He turned around to the three heroes that he once thought fictional and answered Armasmaster's question, "Well, obviously, I wasn't going to attack Lung if I was not sure I could take him down."
"What did you do to him, I didn't think you had any Master ability?" Armsmaster said in a tone that 'seemed' normal, but with his meta knowledge, Klyntar could see the probe for what it was.
"Oh no, I don't have any master powers, I just let the goo I create into his body and took control of his muscles" Colin, of course, lied without shame, he knew how masters were perceived here, and he wasn't about to fall into that trap, he turned around to Lung and said "But I can see how some can see it as a master power, although he is aware of everything around him, he can't move"
And that was the truth; while Klyntar could take control of Lung's mind at any moment, he was not actively using that ability; from the villain's perspective, he was merely unable to move.
"I see. Could you keep him immobilized until his transformation reverses? Our foam burn with his fire," Armsmaster 'asked' politely, but his tone was icy, more of a command than a request.
"Of course." Klyntar didn't care; his mind on the events that just happened, he was pretty sure this rampage of Lungs's wasn't in cannon.
"Hey Armsmaster, what is the date today?" He asked, breaking the brief silence.
"2011 April 11th, why?" Armsmaster replied with suspicion; he was feeling rather down; he took so much time working on contingencies against Lung, and here is this new Parahuman doing it with ease, getting such raw power handed to him; first, it was Dauntless, and now, this bullshit.
'The start of the story...but then why?' Colin was confused for a moment; he was pretty sure Taylor and the Undersiders defeated Lung before he could grow too much in cannon.
"It's just that I had not been paying attention to...anything really these past few days," Klyntar replied with a frown; he was lying; obviously, internally, he felt amused at how easy it was to control his facial expressions, something he was terrible at before.
He turned around to Armsmaster and frowned as he said, "So how did Lung, of all people, attack? I was under the impression he doesn't go out himself most of the time."
"And how would you know about Lung's habits?"
"I am somewhat of a cape geek myself, so? Why was he here?"
Battery replied this time "Apparently a new cape, very much like yourself attacked him first, unlike you, however, she didn't have the power to back her actions"
"I see," Klyntar said, but he did not, in fact, see; he was pretty sure Taylor and the Undersiders defeated Lung in cannon 'so what changed here?'
"Where is she now?" He asked while they walked towards a PRT truck; many agents were starting to spray foam on Lung, knowing that his transformation had started to recede, and an Oni Lee covered in black cloud-like foam was being guarded nearby.
"The medics are trying to keep her alive as we speak, she was burned badly by the Dragon, hopefully, Panacea will have a look at her tomorrow, or else she may remain disfigured her entire life" Battery replied again, Armsmaster remained silent, while Assault seemed so tired, any energy he had left was for walking.
'Huh, Taylor injured and with the PRT...I can't see a way for that to turn out wrong, they would probably pressure her into the wards, and with the events of today, they will likely succeed' Klyntar didn't know what to do with that information, the problem was that he was rather confused, he never did any of this shit before so he was lost on how to proceed 'Still, I can't let them keep Taylor, with her 'issues' it would turn out horribly'
An agent came and reported, "We have fully captured Lung, leaving only his head, sir."
The agent mentioned for them to follow him to a foamed Lung, his head barely visible. "Due to the unknown substance present in his body, we have chosen to keep his head out of cover until Klyntar removes it."
"Actually, I don't think that would be necessary" he said to the heroes"The black goo thing that I make has been disappearing quickly the moment it got out of my hands, what's left inside Lung should go away in a couple of minutes as well"
That was a lie, but why would he give up such a powerful Parahuman puppet? The fact he controlled Lung also had other benefits; it served as a form of countermeasure in case Lung escaped, and it would also give him access to the Birdcage.
"Is that so" Armsmaster looked at him as if trying to see into his soul, but in the end he just let it go, his scanners were still failing to capture anything, and he could already guess why that was happening by now, but he needed to be back to his lab to make sure, and in case Klyntar was lying, they would figure out after scanning Lung.
"In that case, could you follow me to the PRT headquarters to give your statement, and for power testing, if you are interested, I have told you before, and I'll say it again, Parahuman powers are dangerous, it's for the best that we verify their side effects, especially in case the goo you make left may have some untold repercussions" Armsmaster then said.
Klyntar replied immediately "Actually, I don't think I want to go right now, I had an... interesting day, I just want to go home.. and... lay .....down for a while"
Armsmaster said something back, but Colin was not paying attention anymore, the moment he said 'home' he felt a strange sense of sadness, partially because of the fact he didn't even belong to this reality, and partially because he 'remembered' that he did have a home here...
'What the fuck? How? How did I not realize this??' Klyntar ignored the heroes and stared ahead in horror as he thought 'I do have a home here, but it was so...similar that I didn't even catch on it, rather than say I was dropped in randomly from nowhere, the truth is I always lived here...or at least...a variant of me did'
Same name, same parents, same friends, same education, same house, everything was so similar to the point he did not consider it before, but now that he caught on to it, it could not leave his mind.
'The point when everything changed was...2 days ago when 'my' family died, my parents and my sister were the victims of the gang Empire 88, at the funeral 'I' had a breakdown and then...I got here'
"Klyntar?" Someone called, probably Armsmaster.
'Did I actually get in Worm or is the memories of someone who read it made me like this?' He wondered silently, although he did not consider it extensively, as he knew in his bones that he didn't belong here.
"Klyntar, do you hear me?" The annoying voice kept calling, a bit of worry in the tone.
'And 'my' parents dead... by the E88 no less, that seems like the story of some bad fanfiction revenge plot...I will think about this later, for bow thought...' he turned his attention back at the heroes who were giving him odd looks, caution deep within their eyes.
"Yes? Forgive me...I...need to go home, I'll come to you later...I...need to think." Without waiting for their reply, the red cape symbiote reformed on his back as wings, and he took to the skies once more.
He did not pay attention to anything as he rose and rose in the air accelatarating upwords, in less than 2 seconds he broke throught the clouds, his black eyes reflecting the cosmos above.
Once there, Colin just kept floating insilznce, his mind in chaos.

