Healing Fall

The two start walking through a woodland area and walking over fallen leaves. "Hey Jack, it'll be safe to assume that there will be more enemies inside, and it could be dangerous. Are you ready to continue?". Jack nods and says "I'm ready! Let's go find out what's happening to the seasons!

The two of them walk into the temple and don't see any enemies yet. That's when they hear a roar and look up to see a giant version of the wraiths, 3x their normal size. It has more muscular arm features and a large belly. "Okay! That is, disgusting. Hello Pumba! did you eat Simba on the way over from pride rock?" Jack said to the thing. It slammed it's fist on the ground and roared loudly. Other versions of the wraiths except with wings, swoop down and their arms turn into scythes.

"I think you offended it." Grace said pulling out her bow. "You think?" He replied pulling out his hatchet.

{Fall Golem}

Once the fight started, the golem jumped up and slammed onto the ground causing a shock wave. "Holy- okay! Avoid the ground when he does that!" Grace says. She started targeting the ones that could fly and dodged their attacks. "I thought Fall was supposed to be all calm and cold, but I guess tubby here didn't get the memo when they said to keep enough fat till spring!" Jack said mocking the golem. "Well sure, annoy it even more!" Grace told him.

Jack then saw it's belly light up and it let out a large burp of air. Jack dodged it and then ran up to hit it. He only got one good slice on it's stomach but was then punched back by it's huge fist. The abomination then roared and then jumped high up to slam on the ground. It did this repeatedly until Grace shot it down. She then hit it again with her bow and backed up.

While it was stunned she readied an arrow completely made of ice. "JACK!" She yelled as he got ready to throw his hatchet. They both released their weapons and when they met their mark, the golem fell to the ground and then disappeared from the spot. In it's place it left two glowing grey gems. Jack picked them up and said "And that would be my loot!".

The two continued into the temple until the saw someone hiding among a bunch of library books. "G-Grace? Is that you?" A voice spoke out. "Autumn!" She replied. A young man who was 15, 5'6, dark red messy hair, orange eyes, light almond skin, and was wearing a brown coat, with brown jeans. "H-hello Grace! I apologize for the mess I-I just-" "It's fine Autumn! I know you prefer your books over a fight!" Grace tells him.

Jack goes over and he says "Hello!". Autumn looks at Jack and says "What uh- GRACE! You're with a human?! Isn't that against the rules?". Grace looks at him and says "I don't see the rules protecting you. This is Jack.". Jack looks around and says "Uh yeah, speaking of which, where is everybody? I might not know everything but I'm pretty sure that there should be more people here!".

Autumn looks at him and says "They're all trapped in that mountain over there!". He points to a mountain covered in red trees and says "My dear owl, Penny, she's been taken over by the dark energy around here! And you human boy won't last a second!". He goes over to a workbench and says "But if you can take down the golem from out there and bring me its gems-".

He's interrupted as Jack pulls them out. "Perfect!". He takes the gems and they hear him cobble away at something. He puts two brown and red boots up on the workbench and says "Put them on!". Jack puts them on and Autumn says "T-the boots will make you super fast, be able to walk on any surface, and if you click the heels together, turn invisible! Be warned though, the invisibility only last 10 seconds, and has a cool down timer!".

Jack looks at the boots and says "They fit great! I can't wait to test them out!". They walk outside and Autumn says "WAIT! Here!". He passes them a book and he says "It should have any more of those.... THINGS, recorded in it. This way you'll know what you're up against!".

"So how do you like the upgrade?" Grace asked him. When she didn't hear anything she turned to see him gone. "Jack?" She said. He appeared to her right and said "BOO!". She then turned on her heel and shot and arrow past his head. ".... We will never speak of this.". The two continued walking and Jack read "Every wraith has an element responding to its season. Winter is ice and water, Fall is wind and lightning, Summer is fire and rock, and Spring is just nature, making it the only one that has one element.".

Grace turns around to look at him and says "Guess that means everything so far has been wind! You must really like reading huh?". Jack nods and says "Yeah, it's one of the only things that I could really do growing up.". Grace stopped walking and said "What's that supposed to mean?". Jack got a grim expression on his face as if he's heard those words before.

"Don't worry about it! It's nothing to worry about, and plus w-we're almost to the mountain, so we'll want our guard up!". Jack walks past her and Grace couldn't help but wonder.... 'Why did he stutter?'.
