New Magical School, New Quidditch Match

Professor Hagrid taught everything about dragons. I have been always fascinated by dragons.

Of course, since my poppa studies Magizoology too, I was fairly familiar with many of the mentioned dragons. I too find them majestic but misunderstood.

After the class, we went straight to Defense Against the Dark Arts. Luckily, Steven won't be joining us.

"Hey," a voice squeaked behind me and I felt someone grab my bag. "Hi," Alexander greeted, he was panting. "Today is quidditch and Kevin wants me to tell you that you should watch him play."

"Oh? Who's playing?" I asked, adjusting the strap of my bag. Considering it loosened a bit from Alexander's grasp.

"Slytherin versus Hufflepuff."

"10 points for Slytherin!" the announcer, Johnny cheered rather bitterly. He was from Gryffindor, but rumors said that his girlfriend is from Hufflepuff. Whoever that is, I don't know. And clearly the rumors are true. He's been sort of… biased.

Anna is also a player, a beater, together with Christian, who is the seeker of our team. While Kevin is the seeker of Slytherin.

I cheered and clapped when the Slytherin got points and Timothy gave me a glare. "Oh, Kenny, where does your loyalty lie?" he asked deadly, but playfully.

"On both?" I said with an awkward grin.

"Oh, gosh," Tim squeaked when he felt someone pass behind us.

It was Michael. "Hi," he greeted.

"Hello," I greeted, patting the seat next to mine.

"So, here's for you," he handed me a bucket of popcorn as we watched the game.

"Michael, have you made a move on Timothy already?" Alexander whispered, opening his Chocolate Frog Card.

Michael groaned. "I can't," he whined, grabbing a handful of my popcorn. "He's so... slick. I can't make a move on him."

"M-Move? You're-" Alexander cut me off by grabbing my hands and I exchanged seats with Michael so that he's the one beside Tim.

"I'm pan," Michael whispered. Fake yawning and lifted his hands in the air, with his right on landing on Tim's shoulders.

"Smooth," Alexander complimented. I gave him a 'what the hell just happened?!' look and he just shrug. Diverting his attention to the game.

The game is tied. 60-60. And it was time for the Golden Snitch to make an appearance.

Christian and Kevin raced for the magical ball, with Kevin leading.

"The Seekers that are also the Head Boys of their respective Houses are battling for the Golden Snitch!" Johnny announced. Everyone was silent. Both of the boys are regarded as one of the best Seekers in the history of Quidditch in Hogwarts.

All our eyes followed the figures that were mounting the broomstick, zooming in all the places for the small golden ball.

I crossed my fingers when Kevin almost fell, Christian bumped into him rather hardly. Now, that's just unfair.

It was a close call. Christian was putting his hand out. One grasp of the Snitch and he'll win.

"Kevin! Get it or I won't talk to you!" I yelled, Kevin smirked at what I did. As my fellow Hufflepuffs, especially Tim glared daggers at me. One, Samantha Alvarez, smacked my head playfully.

After my cheer, Kevin sped up, his Comet Acceleron's tip sparked rainbow glitters as he did.

He bumped into Christian, one hard time as the latter lost his speed and tried to regain his balance.

Kevin reached his hand out, and with one swift motion, the Golden Snitch was seized by his gloved hands. He twirled a couple of times after but regained his balance and raised his hand up with the golden ball.

"Slytherin got the Snitch! Slytherin won!" Johnny announced, the winning House erupted with cheers as Kevin raised his hand in the air, the magical ball clung in between his thumb and index finger.

Kevin floated towards my direction as I walked down the bleachers and leaned in the railing. "Thanks," Kevin said with a wink. "For the cheer I mean."

"No problem," I replied, blushing like hell. This boy, I swear.

Kevin leaned towards me and with a blink of an eye, he kissed me.

I'm in a really good mood, so literally, after over a year of hiatus, I will continue this novel.
