chapter 18; Damn these memories

Author's note; Okay my Lovely readers so before I start this chapter I want to give you guys the meaning of Bai zhen and little hua, Bai zhen means beautiful pearl and hua means flower so little flower. Enjoy;😘

Arya woke up to an excruciating headache, but for some reason she slept more peaceful than a baby it had been a long time she slept so well. she sat up the bed and tried to remember what happened last she only had a vague memory of her kissing, hugging and telling someone I miss you, and wait that someone called her 'the name' she was confused and tried to remember who it was but to no avail, sighing in defeat she finally stared at the room and realized that the room wasn't her's neither was it Sheila's their rooms were too girly and pinkish 'it belongs to a man' she thought then got up to survey the room,

A picture of a man caught her attention and she went to check it, her eyes widened when she saw who it was "mi rue" she burst out, she was in her boss's room, she unconsciously checked and scanned her body to make sure she was still intact and heaved a sigh when she found out she was and her bag was on a stool. She went to go get the bag and her eyes fell on another photo, she paled when she saw the photo, thinking her eyes were deceiving her she got closer and almost fainted if a pair of strong hands hadn't caught her on time.

Mi Rue woke up to prepare her some food and a hangover soup for her headache, he chuckled as he made her favorite chicken tamales wrap, she has dissociative selection amnesia and for some reason he was the only one she forgot, he wondered why she couldn't forget that b*stard she got married too. Just then something struck him she was supposed to be married and have a child 'what happened' he thought because he didn't see a wedding ring on her finger and she was answering her maiden name Mei, he didn't have any idea of what was going on and surely Sheila won't spill the beans, he finished preparing the wrap with a side onion and garlic dip, wontons and other delicacies. Carefully arranging them in a tray he went to his room quietly not to wake her up but was startled to see her looking at the picture he had taken with Sheila and her at his sides both hugging his arm and resting their head on his shoulders, he turned to look at Arya who looked paler than a ghost then saw her wanting to faint so he dropped the tray of food and rushed to catch her.

"arya" he called as he put her gently to sit on the bed but Arya wasn't even listening, her head was spinning so hard and she felt a sharp pain in her head, it was as if something as fast as lightening was flashing before her eyes and hurting her head at the same time. "ahhh" she held her head and screamed in pain, she was seeing vague images of something but couldn't pinpoint what it was. She pointed towards her bag gasping for air, she needed her pills. Mi rue rushed and gave it to her which she readily accepted and swallowed immediately, mi rue then gave her water to drink and she gulped it down quickly.

Within a few minutes Arya's ragged breathing became stable and normal after she was stable, she turned to face mi rue now she knew why she had always felt like he was familiar although she couldn't still remember anything about him from the picture she knew he was their best friend Sheila told her she forgot about, Sheila didn't tell her his name saying it will stress her. She tried to see if she will remember anything just anything even the day or event when that picture was taken but to no avail "fuck, fuck damn these memories stupid memories" she cursed as she kept on trying but felt another wave of pain in her head making her cringe.

Mi Rue held her hand to stop her from trying to remember he knew that was what she was doing "bai zhen please stop" Arya turned to stare at him "d.. don't c..call me that" now she connected the puzzle he was the one that called her that name last night, she told him she missed him, she knew she acted on her subconscious mind when drunk but damn she sounded too desperate, she didn't remember all but from what she remembered he wasn't a good target for her plan, Sheila even told her that their best friend was once in love with her, and that she also liked him this stopped her from trying to find out who he was because she didn't want anything that had to do with a man who loved her, she just hated having a romantically involved relationship, now he'll surely fall for her during the commencing of their plan.

Sheila really betrayed her, but she was sure she had her reasons, she was still angry though, how dare she not tell her and sell her like that, she needed to quit her job now, she was so scared, scared of falling for him, she knew her body was reacting to him in a way she didn't like, and it was only how day, how much so … she didn't want to loose her guard she'd rather leave "s..sorry but I quit don't try to contact me again" she stuttered and stood up to leave but mi rue held her hand "little hua please stop"

Sorry for the extremely late update,we are currently writing our promotional exams and damn they're hard so I need to read and study we'll be done by the 21st of this month then I'll have an enormous mass release to make up for it okay 😜. Also I'm adding two new stories that I'm writing they are unrequited love and forget me not. I'll tell you when I add them so you all can immediately add it to your library😝😝
