Tea? With My Wife?

"Kippy!!!" A high-pitched squeal was the only thing I heard before being tackled by a crying Skylar. I sigh before patting her head. Although I haven't had memories come back during training, Skylar and I have been communicating through a communication crystal that allows us to hear each other. "Kippy, Zach wouldn't let me come see you! Isn't he the meanest person to ever exist!?" Her cheeks puffed up as she glared at a straight-faced Zachary to the side.

"Skylar, don't call His Highness such things. You could be beheaded!" I try to sound angry, but by now I am used to her dramatic antics. Skylar wraps her arms tighter around me before burrowing her head into my clothes. Isn't she older than me? Being forced to walk with Skylar clinging onto me, I make my way to the front gate of the estate. Zachary had said that we could teleport directly into the estate, but it would take two trips since we had four people. One was already enough to make me sick. Oh yeah, I brought Snow with me. Mari had to stay back to oversee the servants as they move my things back. I turn to see little Snow looking down in fear shivering. I guess it's no wonder. After all it's not everyday you teleport and come to the capital. . .and see His Highness. . .and the High Priest. Oh dear Lord she is probably scared out of her mind.

"Lady Kippy!" Finally she is back! I rush to the gate to see an angry Skylar at her side. I then turn to see. . .His Highness!? "Glory to the Sun!" Oh no. . .I just spoke to someone before. . . "I am so-"

"No need, Count Leon. Get my fiancee inside and I will forgive you." His Highness is as straight-faced as ever. Actually, he looks a little upset. Maybe it's just the dark circles.

"U-understood." I quickly usher the guards to open the gates just as His Highness grabbed Lady Kippy's hand, leaving Sir Malikai, Lady Skylar, a maid, and myself alone. I look at Priest Malikai only to see his unhappy expression. "How was the trip, High Priest Malikai?"

"Shut it-"

"Okay!"

"Your Highness, where are we going? I'm wearing heels!" What is going through this man's head? I wanted to ask Leon about something. "Your Majesty!"

He finally stops and looks at me. Having looked me over thoroughly, he asks, "Where did 'it' touch you?"

"Where did what touch?" What the h*** is he talking about? The only thing that's touch me was S-. Oh. "Don't tell me your jealous of little Skylar. Didn't she do that all the time when we were little?" I look to see his face is black and his usual blue eyes has a tinge of. . .red? I squint trying to figure out for myself, but I am quickly pressed against the wall.

"Answer the question." He says softly. I yipped because of the push. Although an aggressive move that certainly surprised me, it didn't hurt. His voice also seemed less angry now and more pleading.

I brush him off before saying, "Don't worry about it. Skylar is my friend. My female friend." I put emphasis on the 'female' part. What was wrong with this guy? Ever since we met after my training he's been eyeing me like a hawk. Did I do something wrong? Oh wait he must be cracky. That would also explain the dark circles. . . "Your Highness, would you like to go have some tea?" Maybe some tea would help calm his nerves.

Tea? With my wife? Well my to-be wife but same difference. I smile slightly before responding. "I can fit it into my schedule."

"Okay, let's go!" Before I can speak, Kippy starts walking away with a happy grin on her face.
