" He's extremely handy, in both warrior skills and blacksmiths." Kol spoke after Ko left.

" His grandfather was a blacksmith and his father as well when he retired. Though he was taught smithing he always wanted to be a warrior and practiced the sword in secret. When he became one his father was resistant."

" So that might explain why I felt some shakiness in his response. Though there were probably other reasons like the non-battle tested mage but you two should be able to cover that. I can feel you want to at least." I smile a bit.

" What?" He looked at me puzzled but I could feel a little nervousness.

" Nothing, I think I'll have Kyle explain archery." That confirms my senses they do have feelings for her. Hopefully, that doesn't cause party problems.

" Master, you wanted me."

Yeah, can you start with the archery tips."

Master sure, really good warrior and assassin?"

" Yeah, I wanted to learn whether or not I'm great at it. If I could use all well I was going to play switch out with all the roles and chose the best one to double on in a moment. Now I might need to know if I can do any long-range attacking ."

" Makes sense, Master thinks of many options ahead of time. Sounds simple, not simple follow position, focus, and instinct. Try." He gives me his oversized bow and arrow that both seem to be made with bone.

I  get into a bit of a squat and start to draw back. I aim at a small movement heading to a tree and as I release the slow feeling I had vanishes as the arrow hits as fast as I can release a breath. I perfectly hit some kind of hummingbird in the head.

" Master can hit at 200 lengths, excellent! Now fire on swarm, head or chest only." Another 11 of them start closing in on the cave. I draw and continue letting his well train skill flow through me." Master few more, try skill." I imagine an arrow splitting into three as it flies and the shot caught two in the chest and one wing. I try it again but thinking of lightning as the three electrified arrows hit three birds in the chest a few bolts flash between incinerating them.

"Hey, that's cheating even if you think it was cool." Khaos just killed my fun.

"Okay, Ms.Khaos kill a swarm of them then." She grabs the bow looks out the cave and steps back at least another 10 feet into the middle. She shoots the bow facing backward at such a speed I didn't see the arrow and or any of the copies as I heard at least a dozen thuds on a far off tree.

" 300 lengths, all chest and she used fire to cook them. Great goddess was nice, not that flashy." What the actual hell!

" Remember these guys may be talented in their respects but I still have the skills of those who have exceeded simple mastery."

" Got it, no point in showing off with you." An arrow flew into my shoulder.

" You're not getting my approval to leave just by trying to look good, you seem to have only barely gained my physical resistance and skill use is still abysmal." I pull the arrow out my shoulder with a bit of pain. A little, this wound is already half closed.

'Master I'm ready' I heard his voice in my head calling to me." Summon Ko!" he returned and was holding much more stuff than I figured.

"Oooh, that's [lizard noise] curse blade  I haven't seen it since my journey to ascension."

"What do you mean ascension." A reply came to me first in mind as she looked reminiscent.

'A god is simply reborn here yes but upon true death, all their subject lose power and so does their abilities. When reborn or passed it will require them to raise their level to a point before they can become a full diety. This is something only you and I can know though.' " It was my first campaign in the mortal world after being driven to near death centuries ago to rebuild my strength. I received my new subjects race after surviving the onslaught." Her second description sounds a little too political but if it makes them happy and it's not like they could know the rest.

" Wait does that implies I can get my own personal servants as I get stronger. Even become a patron to a kingdom." ' Will I become a dragonewt God if I raise my level?'

" I mean you technically will by the time I mortally wound the dragon of Order and keep him from dying unlike that idiot did, then I will open it to the full connection letting our exchange hit Max and such will become true. That will also raise them to elder status so they could start their own." She explained in a way that sounds good aloud and reveals nothing.

" Master, we will follow you gladly." They all bowed and honestly it felt a little overwhelming. I found it was kinda hard to speak but still I pushed myself to.

" Thank you, you guys are my strength and I swear to become yours. Now let's start our adventure!"

"yeah, yeah sweet. Let's move!" Khaos spread her wings and lead us out the cave.

