"So you're telling me that the King of Bonehelm and his loyal servant unleashed monsters from the land of the dead upon our kingdom? I'm not buying it." Cecelia said "This guy is probably insane."
"Thats exactly what I said. "Viola said.
Henry raised his hand and Mordecai asked him to speak." What's a Lich King? "
"I'm glad you asked.You see, a Lich is a master of the undead. It is a dead creature which still lives. A Lich has a soul, a brain, can think, speak and plan just like any other human being. However, a Lich is also immortal and can never die."
"Mordecai, So what you're basically saying is that a Lich is dead and also not dead at the same time. " Matthew said. He was completely confused and so were the rest of the people in the cellar.
"Exactly!"
"But I don't understand, how's that even possible? How does one even become a Lich? "
"You see, becoming a Lich is a very difficult process. In fact, only a totally insane person would even want to become a Lich in the first place." Mordecai stood up and rearranged the sack trying to make it more comfortable for him to sit on.
"First, one would need to find an ancient who knows the ritual and how to perform it. Then, just do whatever the ancient commands you to do until you are given the spell. However, no one knows what the spell is exactly, for it is hidden but my guess would be; Two cups of a loved ones blood, Bile of a celestial, Bone from a wolf hybrid, Eating a baby whole, one ripe cherry or even Eating your own child."
The faces of everyone in the cellar scrunched up in disgust but, no one said anything and so Mordecai continued.
