each other. What I put forward was a mere hypothesis. No need to get angry over it. On the contrary, feel to free to ask me if you have a query instead. I'll gladly enlighten you."

Beruni scoffed squinting his brows, "You bastard…!"

The last ball of the final over. "Kings! Qalandars! Kings! Qalandars! Kings~!" went the chants around the entire crowd waiting for the final ball of the first half of the innings.

Xavier tapping his bat looked up. Jules stepping on the popping crease whispered, "Blind spot form 4!"

The leg cutter aimed outside the wicket impact zone, Xavier reading it's trajectory stepped towards his right. "A normal spin… then here we go!" Slamming the bat high towards the leg side for a huge six the ball went to the deep cover and into the audiences stand ending the innings with might.

180 runs scored with the loss of 3 wickets with the target set to 181, Kenzo and Xavier both returned to the pavilion which welcomed them with applauses and cheers.

"How was it your highness?" Xavier asked removing his helmet.

"What?" Kenzo glanced behind.

"My performance, Geez…" Xavier puffed his cheeks.

Kenzo chuckled, "Idiot… else than wasting time try to hit some shots next time especially in the last over."

Xavier blinked, "Huh? But weren't you the one who told me to play the way I want and take it easy? Moreover, I did hit a six on the last delivery."

Kenzo nodded, "I did say that but Islamabad's target yesterday was 187 whereas ours today is 181, 6 runs behind. As rough and hard the matches are going to be from now on I bet we have to aim for above two hundreds for targets."

Xavier pondering agreed, "I guess you are right. It's our first match after all. We have a lots more learn. After discussing it with others let's make sure to work on this part too."

Kenzo gazing at his bat which shone golden let out a relived beam. Raising it up, he gently pecked it, "Thank you… " "Good thing it felt the same…" he thought.

[Flashback (Karachi cricket board, night before the flight to Islamabad)]

Kenzo entering the 4th stadium inhaled sharply. The night chilly was assisted by light breeze. His grey hairs fluttering and glinting by the striking moonlight. He rested his hands in his pocket. His expression troubled, he casted a glance at his bat which was tugged amid his wrist. He soon stood amid the cricket ground.

"You're here?" asked a gentle voice.

Kenzo recognizing it turned around.

Kortes waved his hand coming close. Kenzo staring at him serious stood response less.

Kortes immediately gulped. "Oh, come on~ quit throwing daggers at me now. It was important that's why I called you here." he moaned.

Kenzo still as stiff as a statue glared.

"Alright, alright…" Kortes rubbed his neck giving up, "I'll come straight to the point then…"

"You see, just like you were told. I might need your bat to make some modifications. You see, you might've played back in Europe with the gold bat allowed rule but that's not going to work for the PSL or the upcoming World Cup. It is one of the rules that no weights are allowed on the field be it bats, arm weights, thigh weights, gauntlets or anything else. Since, you were unwilling to change your bat. I thought I should make some adjustments in this one and give it to you so it doesn't create a problem in the future with the cause of dishonesty." he explained.

"What are you going to do?" Kenzo inquired disturbed.

"I don't want to tell you what I'll do, but since you are it's owner you must know. Kenzo I know, your Queen is a precious gift bestowed to you but if you won't play with another bat then I won't have a choice but do this. I can either, extract all gold and give its body a change using willow wood while coating it with gold water which won't change its overall look or I can melt its body and mix it with the willow wood to create its entirely new form." Kortes stated the possibilities.

Kenzo blinked shocked. "I won't give it you." he retorted turning around.

"Then you can't play." Kortes replied abruptly his expression hidden, "And I don't want that."

Kenzo glanced restless.

"You are Middleschoolers team's overall leader. I can't let you run away or step back due to a foolish reason like this." Kortes warned.

Kenzo instantly snickered, "Do you think if you'll threaten me, I'll listen to you?"

Kortes exhaled, "I know you won't. That's why I want you to believe me. I won't do anything. Even you'll realize it once you'll play. Child, I am your instructor. You might enlist me as your enemy but I will never ever turn my back on you or even hurt you or your feelings in anyway."

Kenzo narrowing his gaze remembered his mother's words, "My dear. Just remember to live for the world more than living for yourself. That's how you become benevolent and kind…"

"Right now if not for the world... I must strive and sacrifice for my friends and for our future. I bet… mother won't ever be disappointed." he thought tossing the bat towards Kortes.

Kortes instantly flinching grasped it, "Easy…"

"The first option… go for the first option." Kenzo frowned, "And if something happens. You'll see what I'll do then!" Walking back he headed out of the ground.

Kortes lifting his glasses up sighed, "Oh dear~ oh dear~ even getting his permission is like waging a war. All pure efforts needed." Turning to the bat he too headed back, "Now~ time for work."

(End of flashback)

"181…" Azazel turned to Elias who smiled with his eyes closed.

"Are you freaking kidding me…?" Feng added surprised over his deduction.

"I bet this was only a speculation everyone can do that. He just got it right. That's the only difference." Adam patted Azazel's back.

"Not just a speculation." Alan grinned, "Elias is always right thanks to his dreams."

"Dreams?" Seraph repeated confused.

"A horrifying ability to predict and watch the match before it even commences. In other words, he is a Lucid Dreamer 1who dreams of the future. That ability only works for matches though. Sometimes, for personal things too...? About that I am quite unaware right?" Noah informed, beside Elias quivering himself, "It's even creeping me out…"

Elias smiled nodding, "I think so." His purple gentle gaze turning cold for moment.

Shudders went down the middleschoolers spine, they gulped.

"A-a-a lu-cid… Drea-mer…?" Heber stuttered.

"Isn't that only imaginary…?" Ezekiel added baffled.

"Seriously, who are you trying to trick here?" Gabriel twitched his brow.

"This is not something he would trick you with. I bet he even knows who the winner of this match is." Haris leaned back on the seat composed.

"No way…" Cassiel gasped.

Romeo agreeing nodded his head ever so lightly.

Seraph smirked, "For someone to have this kind of ability and you are announcing it out loud before your opponents. You sure are wise for that."

"PFT!" Romeo amused chuckled beside Rovan and Haitam.

"Haiz~ this is the point where we all smack our heads against the wall as well. These kind opponents of ours have already discovered all our abilities two years ago. They are already aware of them." Ren exhaled regretful.

"Yeah, they have no information failures in this area." Nagi mocked blatant.

"Except for skills we mastered most recently they are gladly aware of everything." Senri winked.

"Furthermore, we are aware of their abilities as well." Haruf added.

"That's how this world goes little ones." Haitam stretched his hands.