We journeyed deeper into the jungle than my previous encounter with the dire tiger in formation. Kap led the way followed by Ko and Kyle and Kol were on either side. The rear was me and Koko, something that they said had a good reasoning for. We continued like this in silence until Khaos made her way down next to me.

Alright I confirmed it's location, be ready to engage." A loud hiss broke the silence like the brakes of a train pulling into a station. A snake head the size of a car slithered out and looked at us dragging it massive body.

Kyle quickly shot two arrows that bounced off its scales. As it looked at us Kol had already climbed a tree and went for an eye. He activated a skill and managed to pierce. The snaked hissed as it drew back but Kap didn't let it get far. He shouted something and rammed into it's body allowing Kol a way to escape. It focused on him for a moment and A chant came from Koko I couldn't understand.

Master ready?" I blinked to myself realizing these events are real then drew the bow I was carrying filling the arrow with lightning. I aim for the eye Kol hit but it leans back by as it flies dodging but going straight to a ball of flames.

Watch out, from the right!" A loud rumbling came as something moved in the thickets. I raised my shield as I got in a stance. A large grey tail whipped out the side that sent me flying as I blocked. Although I got to my feet quickly I didn't even see the road.

I start listening for sounds to lead me there but what I got was a roar. Another dire tiger in two days! What kind of Sh*t luck is this!

It began closing in and only one thought dominated my mind. Run!

I start thinking about all my abilities and then created my black electroball and shot it. It jumped out of the way but I took of the direction I came from. It may not be exact but I'll end up on the road. I use fortification as I run in case it pounces and head straight. Even if tried to now I bet I could beat it.

Right at that thought it jumped over my head and landed in my face. Instinctively I make a few small hops backwards for some space and stared at it. It seems I can't out run it or at least it will be harder than expected. Rather than giving me time to think it pounced. I quickly raise my shield to block and use fortify to avoid being crushed by it's weight and strength.

As it starts to fall I used brutal kick to regain some space. I twist my brace freeing up my hidden blade for a sneak attack. I charge in with shield bash and as I made contact I slipped my other had around to use pierce and stabbed it's shoulder. It became angry and tried slashing me with his claws. I started using the black electroball and it backed off.Then I bolted but held on to the spell as I ran making it less stable.

Master where are you?' Thank god they are ok, well Ko is.

I'm in the forest somewhere, I got knocked away by the snake and now I'm getting chased by another tiger!" I release the black electroball without looking and start again." How's subjugating the gray basilisk going."

We have it covered, if Master needs it I can assist.' Kol spoke next which means he and Koko are ok.

I couldn't the ones I need are either Kyle or Kap and they have to help you guys. I'm going to look for the road if I get close I should fi-" I was struck in the back while I was speaking. The pain drove me to think of an idea a body wrapped in black lightning. I attempted it and felt as though I was going to explode!

The actual range and power were way higher than I envisioned with pain and stress unimaginable. Once it stopped and I recovered I looked around and notice I made a large crater. I saw the tiger charred and only recognizable because there it was the last thing near me. I stood up with a bit of difficulty and continued forward. After a few minutes, I saw a giant flash of black lightning and picked up my pace knowing what has probably happened.

Draco did Koko just blow herself up!" Khaos flew right over my head.

Yep, good job discovering a new spell that 7/10 wizards can't even use. What should we call it." She grabbed me and brought me above the road at most 50 yards away. The crater was smaller than the one I made but the result was the same.

Is Koko okay?" I call to her telepathically 'Koko! Koko!' " Koko isn't responding Khaos."

'Master, stop please. Hurts. Head hurts, body hurts, lots hurt.' She responded but doesn't seem really okay. We land and I approach.

Alright, you forgave them so no more prying." Koko lifted me easily into the air. "Name the spell so it can be added to my abilities, I don't have a good explosive wave ability and that will do nicely." Mischief and something I can't feel through to yet. She's way to good at this.
