Capturing Chickens

(A/N: For now I'm going to write this as if MC is in the game like in the vrmmo novels, but he is not, you feel me? I'm going to change it when he's not playing anymore, you feel me?)

I walked towards the villager and greeted him.

"Welcome, adventurer. I'm guessing you'd like a mission from me? Okay. Here's the thing. Recently I accidentally left my chicken barn door open and all of them escaped. Can you help me? Of course not for free." The villager said.

A quest window popped up in front of me.

[Help the villager capture the escaped chickens.]

[Time limit: None]

[Rewards: 5XP, +1 Dexterity, 5 Bronze Coin]

I nodded at the rewards, it isn't bad. I accepted the quest and as a help, I got a cage that could fit at least 10 chickens in it.

Now that I think about it, I haven't checked the status window yet.

"Hm...Yeah, this isn't a web novel, is it? I ain't got no cheat, haha."

I shake my head slightly as I started walking out of the village. I look at the map on the screen and see that there are 5 red dots on it, signaling that that's where the chickens are.

Wasting no time, I took off running toward my destination. I didn't make it far as I started to slow down because of my low endurance, and I became tired. I had to walk for some time before I could run again.

Finally, a few minutes later I arrived at the field where the chickens were chilling. I slowly crept up to the chicken that was closest to me. I quickly but carefully jumped toward the animal but it was on alert and avoided me, then loudly it started clucking alerting the others as well.

I stood up and sighed loudly. "I thought this would be easier, shit."

I waited until the birds settled down again and crept up once more to one of them and tried the same tactic. I jumped on the chicken, this time, successfully catching it.

"Yes!" I shouted in satisfaction. I picked up the chicken and took the cage of my back that was tied to my back, and put it inside it.

After this, in 10 minutes I finally without fail apprehended the birds.

I tied the cage on my back and started heading back to the village where they escaped from.