Klyntar/Colin Pov
Why me?
I was never special, never remarkable at anything, just a guy, a backround character you would pass by, so why? Why me of all people? There are many who would have killed for this...
I let my eyes penetrate the clouds, throught tall buildings, throught people, until it fell on a graveyard, until it fell on three particular new gravestones, two big ones, and one small between them.

A small light that the darkness had no right to claim.
'A lot of Nazies are about to become slaves' I thought darkly, thought I recognized the fact that this family were NOT my own, that didn't change the fact they also were my family, however contradictory that may have sounded.
I won't do anything for now, my head was still in much rage, and no matter how much I just wanted to crash into that shiny building in the distance for Kaiser, a man that I could hear his breathing from here, a man that I could tear apart in a fraction of a second, I also knew that acting under emotion was just a bad idea, and I will not put myself at a disadvantage the day I got here.
'Besides...' I shifted my gaze to the skies 'Was it the E88 that did this or...did who ever put me here 'pushed' the Empire to do it?'
I would not find it strange either way, I imagined whomever was the being that thrown me here would of wanted it me to get involved somehow, at the same time, the Empire was a racist group of Nazis and knowing history, I would not put it past them.
'Lets ignore that for a bit' forcing myself to look back towards the cemetery, I watched closely as PRT agents snoobed around the place 'Giving the fact that I tore away all of my clothes in my transformation, which included my pants that held my ID I expect they will know who I am and where do I live by the morning'
'Does it matter?' I asked my self, and the answer came suiftly.
No it did not matter. I doubt I can reverse the transformation, Knull did have some shapeshifting abilities, but it was so minor you could of missed it, all he did was make his jaw larger and grew a serpentine toungue.
Sigh...
'I am tired' I knew I was 'But I can't sleep' I knew I couldn't, or rather I did not need to, neither did I needed food, I did not even require air to live, the knowledge was so instinctual I didn't doubt it.
"Neverless..." I said outlowd "I would rather spend the night at 'my' house"
This time, I took my time flying home, not even bothering with the camera clicks someone miracusly managed to capture as I entered throught the window.

Auther here.
So...I have been absent for a while, for a LOT of reasons really, the first and most important is that college is back and since my course will be a guarantee to my dream job (yey!) I have to actually put in effort.
The second reason is just laziness really, so...yeah.
This has been giving me some trouble thought so thats that.
I had tried writing some stories before, but I woûld usualy stop out of pure lazing around, not this time thought, I pretty determined to finish this, whether it turned bad oŕ good in the end.
Thanks to anyone who bothered reading this note, and to the next time.
