I tied my hair and put on my apron. I turn on the stove and lay down the pot.

While I wait for the water to boil, I chopped some of the spices.

A girl just popped out in front of me. "You look cool."

I winked and say, "Thanks."

"Need help?"

"Well, I need you to mix the dough."

I went home early. Cause today is the day. Though I plan about this, I'm still nervous.

"Everything will be alright, Byul." She knew that I'm a bit tensed.

After an hour, we prepared the table, utensils, and foods.

"HAH! I'M FIRST! I WON! HAHAHAHAHAHA" I just heard Wheein's voice outside.

"They're here." I said.

Yong eonni held my hand. "I'm right here. All you need is to trust me and follow your heart."

"Yea whatever. I didn't mean to race with you." that was Hyejin's voice.

They opened the door and shouted in chorus, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"

The smile on their faces, I really love to see them on my birthday.

They really got along well. They are so adorable.

"Here's our birthday gift." Wheein gave me their gift and give me a hug.

"I hope you like it, auntie." Hyejin said.

"Thank you Wheein ah." I think I'm gonna cry. "and Hyejin ah."

I held their hand. "To be honest..."

I looked at Yong eonni, those looks saying, you can do it.

"... I need to tell you something."

Wheein and Hyejin looked at each other, with confusion. "What is it mom?"

"You know that me and Yong eonni...we've known each other since high school. We parted ways 'cause her mom, who just passed away years ago, dislikes me. I never got a chance to have her approval.

That is why, Wheein ah, Hyejin ah, I know this is weird, and might shocked you, but me and Yong eonni, asks for your approval. We loved each other for a long time."

Wheein hold my hand.

"Actually, Hyejin and I knew it already. It took me days to sink in what is happening between the of you. I... never thought something like this would happen."

"Do you hate mom now?"

"WHY WOULD I?!" she cried. "We waited for you two to confess about this."

She cried out loudly.

"How about you Hyejin ah?"

"I won't mind. Just take care of mom and love that she deserves. Don't ever hurt her just like what that old man did to mom."

"I promise." I hugged them both.

And Yong eonni joined us too. "Thank you so much."

Man, I never been contented in my life.

"Now, let's eat, shall we?" Yong eonni said.
