Chapter 5

Lie was sitting in the garden on a bench where the texture was like an antique, made from an old tree root that looked like from ancient times that had been expanded and turned into a chair. Beautiful surroundings, full of beautiful scenery that you thought was a paradise. The landscape, the bermudagrass that is evenly trimmed, as well as the very well-trimmed plants, are shouting beauties. 'Isla Pulang Lupa', what is with the name? Sounds interesting, she doesn't know this island exists. Why did Jude bring her here?

"I was just thinking, why Isla Pulang Lupa?"

"You mean the name?"

He shook his head.

"Do you want to ask why we thought you are Dianne?"

She wanted to but she doesn't want to bother his personal life. As she had said, she doesn't want to interfere with his life. It's enough that they know that she is not the person they were looking for. And she can now go back to her life.

"I don't want to interfere in your private life. But if you want to tell a story. I'm ready to listen."

'I thought you don't want to interfere with his life, but you sound so interested to know something.' Her conscience again interrupts her.

"What did you do?, really?. Don't you knew?" he is pissing her off.

Suddenly his annoying smile flashed on his face that triggers her madness.

"You liked it, you even responded to my kisses. "

"How dare you !!!" she was even more flaming with fire because she is fuming mad.

She is catching her breath but still, she is attacking him. Right here and there, but he is like having an iron body that you cannot even see bruises from all her attacks. He is shouting in pain but sounds like he is just making fun of her. The nerve of this pervert Gorilla. 'Grrrr!'

"What can I do?, Your lips' so kissable that I can't stop myself from kissing you," he explained smirking.

"You're really a perverted Gorilla !!!, you have to die now," she growled even more.

"What did you call me?"

He asked but she doesn't have the time to respond. She is so focused on killing him. Where is her gun by the way? It's better to just shoot him directly on the forehead.

"Stop it or else I'll kiss you, AGAIN"

That's when she stopped. That's when she also realized that he had just let her hit his body. After all, she's just one tick of his manly muscular arms and she is dead.

'How dumb she is acting like that?' that in just a kiss warning she stopped.

She sat down and calmed her body. Her feet ache. Her whole body shivers. Then she felt her tears flooding down her face. She can't hold herself, she sniffed and cried. She felt defeated and disrespected.

"I'm sorry" she felt his hug.

"Shss, stop crying, I hate to see you cry."

She felt his embrace tightened. She calmed herself, they looked like a couple who's having Lover's quarrel which is not so true.

"Now let's talk," he said.

"That night, when I saw you chased by those goons, and you bumped into my car. I was also looking for Dianne. I thought you are her. And I was so thankful that I found her. But my hope fades away when you talk too much. Your bravery and confidence are not Dianne's attitude and character. She chuckled at his statement.

"Is Dianne cheating?"

"No."

The answer puzzled her.

"Can you tell the story clearly so that I could understand, I am being confused."

She said it with sarcasm. She is hanging on to his little by little answer. She doesn't want to conclude on something especially that she didn't know the story.

He just stared at her. She felt like he didn't want to tell the story. He is hurting maybe. He loves Dianne, no doubt. But Why does there is something from within her that seems to prick and stinging by this revelation as well ?.

"Why can't you accept Shine, are you just pretending to be happy in front of her, and you don't like her?"

"No, I was not pretending. I accept her, she is my niece. She is my brother's daughter. I like her but I just can't accept her."

But why ? she's so good, she's kind, and she has nothing to do with what's going on right now."

"She's a responsibility, I can't do anything I want because of her, that's why I looked for Dianne." He said it with anger already as if his eyes were shooting dagger upon her.

She could not believe his reasons. Just so shallow. The child had nothing to do with their fight if ever there is.

"You know, you're shallow, you're so, so shallow. You did accept that he's your brother's wife's child, but you can't accept her because he's your responsibility now, you're selfish, you're so selfish," she said frowning.

His aura changed. I think he was hit by a spear. His gaze went blank. Later on, he smiled at her.

She was beginning to get nervous by his smile. There is something. Gradually he gets near her. She, on the other hand, was suddenly get alerted and prepared to attack. His face came close to her earlobe.

"What made you think that Dianne is my Wife?"
